I ate 'healthy' foods for years and couldn't lose weight to save my life. I also had a big carb belly protruding. I ate foods like brown bread, brown pasta, brown rice and tons of grains - nada - until 2020, when I discovered this channel and began eating real foods (fatty meat and cruciferous green veg) and incorporated with intermittent fasting, I lost 103 pounds of bodyweight. I also got rid of prediabetes and joint inflammation. I'm into my 5th year now.

Yes - provided you have no allergies, like lactose intolerance, gluten- and fructose allergy, allergy against nuts and eggs. If so, you have to skip all the foods you mention, I immediately get diarrhea if I eat them. The newest problem is that I cannot digest meat any more, no matter wether it is beef or pork. So I have to stick to gluten free products - I am quite aware that gluten-free does not mean healthy, but while doing sports every day, I have to cover my calorie needs; when cycling I burn around 800kcal per hour, and with having 137 lbs at 5.8 ft, there is barey body fat to burn.

From starches like corn and rice flour loaded with carbs to sneaky ingredients like GMOs, seed oils, and refined sugars, it’s clear that these alternatives might be hurting our gut just as much. Thankyou Eric ! After a life of struggling with small intestinal problems more so the last decade, it dawned on me after two what I call bread days, I realised a correlation between eating to much bread and being ill with severe abdominal pain, I found you and went down the no gluten path, I felt 100% better but started getting fatter on gluten free, so I gave up bread aswell, I now feel better than ever before In my entire life, I am 62 and lost count over the years of visiting doctors, never did one suggest going down this road, just tested antibiotics on me without any other suggestions , I've now given up doctors, besides your self, using your guidance and common sense and constant testing individual foods separately I am beginning to thrive, thankyou once again the Great Dr Eric Berg !❤👌👍

Then I decided to eat whole foods. Everything changed. My inflammation, weight and bathroom issues were improved. I’m not perfect. I still enjoy gf cake, cookies or bread a few times a year. Make a habit of NOT eating anything that has any ingredients other than what your aim of product is. Take salt for example. If the container of salt that you aim to purchase doesn’t list “salt” as the sole ingredient then do NOT purchase it. I just learned as of late they have added something that is supposed to prevent clumping among other things.
Train yourself to not consume already made foods! DO NOT WALK the isles of the grocery stores. Make a list of fresh OR CANNED vegetables, fruits, meats, dairy, water, tea perhaps…go directly to those items, check out and get out! View all other food items as poison and see your dollars going to the companies selling it.

My skin broke out in a rash during the first year of the lockdowns, and my doctor said to watch my diet carefully because my blood sugar was getting high. So I did some research and decided to try keto and IF. My skin cleared up, my fatigue reduced, I dropped all the weight that I piled on from stress eating, and my digestive issues quieted down significantly. I must admit that I am not disciplined enough to stick to a strict keto regime because I also want to be able to enjoy a tasty treat once in a while, but the effect of keto and IF are undeniably super beneficial to my health :)

Maybe I'm the canary in the coal mine, maybe these symptoms are common in others with the same cause. But you have a big platform. Please warn others. The common sense solution is change the filter. I follow a Ketogenic/gluten free lifestyle but I never buy anything mention in this video.
If someone it's really following keto never will buy ultra processed foods at all. The problem is that the food industry are adding wheat to everything, even the spices. So, when I buy my spices they have to be certified gluten free.
I was shocked when I noticed that the black pepper I was using has wheat in. I'm reducing the amount of spices in my cooking because pure spices without wheat are more expensive.

I switched to keto a year ago. In addition to that, tried to eat everything as pure as possible (which is impossible these days since all our food is contaminated). Half my diet comes from the garden in the summer. Just got my metabolic panel back! Let’s see. Cholesterol jumped 50 points in one year (total 290!! but triglycerides were 56 and good cholesterol was 87). Fasting blood glucose was 100. So everything is getting worse. I’m going back to eating more fiber and cutting back on red meats. And to level set, I don’t need to lose weight, I am 112 pounds and work out intensely every day.

I'm no longer eating any store bought breads even the "keto" ones really because I know both unfermented rice and wheat for sure cause inflammation since they have recently proven to be triggers for my eczema. Beans and most legumes trigger my ibsd. I'm using these things and other gluten free grains together to make flour for sourdough bread which I make from scratch including making the starter. I kinda use it like tempeh as a added protein. I'm also using some potato's as well which when cooled become resistant starch which the body uses like fiber. I'm steering clear of a lot of things but fit some " trigger foods" for inflammatory conditions I find fermenting negates those effects. Cabbage made into sauerkraut and kimchi for example or beans made into natto, tempeh, and flour for sourdough bread are all great examples. Btw, tempeh can be made with beans aside from soy and also sometimes includes grains like rice. Doing so does create a complete amino acid profile and cuts the carbs.
