god they really decimated Miranda's character. In satc she doesn't let Steve move into a shitty apartment because she can't bear to let him live in such a dump. Now she's demanding that Steve leave the home he partially built and uses the fact that his name isn't on the mortgage as leverage. The new writers changed a headstrong, hardworking character into a financially and emotionally abusive person.
Yes nobody cares for a spouse who throws stuff in their face like that. Miranda hated Brooklyn and treated Steve and Brady like interruptions to her career.
I call bullshit anyone that's been married and decides to separate its freaking hard you fight over stupid shit you say mean shit to one another hurt people hurt people in a nutshell...and while we're at it he KNEW she didn't want to live in Brooklyn but he pushed her into..so the fact that she sacrificed her wants and needs for her family and took in her mother in law to boot means nothing to you people you only see her flaws because you don't like her. Shame on you women that are so mean. I love Steve's character too but it just didn't work out. No blame
Good for Steve for calling her out. She had the affair with the biggest emotional mess of character on tv history. So she should find an apt. I hate MPK for destroying this franchise. 🤬
I never understood why they changed him from that cool bartender who would stand up for himself when Amanda got abusive to her doormat. She had this tongue-lashing coming to her.
*it's who he is!!! always looking at what's right for EVERYONE. getting on the subway like that at night could get you GOT. at least we know now 💯% for sure that he STILL has one good COJONE left. LMBO!!! **#JUSTICEFORSTEVE* ⚖✊🏼⚽🚉👏🏼
Saying something designed to deliberately hurt someone is not ok. Only someone with no class does that. It's not his house. It's their house and technically her house. Just because you put work into it does not mean it's yours. If you knew she never wanted you, then why the hell did you pick her? The abortion thing is not even an issue. Lots of single women consider abortion when they get pregnant. They work through it. They move on. It's in the past. Miranda was a great mother and did her best to make it all work. If you want her back say you want her back. But a better question to ask yourself is why do I want someone back who I think never wanted me? That's where he should be focusing his energies.
@@jm7804 He said what he was thinking and what was on his mind. It wasn’t deliberately to hurt her feelings but if the shoe fits…but even if it was she deserves to know how her actions effects him and how he feels. And it’s his house too. She can’t ask him to leave. He said he would but then realized why should he leave when he has rights to the house too and she was the one who up and left. And even if her name alone is on the mortgage, she bought the house after they were married. He’s just letting her know he’s not leaving cause it’s his house too and he put in work to make it their home. He pulled his weight. Miranda deserved those words from him.
No, she began crying hysterically because he held her considering abortion against her. He's an abusive cunt with skid marks that is mad she won't be funding his life anymore.
No because the crappy writers never bothered to watch the original and they allowed Cynthia Nixon to play herself instead of playing her actual character. Garbage, all of it. Miranda would never act like this and she's not gay. She's only "gay" because Cynthia Nixon hates men now.
So she's an independent, smart, grown-up woman and the minute someone calls her on her BS her response is to burst into tears and run away like a child. Steve is absolutely right. TEAM STEVE all the way.
Funny, the writers, in response to the backlash of last season decided to give Steve back is backbone or more aptly return the character to the Steve we remember from the original series.
Kudos to your husband for watching this horrible woke show. I watched the pilot with my wife and went that's it it's your night Hun, I now have my night too where I can watch whatever I want
Why do you assume it’s a female show? It’s not like women don’t have a good taste and don’t call it out for being crap. Agreed about all the woke nonsense though. Made it unwatchable. I realize there are some people who might realize their desires late in life but COME ON, all those girls had dozens of partners and experiments and were very liberated and you want to tell me after 20 years of marriage she suddenly discovers she’s a lesbian for a gal she barely knows and destroys her family without a blink of an eye? Nah, fuck that shit.
Steave is THE best man of original show. He was always honest and kind to every character. He was there when he’s needed. Miranda is so fking wrong when she left him. He is still apologising to her for HIS feeling (she doesn’t care).
I would also add Harry. He was/is this amazing husband to Charlotte. The writers stuffed a lotta things up, but they kept the quality and consistency of Steve and Harry which I shall always be thankful for.
I don't think he is the best. He pressured Miranda to mold herself into what he needed and wanted. As Miranda's partner I think he doesn't work. But he is a good man.
