I have a client couple who has this aspect in their combine and in their composite chart. Both of them are very plutonic individuals, he has Pluto conjunct his NN in Virgo and she has Pluto conjunct her Moon and her Mars in Virgo. Other than the Sun-Pluto square in the Combine and in the Composite, they have a lot of harmonious aspects, like Sun sextile Sun, Venus Sextile Venus, Mars Sextile Mars... In their specific case, Pluto Sun square seems to turn out as a very deep, but also as a positive transformation, through a very negative event, because she had to battle cancer quite at the beginning of their relationship and he had to suffer too, of course, while she was on the edge of life and death. So their relationship made both of them descending into Plutos Underworld and ascending in a matured way. On the other hand, I can say that I rarely find this aspect in relationships which I would consider as healthy. It always depends on how we deal with our personal lessons. If we tend to run away from our own issues, we will run away from the issues in our relationhips too. If we are dealing with our personal issues, it's much more likely that we will face our lessons in our relationships too.

I would be very interested in buying your books, as I love your explanations, and they're soo detailed and in depth. Part of the reason I suggest this is because knowledge on composites is so scarce. I search Amazon, for example, and only find a few things - some of them aren't even worthwhile or accurate. Book stores = nada! Library? Neigh! But the conflicts we encountered were deep seated, at the core issues that were like mountains appearing abruptly. It feels very difficult, as the other person treats you different from the others, it feels like a humiliation, you know that many things about you do not like her, but even if you ask her she will not tell you, and you sometimes feel the contained fury, wanting to throw the stapler in her window. I would assume a cardinal T-square with Pluto in a composite chart would be very difficult. I'm studying a composite chart right now that has Mercury conjunct Moon (same sign not orb), Mercury oppose Sun, and Pluto square Sun, Mercury and Moon. It looks awful and the two people have to work together regularly.

+MsSexyAngel29 You would want to see easy aspects like trine or sextiles coming off of the sun and Pluto. There are the “escape valves” that the tension goes to and potentially becomes constructive.

I have this with an ex-boyfriend of mine. And yes, we did change each other a lot. It might have been because it was such a short thing, or maybe because we both have a strong Saturn in our birth charts (it's also conjunct our Composite Ascendant), but we never got violent with each other. Instead we had long talk about our past and our traumas, and ended up allowing each other to express our dark thoughts in a very calm and supportive environment. We did break up quite soon though, because we clearly wanted different types of relationships, but we have managed to stay friends. Keeping each other in our lives has certainly been difficult and heartbreaking at times, but I feel like we are worth it.
You mention to watch out if this is a product of a square in synastry. What if it is the result of a sun opposite/conjunct pluto double whammy? Does that change how these people handle the energy of this aspect?

We have been divorced for 13 years, he remarried; he lives abroad in the country of this woman. But he always tries to put me in trouble with the law, trying to force them to keep our daughter away from me. He looks so angry at me, and his father encourages him ... I do not know how his current wife saw all these dramas, but 7 years of legal proceedings ... I would be her, I would start thinking ... If I was this dangerous mother, why the judge never ordered to put our daughter in foster care? 7 years that our daughter is forced to go to court to deny the accusations of abuse that her father carries against me ... During those 7 years, he used all he could to discredit me: my skin color (he is Blkanc, I'm Black), the fact that he earns more money than me, while he left by emptying our bank account and we had no news for 1 year. The fact that I had just been diagnosed with thyroid cancer and was no longer working ... In short, I do not know what we still have to work for things to finally subside, but I forgave him for our daughter. In synastry we have Venus trine sun, sun in 7th, Venus in 8th, vertex conjunct sun/mercury, vesta conjunct moon and Juno conjunct ascendant... sorry if that’s a lot of info but after seeing this video I feel the need to fish for some hope.

No. Potentially, a 10-degree square is a binovile (79-81 degrees). 100 degrees has no real distinction in terms of an aspect. 101-104 degrees is a biseptile.

And very true .. We have even pluto Saturn conjunction T square sun / blackmoon lilith (and mercury is somehow bothsided next to sun and to lilith.. Also included in the T square)
We are both scorpio rising.. So same in composite..
I nataly have pluto opposition venus and mercury..
We came together while pluto squared specially my mercury.. Now pluto is exactly at his south node and squares my 0 degree pluto.. Then move to square my 1 degree venus 😌 thru all the pain I distanced already alot (nataly I have moon (8h) opposition uranus (2h) T squared by BLM (4h))

There was a very hostile atmosphere around us. I do admit there were some traits about him I didn't like but as far as I'm aware I was not trying to change him so I used to get really upset and also used to act cold and ignored him when he tried to do so. I would assume a cardinal T-square with Pluto in a composite chart would be very difficult. I'm studying a composite chart right now that has Mercury conjunct Moon (same sign not orb), Mercury oppose Sun, and Pluto square Sun, Mercury and Moon. It looks awful and the two people have to work together regularly.
Hi Jewel, you mentioned very harmonious aspects that might mitigate this or at least not make this a main theme. May I know what they are? So that couples with this aspect don't throw away their relationship because of this one aspect. Thanks!
+MsSexyAngel29 You would want to see easy aspects like trine or sextiles coming off of the sun and Pluto. There are the “escape valves” that the tension goes to and potentially becomes constructive.

I have this with an ex-boyfriend of mine. And yes, we did change each other a lot. It might have been because it was such a short thing, or maybe because we both have a strong Saturn in our birth charts (it's also conjunct our Composite Ascendant), but we never got violent with each other. Instead we had long talk about our past and our traumas, and ended up allowing each other to express our dark thoughts in a very calm and supportive environment. We did break up quite soon though, because we clearly wanted different types of relationships, but we have managed to stay friends. Keeping each other in our lives has certainly been difficult and heartbreaking at times, but I feel like we are worth it.

Do you think this could be overcome with Jupiter in the 12th, sun in 5th, moon in 7th, libra ascendant, Venus trine Pluto in composite ? In synastry we have Venus trine sun, sun in 7th, Venus in 8th, vertex conjunct sun/mercury, vesta conjunct moon and Juno conjunct ascendant... sorry if that’s a lot of info but after seeing this video I feel the need to fish for some hope.
with composites we use an orb of no more than 3-4 degrees. Sextiles No more than 2 degrees.
Sounds depressing. Does it help to also have composite Sun trine Moon, Sun conjunct Venus, and Moon trine Venus to balance this?

No. Potentially, a 10-degree square is a binovile (79-81 degrees). 100 degrees has no real distinction in terms of an aspect. 101-104 degrees is a biseptile.

My partner and I have this, and we also have Pluto trine Venus and Pluto sextile Neptune AND Pluto sextile the ascendant, AND Venus is 1 degree away from the descendant, in the 7th house, with the Jupiter and the north node in the 8th.....as you can imagine, we want to stay together even with all the struggles that come up. Very interesting. Pluto is also square Mars and Mercury. We are one of THOSE couples......lol......
