Ironically she treated Aiden how Big treated her. Cold, aloof and disrespectful. She obviously didn't love Aiden. She wouldn't have talked to Big that way. She had too much love and respect for him.

She ( her character) even admitted she’s acting like Big with Aiden.
@A.M. M. Yup, remember early in their relationship when Aiden suddenly became less available and stopped calling her for a weekend? She was going nuts and freaking out the same way she had used to with Big. Of course, it turned out that Aiden was only doing this because she had actually told him to be less available to her - he was never TRULY less available to her, so it went back to her never really loving him the way she loved Big.
She could be pretty rude to Big too though. Remember when she threw all that McDonald's food all over his apartment?

Whether you like Carrie or not, this scene is very accurate and realistic for most couples. The first time you move in with a partner and the space is small and there's a shoe chewing dog in the mix, there's bound to be tension. THIS is when a relationship gets real cos it's all fun and games until you live together, you get to see who a person REALLY is. Most of us have been there, including myself🤣.

I remember the first time I moved in with a boyfriend. We had been together for 4 years. We had done EVERYTHING two people can do to/with each other; the most intimate we thought humans could be.
But sharing a bathroom and a home with someone is so much more intimate and vulnerable than anything I’ve done in the bedroom. You’re both so exposed and sensitive and you feel them judging you so you lash out before they can.
You can keep it cute for a vacation, or even multiple sleep overs a week. But eventually you get your space back and can do the things you only do alone.
The merging of spaces, man. It will make or break you.
This is the most well-written, perfectly directed, perfectly acted fight scene in all of tv history.
Which begs the question, how could the same people deliver those excrements that were the movies?

The problem with Aidan is just that.. He is not Mr Big...I remember when she was begging Mr Big for giving her a key of his appartment, or a sign that she is the one, or to considering her in his decisions like when he was going to Paris work...And now that she found a man that gives her all that she wants and needs she isn't satisfied and fight about little things...She becomes sooo greedy
I know. I mean seriously if I have a man like Aidan, tall, big, masculine, caring, sweet and handsome guy. I wouldn't give a fuck to Mr Big. It's rich he's such an a hole. However, this is very real. We usually treat who loves us as shit then go crazy for some super ahole
That's because the man who "loves you" is not respecting himself in the way he deals with you. Anyone who puts up with that kind of shit has no self respect. I'm no Aiden, but if you pulled that with me, I'd smile, wait till you were out the door, lock it, and then start throwing all your worthless crap out the window, preferably while you were on the street so I could get the full pleasure of watching you flip out.
I'd even get some friends to come by and video it, then I'd put the entire thing on facebook for more laughs.

Brilliantly written scene
I loved this fight scene - still probably my favorite fight scene ever. Because neither is really in the right or wrong, moving in together is tough man, especially when they didn't have enough space, and well, it gets everyone real irritated. It was just a very well executed fight between partners where I don't feel like it's about who's to blame at all.

Moving in together can be quite stressful, especially if it’s into a studio apartment. However, Carrie and Aiden are not compatible at all, which only added more issues.

Aiden was so much better the second time around. He was just too damn perfect the first time they dated and a lot less believable. Some of the things he did made me want to punch him but it also fleshed out his character and made me like him more. I miss Carrie and Aidan together.

I agree with Carrie on this. It might've been extremely petty, but it was also highly understandable. Aiden's stuff was all around her apartment and he had his dog with him whilst Carrie was struggling to get through the door.Then on top of everything else, Aiden had told her that she didn't need all of the stuff in her closet and his dog had chewed on her shoes. I liked Aiden but he shouldn't have tried to make Carrie get rid of her designer clothes that were sentimental to her. He should’ve moved in his stuff at a gradual pace instead of all at once and had his dog trained to not chew up other people's shoes to prevent this argument from happening in the first place. And if someone doesn't like my opinion on this matter than oh well: I can't please everybody.

I think Aiden didn't act humble enough in the situation. He is moving into her place, he needs to take responsibility for the space that he claims and his dog that's unpredictable in the flat. This could've been handled better by planning and respecting each others needs. I agree with Carries "case", it isn't acceptable to just throw half her wardrobe out and leave an animal unsupervised in a tiny flat, however the way that she acts is completely childish, selfish and mean. Aidan is not mean, he could've planned it better though. He is a bit clueless with girls values which is forgivable. But Carrie lacks the patience of a grown woman and is way too mean and aggressive. If he had her heart, she'd never talk down to him like she did. Carrie doesn't know what she wants or she's too selfish to give the man the truth.
