Thanks for the showcase! I put this bike on pre-order at my LBS earlier in the year when they announced it, and it should be in very soon. I like Cannondale and am super loyal to my local shop, so this was by far the best bike I had to choose from in terms of price/spec/performance. I also like basic industrial looking colors so the raw finish suits me just fine. I have one of the last of those first gen Supersixes and paid a little over 3K USD for it when I bought it new in 2016. That bike came with 11 Speed 105 mechanical, aluminum bars, pretty awful Aksium aluminum wheels that eventually broke, and a very heavy, uncomfortable saddle. It was and still is a great bike, and I've taken care of it so it rides great even after nearly 40K miles. While $5500's expensive, by comparison I get a carbon aero wheelset, aero carbon bars, a higher tier groupset, and a decently better saddle, plus actual proper aero tubbing on the frame itself, so at least as far as modern bikes and modern pricing are concerned it's a decently good deal. Also, did you happen to make note of the bar width and stem length included with this size?
I said I would never get another Cannondale, but now here I am respecting the hell out of Cannondale because this is actually a really nice bike. Love the threaded BB!
In Europe this one costs 6799€ and as Hi-Mod 8999€. Compared to a 5499€ Canyon Aeroad SLX with DT Swiss ARC 1400 and a powermeter included. It seems the markets are a bit different. The Cannondale is still a nice bike! A friend rides it 1x with a Classified Hub in the back in teal color. A really nice setup and when your'e riding behind him, you definitely notice that shallow seatpost!

As long as people keep paying these absurd prices, they won't go down. Their profit margins are insane. Bikes that cost as much as cars that have 1000x more components and tech.
Couldn't help themselves, they just had to add a little bit of rainbow glitter paint on the end of the forks. Why? That's so damn tacky. Reminiscent of the corny looking Project One TREK paint schemes out there.

Giant......
I think these prices beat giant
the bike need some color
yea the other color of that bike is a blue and it looks nice
LOL! I bought a carbon frame (rim brake) with any color I wanted from a well known OEM for $650 including shipping from china. My build total will be around $1500. It will be lighter and better than this overpriced gravel bike. IYKYK
So you bought wheels a full group set , handlebars and and seat for $900.
Plastic bikes with disk brakes and internal cables…naaaaah.. still owning first synapse from 2007 that is my first/last plastic horse
They just slapped those handlebars on there because no one runs them, got em cheap. They even have routing for mechanical shifting the holes near the stem. Lazy! Cannonfail
I do not think those bars are cheap we have installed them for a while on bikes and they work great
I just meant they are meant for full mechanical shifting, so basically no use for those holes in them. Which means they were cheap to source some 5 year old handlebars. Also those seem like the wrong type of bars for the people its aimed at. @@GCPerformance18
2ªnd best carbone from canyon same spec....still cheaper
Awesome,swap the tires,decent tires make a huge difference.💯👌🏻🚴♀️✌🏻
Still a total ripoff. My car is worth less than $5k.
alright then yes this is expensive, but this is a high end bike
As long as people keep paying these absurd prices, they won't go down. Their profit margins are insane. Bikes that cost as much as cars that have 1000x more components and tech.
this bike is one of the cheapest bikes with these specs on it
Yet another black bike. Bland, dour, pessimistic.
Couldn't help themselves, they just had to add a little bit of rainbow glitter paint on the end of the forks. Why? That's so damn tacky. Reminiscent of the corny looking Project One TREK paint schemes out there.
lmao it is the trendy thing to do right now
wtf is that price 😂
thast a great price in terms of the industry
Deffenently not for the looks. It's like a plain sheet of paper...
LOL deal...
easy
Why would anyone buy a 17 lb expensive road bike when you can pickup a 15lb or 14 lb road bike for half the price in great condition secondhand unless your a fool wasting money.
Cannonjail. Life behind bars
