    Three things for me: 1) They really could've thought of a better ending story for Stanford - I hate that they made him to be so 'flighty' and detached from his reality with Anthony; they really should've thought of something other than what they went with; 2) I HATE the bringing back of Aidan - I really do; I have long said that bringing back a better, more thoughtful version of Berger would be more interesting - or someone new altogether... nothing against the man himself but, leave Aidan in the past - give this story line a much deserved rest. 3) I cannot stand Che - yuck; and not because 'they' are non-binary, but just because I think they suck - just so very irritating.

    • @cjking4511
      @cjking4511 Год назад +2

      I agree. I think the writers have totally disregarded Stanford's character ever since they married him to Anthony. Two old gay bottoms are not going to end up married in real life so why do that on this show? It would have been more realistic to make them long time girlfriends like the male version of Carry and her girlfriends. Aiden is a waste of time on this show and proves writers are struggling to think of ideas. Somebody new is what viewers want to see with Carrie.

Hell, she slept with Che in front of Carrie, in the middle of Carrie's kitchen! As for Steve, Miranda left him. It stopped being "their" bed when she moved out to be with a person she'd just met after almost 2 decades of marriage. I didnt understand the heterosexual bashing in this one Miranda got on everyone's nerves because of what she did to Steve, but she certainly embraced her relationship with Che and loved that person through their many flaws. Che's jokes never land which is why Tony Danza couldnt even save the pilot. Che is just downright mean and that entire standup routine was cruel and completely at Mirandas expense. Che hasnt even been a "them" that long and was having a full blown relationship with a man but they have the book on how to be fluid the right way? Its not a competition, but in Che's mind it very much is. The irony of it all is that Che is still very much unhappy and confused about themselves. Che obviously uses sex as a space cushion to avoid true connection as everything has to be platonic unless it comes to their horrible standup. I actually commend Miranda for exploring something completely foreign to her and taking it seriously, isn't that what finding yourself is about? Oh and apparently straight people dont communicate in their relationships either which is why a husband had to trick his wife into getting pregnant.

And I absolutely couldn't stand how self centered and self absorbed Carrie was. Once the Natasha thing was dealt with, Carrie has become very palatable, and almost kind. I do enjoy how they writers have made these women very flawed and interesting. They no longer live in these little fantasy worlds with their fantasy lives.
    And the Che debacle while not knowing Miranda was present, that is very real. That's what comedians do, they poke puns & tear their lives & people in their lives apart. It was horrible & i think this gave the opening to writers to write Che out of Miranda's life. Che is even more self absorbed & narcissistic than Carrie ever was. @@esthert9146 Just because you are a parent does not automatically make you a good parent. Who says Charlotte is a good parent? When she was not working her kids were still spoiled and out of control. The one daughter wants to be a ho and wants to give her virginity up to a guy she is not in a relationship with and the other daughter seems to have no friends. The ho daughter brought drugs into Charlotte's house and Charlotte accidentally got high off them. I don't see how Charlotte working again and coming home drunk one night is any worse or better than how she was when she was not working. She does not discipline her kids or teach them right from wrong

      Carrie chose her obsession vs someone who actually loved her properly. She won her Big, but at what costs? Maybe the writers will allow them to finally connect, but Carrie is too self centered and selfish - that will not serve her or Aiden.

      Some ppl do hate it(I don't understand why they would keep watching it)but then there are ppl like me who love the show but also love to gossip about certain characters? Before the Internet/social media, we would all meet up around the water cooler or the break room, and discuss our favorite shows..... except back then, we actually behaved like adults and didn't verbally attack each other over not agreeing on certain things?

    They really have done everything to make Che unfunny. Like, their set could have some merit. But the best comics I see doing comedy that way is they shit on themselves first, creating a safe space to shit on everyone else and find the humour.
    I love Sara Ramirez but Che is a really poorly written character and it’s a such a shame!
