2 steps forward, one step back isn't a good strategy when you started the race in last place. I can't see the reason why we can't get a track for update 6 along with the fixes. "Fixes" should not be considered a "content" update. Either the track isn't ready or corporate are forcing Turn 10 to withhold content for their "live servic" BS. If Turn 10 came out and said the track wasn't ready, I would still be disappointed, but more understanding. Drip feeding content that's available in the older Forza games and is available in all of Forza's competitions games isn't a winning strategy. They need to release cars and tracks as soon as they are ready and put 100% of their resources into fixing the AI, creating a legitimate career mode, fixing the glitches and bugs, adding more event types like drag and drift, also adding a nonsense gamemode like bowling or infection. This game desperately needs a soul. It feels lifeless compared to othe Forzas and Racers in general. FOMO monthly cars shouldn't be your only motivation to play, especially to a lifelong Forza fan like me.
We need car soccer.
Do what i did. Get a ps5 and gt7. Get a drivehub and Nacon controller so you can use your pc/xbox wheel. If you have a wheel and rig its $750 to play GT7 and its totally worth it. Its much more fun. Only downside is it doesnt work well with ultra wide monitors.
@wellselectric3221 I have a PS5 and GT7. I enjoy it a lot, but I would rather Forza get their crap together because I prefer the overall feel and tuning of Forza. I play GT7 frequently, as in its current state, it does almost everything better than Forza, but I think Forza has so much potential, and it drives me crazy to see it squandered. If Forza had better AI and a legitimate career mode, I would probably never play GT7, and that's not an insult to GT7, I've just grown up playing Forza and have a bias/preference towards it.
FOMO is usually something I struggle with. But with the new Motorsport, it’s not even close to enough to keep me playing. Haven’t even THOUGHT about starting up the game in 2024 yet. And probably won’t until October.

In FH5 we got mostly recycled cars until the car pass was done and then we got way more new cars, it’s very possible they’re doing the same here

I'm not fussed. The cars still look good even if they're recycled (like every car game does). I don't zoom in on cars etc and simply play the game from inside view or chase camera and everything still looks better than previous motorsport games.
You would complain about cars from previous games not being in the new game.
Having to account for the Norschleifes length with fuel and pits for the multiplayer would have required some actual calculations on their part. It took them 6 years to figure out the basic calculations to apply to all of the ones we already have, who knows how long it would take for them to figure it out for the Nordschleife.
(This is me taking a jab at the fact their fuel and tire calculations only work in multiplayer and are ill suited in many ways, and far off of how literally anyone else would do it, much less how its done in real life)
I would love to see fujimi kaido return in Forza Motorsport, it was my favorite Race Track back in Forza Motorsport 4. It was so beautiful

They removed the widebody for the Ferrari because when you'd open up the engine cover in the back, the rear wing would glitch and go with it. Bluetooth connected rear wing
Yea, my guess too but imagine how surprised Ferrari will be to learn that T10 removed the Body Kit but kept the bug. HAH! It still does that now lmao
I think the 458 kit was removed due to a glitch related to the wing assembly being glitched in Forza Vista. Upon opening the engine cover, the wing assembly would rotate and float in mid-air. Unless that was a different Ferrari?
Chances are that the Microsoft layoffs from January might have shaken up Turn 10, so the lack of tracks for the next update is possibly a restructuring in progress.
Still, that is no excuse, as Turn 10 didn't suffer as much as Toys for Bob...
T10 said a while back that tracks wouldn’t be guaranteed every month. Just so happens we’re finally getting a month without a track.
One thing to complain about for this game is how plain it feels without any in game music, remember when Motorsport 4 had drum and bass soundtracks that makes the game go hard when you drift on Fujimi Kaido or pull 0-250 miles per hour on Le Mans
FM4 music was the best for me, even the menu music was some of the best!
Bodykit or not at least they didn't remove the craziest forza wing to date
Nurburgring track shouldn't have those lights, irl it's pitch black basically and in FM it some parts it's like a day time
If they just brought back hosted lobbies like every other Forza game, it would make the game 1000x more fun to play
The problem is... there aren't enough players in the playerbase to make a comprehensive multiplayer with a lot of options work....
It is the same reason why the ranking system seems to be not working..... I mean, the code for it to work will be okay.... but we have so few players that in order to get full lobies, they have to cram about anyone wanting to play in the same lobby... same reason we have a rotation in the classed in open multiplayer.... a shame really... turn10 really messed up with this one.... and this is comming from a long supporter of the series.... all the way back from the OG xbox era :p