When she said that about the mortgage.....shameful. Imagine her holding that over him for their marriage. At the end of SATC you had the feeling that she had grown into their relationship, truly loved him and the family they were making together. I guess not. He never ever should have pursued Miranda. Should have stuck with sweet pretty Debbie.
I'm a casual viewer, does anyone know if she bought the house before or after they were married? If she bought it after than it would be considered marital property, even if her name is on the mortgage.
@@heresqueenieThey were married. After they got married, they were living in Miranda’s apartment and realized it was too small for them. Then they found the house in Brooklyn.
Miranda is the problem, she never wanted to live in Brooklyn, Steve basically built that house up to standard and probably did all the repairs while still working at his bar. Steve was also a more hands-on parent to Brady than Miranda, who was either with the girls or at work. The nanny did a lot of the work and was like a grandmother to Brady. Miranda blew up her family for someone who doesn't even want or treat her well. Steve was right and should be angry.
@banannakis6723 Now see, I was with you on this post. All with the glaring exception of the "hands-on parent" comment. That's completely subjective and biased against Miranda. She wasn't "always" out with the girls or at work. Magda wasn't a live-in and had set times to go home, mind you. Remember, we only see PARTS of these people's lives. She was as loving and nurturing a mom to Brady as he deserved (at least in the original show). What? Just because she had a high-powered career and could afford full-time help, that somehow makes her an inattentive (or uncaring) parent? PLEASE!
She ultimately spent more time with him than Steve, as well, since she had him all week for mornings, evenings, and overnights. Steve only had him on the weekends, since he couldn't afford to look after him longer and miss work, PLUS he was a bit more nervous about being alone with him initially. Remember when he freaked out about spending one weekend alone with him when Brady was already nearly a year old and Miranda had an opportunity to go out of town with her friends after not going on any kind of vacation for a number of YEARS? She ended up having to ask Magda to give up HER weekend to do even more of her grueling job! Goes to show that even the most nurturing and capable of parents are in need of some help.
Of course Steve was more "playful" with him than Miranda once he was older and in the running around phase. That's the easier part of parenting. It doesn't, however, make the other parent any less "hands on" just because they're not rolling around in the dirt with them every second. In those dynamics, BOTH parents are loving and attentive to their child, just with slightly differing energies. You should know that there's much more to parenting than just playtime. Bottom line: PLEASE stop painting career-driven parents with the broadest of brushes. It's very cliched and insulting. Thanks.
Because..... that's Steve! 😥 He gives all of himself to those he loves even if it destroys him.* If the writers were gonna change Miranda, then they should've done the same to Steve. Then that way the demise of the relationship whilst sad and heartbreaking, would've at least been somewhat understandable. *his one time straying notwithstanding.
I mean he only apologized about Brady thats it. He meant everything else and he stood by it which was nice. and he still cares about her and didn't want her out at night on the subway upset.
Some really great acting by David, I'm surprised Steve didn't lose it sooner with the way Miranda has treated him over the years, Miranda should do the decent thing and let him stay, it was her choice to leave the relationship
It seems like an impossible ask to have 2 formerly married people to continue living under the same roof together. They should do like everyone else in this situation and sell the house and split the proceeds 50/50.
Except Miranda is Carrie's best friend because they both can relate to each other because of their extreme selfishness/narcissism. Miranda is incapable of putting anyone before herself or letting anything impact her career or finances. From her perspective letting Steve have the place would be letting him win which her narcissistic personality could not countenance.
@@GutterFlower-t2u She thought he was going to move out, so she kept paying the mortgage. In their divorce agreement they'll need to work out how Steve and Brady can stay there - refinance, etc. He deserves that house.
Exactly!! She’s getting what she wanted she was so desperate to leave Steve and this life that she just hated so much for someone she knew for two seconds so it’s time for her to face the repercussions of her choices!
All he said was 100 %truth. She didn’t want to have kids, she almost had an abortion. She never wanted Steve until she saw him with another woman (much prettier).
@sabrinarasulova9350 yup she only had Brady due to Charlotte guilt tripping her and she only wanted to be with Steve when he had moved on even though she and Steve had no business being together it was never gonna work as well as Miranda agreeing to things she really didn't want like moving to Brooklyn we can say that at least Steve made that house a home but other than that that's about it
No no no she suddenly realised she did want to be with Steve she made that decision on the bridge when she went to meet him , she did love him and she loved Brady , I do not understand why this series has completely destroyed what we knew and cherished so dearly , it has annihilated its original characters .
@@deerheart87That scene on the bridge is from the movie. She forgave him for cheating. But in the series the previous comments are right about their only wanting Steve after he moved on…
@@ladybug7273Okay I'm just gonna put this out here. Steve had a one night stand with a stranger, felt DEEP remorse and took accountability immediately, and accepted it was his fault for Miranda harshly punishing him for over a year before they worked to repair their relationship. Miranda had a whole months long thing and relationship with Che, and not only still seems to show no remorse for it- but is playing full on victim mode and telling Steve that HE should be the one to leave his own damn house!? Why!? No!!! If you blow up your marriage, you should take some dang responsibility for it not further blow up your Ex's life. Bringing up Steve cheating is a nonstarter.
Imagine being THAT selfish that you choose to leave your spouse for someone else and then have the audacity to angrily tell him to leave your house like hes the one that did something wrong!
Oh, abandon her family did she? And yet she's still making the trip twice a week to clean that house. She' was his bangmaid their whole marriage and now she is his maid and she's sick of it. He funded his dream life with her money, manipulated her and wore her down, he cheated on her and BLAMED HER FOR IT saying it is because she's never in the mood, how could she be when she's so fucking exhausted? @@Julieglam3 she forgave and they started over. If they couldn’t forgive, they weren’t supposed to meet on the bridge. Or are you one of those that thinks a woman can never be wrong?
That's some impressive acting by David Eigenberg! I can feel the emotions he's conveying through his yelling-the pent-up anger, frustration, and the tone of being fed up and out of breath. It's evident that he's trying to hold back his complaints or venting, but his anger becomes uncontrollable with each line. Great job! Thank you!
SHE left HIM and wanted a NEW life ! He was happy LIVING in that house, which he made a HOME out of with her and their son..SHE was BORED with her family! SHE wanted OUT let HER find a NEW place!!!
I agree that Steve didn’t need to apologize but I think it shows kind of how great he is that even in that moment, he knew he hurt someone he loved and acknowledged it. He also knew that her leaving in that state would not be good and cared enough to tell her to wait until they calmed down.
Steve shouldn't apologize for Miranda becoming a pansexual deadbeat absentee parent. Miranda spontaneously bursting into tears was just obviously her playing the victim card because Steve called her out on her selfish actions
SHE is the absentee parent despite the fact that she makes a trip across the state weekly to clean the house she is not living in and to leave Brady his meds, because STEVE can't be arsed to pick it up? Are you soft in the head?
...because the writers are clueless. In reality, even if he thought better of it after he cooled down, his final words would have been more like NOW GET THE FUCK OUT AND USE YOUR NEW GIRLFRIEND'S FUCKING WASHER AND DRYER!!!!
Her reaction to what he said btw is SUCH a classic example of how a gaslighting, toxic, abusive person in a relationship reacts when the spouse finally builds the courage to step out of the victim zone and tell it how it is. She’s so sure of herself all the time but suddenly she reacts hysterically when she sees the person doesn’t kneel before her anymore and instead tells her a few honest harsh words. Classic behavior.
"finally has courage to step out of the victim zone" bruh their life was HIS dream life that he funded with HER money. "I MADE IT!!!" he screams like a toddler as if he could ever afford to do it. She was his fucking bangmaid for 20 years. He cheated on her, emotionally abused her, she took care of HIS mom, not he (it is not an issue that she was gentle caring for her mom in law, the issue is that HE didn't care for his MOM) and he has fucking skid marks. He is not a fucking victim here. She is.
I've had enough with the "I make more money" argument. There is NOTHING more disgusting and degrading than using this against your spouse. I stand against men doing this to women and I will stand against it if the genders are reversed too. Sharing your lives, living together and literally raising kids is SO. MUCH. MORE than who earns more money. As someone who at one point earned significantly more than my partner, I'd even argue it's actually the least significant thing you can bring into the relationship.
The point is not that she made more money, the point is she did EVERYTHING. If he was an actual house husband and held the fort while she went out and afforded them the fort, that would be one thing. But she did EVERYTHING. She brought in the money for him to spend, she cleaned after his ungrateful ass and did all the domestic labor. If a man had a housewife who did jackshit you all would be running to his aide and telling him to leave her because she is just a gold digger. Also, he has skid marks. @@Googaify
She never wanted this life, EXACTLY. This is STEVE'S dream life funded with HER hard earned money. He manipulated and wore her down and enjoyed leeching off of her both financially and in domestic labor for twenty years. HE was lucky with her, he is just pissed she wants an out and his golden goose is about to stop laying eggs.