I dont see an issue on having an update with no new track... its one month so far that is missed. Every other month we have had a new track. Couldnt say that about their competitors. So not a big deal.
I guess maybe it's just a different perspective on things, but I don't think this game deserves even 1/4 of the hate it's getting. I bought the deluxe edition and don't regret a penny. I feel like if I get 3hrs of good entertainment for $100 nowadays, I've broke even, anything else is a bonus and I must be 30,40,50 hrs into this game. $100 doesn't fill a gas tank, put necessities in a grocery cart, cover a night out for a movie and drink, buy a dinner anywhere with a server. All that stuff is gone a few hours later. To me any tracks, cars, player modes from here on are BONUS, I've more than got my $100 worth the second day it was out.

About the 458: Or maybe, Ferrari didn't like that the body kit completely broke the model of the car and became a standing joke for the past 4 or so months with T10 basically refusing to fix it or simply not caring at all.
Nevertheless, they removed the kit but KEPT the bug, so when you open the trunk it brakes the model...nice
So, random question but, can you add wheel spacers to cars? I’ve been playing on for a little bit now but haven’t seen any upgrades for them. I install a body kit and keep the wheels in the same spot and just looks goofy
Turn10 is getting worse. Nurburgring map it's not that right too
using a RX 580, since update 1.0 -2.0 i racked up about 441 hours of playtime, but since update 3.0 i’ve not been able to launch the game. and update 5.0 just give me an error code ( Unsupported graphics card detected code AP205 ) Failed to create D3D12 Graphics device… can’t even get a refund because i have 441 hours playtime T10 needs to fix this problem
that and i really don't know why they have to make their games 150 gb + now, i get it's not easy to keep the size small but fh4 was i think around 70-80gb, fh5 is 150 and fm8 is even more than that, it's ridiculous cause lower end pcs just shit themselves at the thought of running the games now
fucking hate how big companies see a quick spike of people enjoying an update and IMMEDIATELY lower the quality of updates. I know if these companies actually tried, they could do amazing things, but they just don't, it seems.
Never seen content be removed from a game due to licensing. Thought once it was in the game, it was safe. Weird world we live in…
Not games, but my job involves licensing and it can be crazy. So I'm not surprised if these huge car manufacturers get sensitive over their brand.

The ones from career are not obtainable any way if you missed the series. Other than that you can get them all

i was looking forward to the 458 widebody that i could unlock at level 1 in update 6. it is weird why it got removed as in the licenses for the game, Ferrari must have allowed an LBWK kit and these contracts would last until probably until the next gen consoles of 2028 and beyond. Unless, Ferrari payed Turn 10 to remove the bodykit...

24 hour Nürburgring dedicated lobby is a great suggestion!
I would even suggest to rotate car classes in there: S-GT-Factory-R-P-X
1 hour races and (after) 20 minutes practice give you a 8 hour rotation 3 times a day for diff time zones.
It will also limit the usage to some extend to not to have to worry about other lobbies not being used.
And it will definitely attract "old" and/or other players that have a huge passion for this track.
But the same goes for endurance racing lobbies (with damage please) (Multiclass? would be suburb)
This track could easily fit in a endurance lobby, witch is greatly missed by many (ex) players.
I'm not even mad about n onew track because I'm so excited about being able to upgrade cars right away. 💜

I was disappointed about the 458 bodykit getting removed, but clearly, somehow Ferrari hates to see their cars being modified.
And the devs should do a remodeled cars update if they get the chance, because we know those old cars are long overdue for a proper recapture.
I think they are heading in the right direction, for sure(I wasn't blocked behind an eternal load screen since the updated has been released hahaha finally). I just hope the next update just brings everything together and we can move on, get new tracks and content in general, because this is something that game needs, before everyone is fed up.