Apart from him irritatingly apologizing I’m glad he finally stood up for himself and rightfully told her off. She has no right to get all whiny and start with the waterworks cuz she brought this on herself with unbelievably foolish choices. She was the one who was through with Steve and wanted out of this life that she’s just so trapped and miserable in and now she’s getting exactly what she wanted so if anyone should leave the apartment, it should absolutely be her not Steve.
For those of you stating that he never should have apologized, if you pay attention he ONLY apologized for what he said about Brady, everthing else he meant it. And I believe that the only reason he stopped her is because life is too short and if she walked out that door, under that condition, and something was to happen to her, he would've felt guilty, even if what he said was the truth. Which is why he asked her to stay at the home UNTIL they have calmed down.
Thank you!!! You said this perfectly. Miranda was willing to endure everything he was saying, but for him to throw their CHILD into it the way he did was VERY LOW!!!! Even for Steve… he knew he truly effed up. Honestly, when you’re about to have a baby and the mother or father is having seconds thoughts, considers abortion, what have you… but they change their mind and decide to have the child, you NEVER throw it in their face years later that they didn’t want the child. It’s mean and just a lazy way to weaponize something against someone.
@@TamESQYes to the original comment and yes to your follow up. That was the real low blow. Yes, in the series she considered an abortion but then she changed her mind. She loves Brady so for Steve to say that, that bit hurt her deeply.
I hope to God that the writers aren't looking to have them reconcile. Steve was always too good for Miranda. I hope he finds happiness with someone else. That would be the more emotionally satisfying ending.
I've been watching SATC since the very beginning. This is without a doubt the BEST scene!! I literally gasped and had to rewind it three times. Absolute brilliant acting and writing
The movies killed Steve by making him an adulterer. Steve would never have done that. He worshipped Miranda. But that drama got resolved and we all moved on. AJLT killed Miranda by making her….whatever this character now is. SATC gave Miranda and Steve the perfect story arc. Miranda realising she *can* find love and not give up her independence and career. Steve accepting Miranda being the breadwinner and him thriving as a homemaker. They grew because of each other and have been knocked down by confected dramas the writers have felt the need to put them through
She deserved everything he said to her. She's always treated him like she was better than him and that she was settling. He didn't need to apologize. Team Steve
He should’ve kept his rant about them… he royally messed up when he decided to bring Brady into it and tell her she never wanted him. That was very low.
Yes, and her throwing "whose name is the mortgage in" at him first was very sweet and caring. Sometimes when you start throwing shit, you get twice as much thrown directly at your face.
@@tacoheadmakenzie9311 You’re comparing that to their kid…? Yeah, it’s not comparable.. nice try. A mortgage isn’t as gut-wrenching as throwing your child in the mix. Not everything is a one-up when it comes to fighting with family.. there’s places you don’t go.
@@TamESQ Gut wrenching? Hmmmm, let's see...has Miranda done anything to Steve lately that might fit into that category? No, probably not...she's just trying to find herself. How could unceremoniously dumping Steve for whatever Che is be compared to his accusing her of not wanting their kid in the heat of an argument? Steve bad, Miranda good!
Steve is a good guy. He was angry and every right to be. She put him through the ringer for a long time after he cheated on her in the first movie. Then without so much as a thought running through her head, she leaves Steve unceremoniously for Che (aka the worst TV character ever). They are truly terrible. Miranda deserved this comeuppance. He apologized because he got out the hostility and anger and didn't want her to cry. He's a good guy.
With where Miranda's character has gone, i think it's time she gets what she deserves. She should lose everything. Her decisions show that she deserves nothing nice, she ruins everyone she comes across.
He shouldn't have apologized because it's all true. She didn't want any of it but somehow convinced herself that it was the right thing to do, but she fought it every step of the way. Then she resented everything and effed off.
He SHOULD apologize. HE wore her down into it. She funded his dream life for 20 years and tolerated his skid marks, for fuck's sake. And then he has the nerve to throw the fact that she was insecure about having a baby in her face?
@@lillyess385 So what? Even women who PLANNED a pregnancy can get insecure about it once pregnant or even after giving birth, let alone those who did not plan it and received minimal and radically dwindling support from their partners.
Poor Steve…man she did a number on him. He finally speaks the truth to her, she can’t handle it, and be back pedals. She couldn’t stand her own reflection. She never could, and he paid the price.
She literally left and moved out of the state then comes back and wants him to leave their home. She's insane and he shouldn't have apologized. Mirnada is a selfish, self centered, air head in AJLT
She left and moved out of state... to give him time to find somewhere else to live. She left and moved out of state... and is still making the trip WEEKLY to come and CLEAN for the asshole. And leave Brady's medication, because God forbid his dad does anything. Miranda was Steve's bangmaid the whole marriage and even after separation she is still his maid.
@@lulupomegranate sorry for log reply! I disagree with the framing here. This is HIS house, he is not obligated to move just b/c she wants him to. SHE LEFT HIM AND THE HOUSE. If your partner cheated on you and left the state then called you back and said it didn't work out you need to move out.... don't tell me you would consider that reasonable. No one is making her come and clean she is an adult, if she had boundaries and self respect she wouldn't she's choosing to do that. Brady is 18 she is being a helicopter parent by allowing him to stay irresponsible and a baby by doing his chores for him. She needs to find her own place and stop trying to clean up after other people.
1) At first she said she will leave. STEVE is the one who said he's gonna find another place, he LIED about it. The most gentle interpretation of the current situation is that he changed his mind and had no respect for her to actually tell her, the worst is that he lied from the beginning to prolong the divorce. Yes, no one asked her to come and clean, but the 20 years of being his bangmaid conditioned her to do so. Just because she shouldn't have taken such treatment doesn't excuse Steve from dishing it out. He was comfortable his entire marriage letting her do all the work and he was comfortable letting her to do it during the separation, hiding behind the "oh I didn't TELL you to" Brady is absolutely a king baby, and yes Miranda raised him so, but Miranda is the ONLY one who raised him, WHILE she and the baby lived with a manbaby that is comfortable letting her wife do everything. Such treatment influences both the mother and the baby. It doesn't change the fact that Steve didn't do squat for that kid. It was all Miranda. And no, it is not HIS house. I am not saying that he mustn't have it, neither did Miranda because not once did she aim to ruin him, but it is not AUTOMATICALLY his nor is he automatically deserving of it. So him screaming how it is his because he made the kitchen (made the kitchen, in a month, with Miranda's money) is irrelevant. Miranda ONLY brought up the deed once he claimed it was HIS. @@bascal133
No, it's always been her house. She also took care of his Mom, he had his Mom living in bugs. He was living in a city basement when she got with him. He's always been a broke loser. After she birthed a child, paid for and moved in his Mom with dementia, he said to her, you're not paying enough attention to me, even though you bought us a million dollar home, so he cheated on her. She should've left him on the bridge. Steven has always been a mooche and a loser. His bar is because of Aiden. He's never been a good dude, he's always been a mooch and a loser. He's a terrible son, husband and Father. It's about time he's getting kicked to the curb. She paid for all the supplies to put in the kitchen. He got to live in a million dollar home for free for years. It was never his house. She bought it. You should see Steve from the beginning. Mooched off girls - slept around. She had to pay for Brady, Steve was a broke loser.
Miranda used to be down to earth realistic charecter. Now she is heartless selfish shell of it. Steve didn’t deserve it. He always was to great to her, appreciated her so much.
Uhhh what exactly did he appreciate? Her career which he sabotaged, but loved the money that was pouring in? Her doing all the domestic labor? Her taking care of his mom? What did he DO for her? Nothing. He just drained her, for 20 years.
I will never not be angry at the writers nuking these two characters. They were flawed, but they grew together. I refuse to accept the movies and this show as canon.
Justice for Steve!! me and my GF felt such satisfaction watching this scene. This reboot has butchered Miranda's character and I appreciate Steve speaking up for himself. He definitely should've let her ass walk out.
He SHOULDN'T have apologized....he was RIGHT! But...that is who he is. He has something that Miranda doesn't and could never even understand the concept of possessing.........A FCKIN HEART AND SOUL!!!
Just for clarification, it doesn’t matter who is on the mortgage. The house belongs to who is on the deed. Given that they are married and have a kid, I’m sure they are both on the deed.