Anyone getting a bug with the steering. I’m getting no steering feedback I’ve tried two controllers and a steering wheel set up and nothing. Installed and Uninstalled the game twice and every time I start any race no steering
Still no practice/quali in private multiplayer. Kinda suprising being that its in online multiplayer.
They probably took the other team off their assignment to bring us updates 5 & 6 as soon as possible.

Honestly I don’t care what they do with the game at this point it’s enough to get my racing fix in, but I do want to see more done with the multiplayer particularly with more hardcore modes, maybe some endurance races? Or some type of championship that consists of multiple races?
How is fixing the car progression a big thing to even fix? They've had months to work it out or just make it normal again. Should take a couple of competent people a few days or a week to test it extensively too
SteamDB just listed a DLC release yesterday for Motorsport for 300,000 thats purchasable.

The people who completed the first tour(as me) when the game was firstly realeased, the got the 2020 Acura #6 ARX -05-DPI , so the LITERALLY played hours upon hours JUST to Forza to give it as a GIFT for FREE??

What i still can't grasp my mind around is why in the world T10 had to remove ALL iconic city tracks from FM series, not that there were a lot of them, but in FM4, FM5, FM6 and FM7 we had Fujimi, Praga, Rio and Dubai and also picturesque Bernese Alps. All of them had their own flavor and were very pleasing to the eye with plenty of little details. Instead we have a ton of faceless concrete tracks like Catalunya, Homestead etc. I know they are real and city tracks are not, but so what? It's not like in GT7 we don't have Tokyo expressway which is not real obviously.
p.s. i remember Driveclub and its Vancouver, Brygge etc, i remember Project Gotham racing (from the very same devs who now works in T10 and PG), and just... Sigh.

agree, fm7 had huge emphasis on the accurate water pooling across track models. feel like I haven’t encountered a significant part of a track with water puddles at all

I know people will be bored with me saying this stuff but it's what is killing the game for me track days is what would be good to bring back to the game as there no races on the nordchleife track why not bring it out with track days rather than the track been derelict as such be good with the day night cycle and the variable weather setting

The Removal ofthe bodykit has something to do with the fact thar Ferrary REALLY hate Liberty Walk. They deleted the Liberty Walk F40 out of all books and it is no longer a Ferrari, the Vin does not exist any more. And i can understan them, butchering such a beautiful car shoul be a crime by law

Also noticing the 991.1 Turbo S in the upcoming 911 Showdown when there's no sign of the 992 Turbo S which has been available fr 2021 is a travesty.

Their "performance fixes" have broken the game for me. I can't run more than a single race before I have to exit the application due to high continuous GPU usage (90% as soon as I try to load into the next race and it doesn't go down until I close the application).
Turn10 truly has their JV team on this one.