He rebuilt the house. He's the one there for his son most of the time. She wants finger sessions, okay, but find yourself an apartment for them rather than forcing your husband and son out. Man, I really can't stand her character even more so now. She always treated him like she was the one settling and that he embrasses her. He could find a woman who treats him as an equal partner and loves and respects him.
This woman blind sides her husband by hooking up with another person and then dropping the “I want a divorce” which was a surprise to him.. AND she wants to kick him out of his home for YEARS.. nope. She should be the one to move.
FINALLY YES STEVE!!!!!! She needed to hear this and her reaction is exactly what I thought it would be cause he was throwing facts at her. They ruined Miranda’s character. I think Steve was the only one that put so much effort into this relationship. Miranda did in the beginning, had to overcome some things about her self and become vulnerable to him, but at the end, she never really loved him the way he loved her and their family.
Miranda is super selfish. Many separated couples could balance this out and live together until a spot opens up. Who cares if you do what a mother does around the house. To use your own words, Miranda... You broke us, what we had is broken.😢❤
Miranda never deserved Steve. She is the worst. Her character normalized verbal abuse. It is like they had no idea how to make a strong, smart independent woman without making her a total shrew. So what if she paid for stuff. He took care of Brady. It is no different than men who work and think their wives who stayed at home with the kids didn't contribute. He made it possible for her to work. Ugh. Her character is the worst.
Best part of AJLT. So happy Steve stands up & tells her off. They made Steve into an old man so different from his character. Miranda turned into a self-centered, selfish, foolish person.
Right. If Steve legitimately gets killed off in season 3, sex and the city and I are 100% getting divorced. This marriage has been rocky AF for the last few years and if Steve goes, so do I. He has always been my personal favourite over everyone in these shows/movies. He is sooo relatable to me. The only character who has ever really been relatable to me. I have never liked Carrie, or Miranda and I celebrated when Big died... Samantha is awesome. Charlotte is okay... Steve is awesome and the series has done him seriously dirty. Don't effing kill Steve!!!!!
Miranda was never a nurturer, carer, or family person. She always threw people and things away easily (which Carrie famously said to her in SATC). She's always been emotionally cold. Steve carried the family.
Uhh.... She literally took care of Steve's mom when HE didn't do it. She was very much a caring, family person, it is just that there is more than one way to raise a family and the way her life went was STEVE'S WAY OR THE HIGH WAY. This is his dream life funded by her money. Of course she is resentful, she is finally waking up. She gave him over 20 years of her life, her labor, her money, and what does she have to show for it? Nothing, he will always demand more more more because he can guilt her for not being lovey dovey. He always made her feel like she has to make up for being focused on her career, yet he was more than happy to swim in the money that career provided. "I made it!!!" he screams, as if there'd even be a kitchen to be made without her. As if he could afford the upfront COST OF SUPPLIES to make a kitchen. Steve didn't carry the family, SHE carried STEVE, and when he realizes that might stop, he throws a tantrum and acts like she is a monster for having been nervous and insecure about having a baby TWO DECADES AGO. Mind you, he's not even caring for his son! She lives across the fucking state line and is still the one to clean the house HE and the kid live in, and she's the one to drop off the kid's meds because STEVE can't be arsed to pick them up. And he has fucking skid marks, and this is not even covering the cheating. He's a horrible husband and a mediocre father and had no right to talk to her this way.
It never should have had to come to this. If someone isn’t crazy about you right from the start, let them go. You can’t make someone love you. It always ends up like this
Steve has a point. he has been her doormat for a while... all strong accomplished Miranda who seems more lost in her life ... Maybe thats because she actually isnt fulfilled having a big job in the city. Steve is a good guy and she just doesnt appreciate him.
I’m glad Steve went tf OUFF! She had some nerve!!! Steve made that house a home! Not her! The fact shes trying to kick him out so her and her lesbian lover can fuck all over the home he built with his family! If she wants out? Than leave! That’s your family’s home! Not you and your lovers.
Miranda never deserved Steve and he definitely should not be the one to move out of that house. She pisses me off even if she’s not saying anything. Can’t stand her.
She wasted his life. Everything he said was true. The arrogance to assume she would keep the house after she thew him away when he made it into a home. She’s never been a decent human.
I felt bad for Miranda’s tears as I myself don’t relish in hurting people just for the sake of hurting them BUT it is true in that some people do indeed need to get their feelings hurt.