Game Pass has brought us the worst of gaming. Games are taking longer to make only to be more broken and lacking in features and content. Monthly game pass subscription incentivize padding out progression system and content updates
Yes, you're right this is the Game Pass era content, or should I say shitty content. In October I said "screw your XBOX nonsense, Microsoft" and I built myself a decent PC, so no more monthly subscriptions like Xbox live or whatever they call it now. Steam and the third party resellers are just a breath of fresh air, a better experience for cheaper and I still can play the Forza games I purchased for Xbox on my PC, they're run 10 times prettier and smoother with unlocked FPS and extreme+ graphics settings. I will sell my Xbox (Series S) and I will get 1/4 of the pc price back. It's like day and night experience
I slightly digressed, but the broken status of the new Forza Motorsport motivated me to abandon the Forza Franchise (won't buy any new game/content) and the Xbox consoles
@ph12tech the unfortunate thing about PC is that they no longer get physical releases and split screen
@@falcongamer58 that's true and I agree, but it's becoming the same for the consoles too unfortunately, especially because Microsoft pushes to their subscription model. With Steam I have much more freedom, you can export your games on a flesh drive or a hard disk to another pc and they will work. You can't do that with the games you purchase or download from Microsoft Store. Unfortunately yeah you won't be able to resell them in any case, but I buy games only because I want to keep em. Contrary to Microsoft on Steam you can actually have a refund if you will receive a misleading product because of the false advertising, so for me it's a big win.
Not just that, the Gamepass philosophy is maximize appeal to a broader audience. Gamepass developers care more about accessibility and pandering to the average gamer than their fanbase. Look at Halo, Gears of War, and Forza. All three of these franchises have favored new players over dedicated fans. Forza is stuck somewhere between arcade and simulation, trying to appeal to both audiences, leading serious players to call FM2023 a "simcade" and normies preferring the arcade feel of the Horizon Series. If Forza went all in with simulation, I think the fans would be happier with the game. Halo has always been Mature, but we can't have a Mature game as the face of Gamepass, so they neutered Halo and made it Teen. Gears of War completely lost its identity, and its dev team seems clueless about where to go with the series. Gamepass encourages shallow live service games that try to appeal to everyone, which usually leads to the games appealing to no one.

I think they removed the body kit for the Ferrari 458 bc of the wing bug... thats dissapointing....
They butchered the GT4 RS vehicle Audio, sounds like a higher pitched flat 4 GTS.
Has anyone else got the problem since update 5 that all races with AI enabled take like 4 times as long to load than with update 4?? That and the game stutters in the beginning of every race with AI ..... Never had this problem while I was running the game nearly maxed out at 4k at 120fps... bit of a bummer for me. Running the game on a 7600x on a MSI b650 Tomahawk wifi with 16 gigs 5600 ram paired with a 6950xt...
Edit: Ericship111, to answer the question "is nordshleife built from the ground up?" ... This has allready been proven to be a straight up Lie... The curbs don't line up with reality in a lot of corners, and the track grafiti is obviously copy pasted on certain parts of the track. Still, it feels nice to run and I have been having a lot of fun in rivals mode on it.

They removed instead of fixed the bodykit because it was seriously messed up, when you opened the trunk, lazy asses they could have just fixed it
Nope, PGG confirmed on an Old Livestream (FH4 Era) that Ferrari themselves Demanded that Kit was *never* to appear in a Forza Game again! it should never have been in FM in the first Place!
Bringing in the Nord and not multiplayer support is a half-assed job.
The only thing I have too complain about the new update so far is the grass physics and the lights in the night for the new track that's about it

The track is very unfinished low res tress everywhere and in replays the car floats above the track half the time and drifting in replays looks odd and just wrong. I don't think they have the skill to fix the game

Am I the only one who sees that this is all they're doing thats being called a "Progression overhaul"
Unlocking all the parts at lvl 1 is literally a single line of code, or even more likely, a toggle switch. Adding the car points purchase window is probably a whole 4 hours of development time, From conceptualizing the margins of where it pops up, to the font, to the pricing, to the implementation, Its literally nothing in development terms. Add like a week at most to push it through the "Quality subtracting extrusion" pipeline that updates have to go through over at that circus called Microsoft Games and theres your update.
That body kit was supposed to be removed? The AI still runs it. 😂

Thanks for the latest video Eric great content as usual.I am sick and tired of this mob of useless developers.Every time we go forward 1 step we seem to go back 3,i I cant work these people out.At the end of the day Forza motorsport is a broken game and no matter what they do the trust in their ability to produce a good game is gone.Reintroducing old tracks as new content is just plain bullshit,fixing major issues along the way that should not be their shows the inability of the developers more than anything else.I have tried to go back to the game but its not working.I think that as a gaming community we should not play it for a couple of months to show these developers that we are not happy.Cheers.