I can't help but wonder what kind of life Steve would have had with Debbie. She truly loved him 💔

Fucking Facts!

Debbie was prettier too.
I'm a casual viewer, does anyone know if she bought the house before or after they were married? If she bought it after than it would be considered marital property, even if her name is on the mortgage.
I believe they were engaged but Steve did all the renovations by himself. She at least owes him the cost of that.

can you imagine if a husband said that to a wife...
Steve was absolutely right
I thought Samantha was an absolute G, and proved her loyalty to her friends. I don’t buy AJLT making her a fair-weather friend.
❤ spot on
@gradetrend8138
Not entirely spot on.
@banannakis6723
Now see, I was with you on this post.
Thanks.

Miranda has absolutely no accountability to her character throughout the entire series. It's insane such a person has managed to survive this long.
There's nothing "lucky" about ending up with someone like Steve...she has always been WAYYYY out of his league

Yes, no one asked her to come and clean, but the 20 years of being his bangmaid conditioned her to do so. Just because she shouldn't have taken such treatment doesn't excuse Steve from dishing it out. Best part of AJLT. So happy Steve stands up & tells her off. They made Steve into an old man so different from his character. Miranda turned into a self-centered, selfish, foolish person.
Go steve! No apologies necessary. I love Steve and she screwed him.
I just rewatched season 6. It’s like they forgot that Miranda was in love with Steve that whole time.
Miranda became infuriating. She never gets called out, then she does, and he apologizes. Bullshit.
Miranda was never a nurturer, carer, or family person. She always threw people and things away easily (which Carrie famously said to her in SATC). She's always been emotionally cold. Steve carried the family.
I would sell the house and let him raise the kid
Sweetie.. Get therapy. You’re raging on everyone. It’s just a show. It’s okay !
He is a nice guy yes, but he shouldn't have apologized for speaking his peace. Miranda deserved that for a long, long time.
Steve read her to filth 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
It never should have had to come to this. If someone isn’t crazy about you right from the start, let them go. You can’t make someone love you. It always ends up like this
Ding ding ding. He should have been at best a one night stand. They were always bad for eachother.
There’s a song called I’m gonna make you love me
I dont watch the show, but is about damn time Steve. Never apologize for speaking the truth!!
Steve has a point. he has been her doormat for a while... all strong accomplished Miranda who seems more lost in her life ... Maybe thats because she actually isnt fulfilled having a big job in the city. Steve is a good guy and she just doesnt appreciate him.
Steve should not apologize and let her go. She deserves it. The scene went from great to cringe.
Miranda picking a fight and then crying after valid points are made is the antithesis of her. Who even is this person?
I’m glad Steve went tf OUFF! She had some nerve!!! Steve made that house a home! Not her! The fact shes trying to kick him out so her and her lesbian lover can fuck all over the home he built with his family! If she wants out? Than leave! That’s your family’s home! Not you and your lovers.
He.was.right.
I was clapping!! YES STEVE YOU SET HER STRAIGHT!
And how straight are ya ?
Miranda did not, I repeat, did not deserve Steve. EVER.
I was cheering and almost screaming for Steve here. He finally called out Miranda’s bs!
Y’all need to find real friends
@@Mildredpotka Tf does that have to do with what I said?
@@JoelWalker56 I won’t have you disrespecting me. I’m a strong woman
@@JoelWalker56 but I’ll give you a like
@@Mildredpotka Wt f are you even talking about? Lmao.
For a moment, Steve had his ball back
“Ball” haha 😅
I forgot if he ended up getting the prosthetic ball.
Finally someone called her out on her BS. Steve is completely right.
Miranda never deserved Steve and he definitely should not be the one to move out of that house. She pisses me off even if she’s not saying anything. Can’t stand her.
He’s riiight. You go.
She wasted his life. Everything he said was true. The arrogance to assume she would keep the house after she thew him away when he made it into a home. She’s never been a decent human.
Strong and independent woman until called out on her crap. Afterwards, reverts to a weak coward.
I felt bad for Miranda’s tears as I myself don’t relish in hurting people just for the sake of hurting them BUT it is true in that some people do indeed need to get their feelings hurt.
She deserved to hear that.
Steve made the house a home. Everything Steve said was right......
WHY DID HE POLOGIZE?!?! For years she’s treated this good man like caca!
For 20 years she funded that man's dream life and was his bangmaid.
He hit the nail right on the head!
