    I have to say this is one of the best FlybyWire tutorials on RUclips! The tempo is beautifully set with additional information.
    For a beginner like me it’s a massive thumbs up!
    There is one thing id like to know. A Simbrief tutorial to show where we can get our information to input into the FlybyWire A32NX MCDU, including flex temp and other in-depth calculations. Would be great.
    Keep up the awesome content and this is a definitely a SUBSCRIBE.😊

    Fantastic guide. As a total noob going into FS2020 I was flying the GA planes until now, finally brave enough to try big ones. :) I have watched few FBW A32NX guides, but all of them confused me after while. This one is just perfect. You kept it as simple as it gets, straightforward but just enough informative, without being overwhelming. Excellent job, thank you very much.

    Hi. Very informative stream. the only error or omission I found was you turned on the NAV lights after push back. I worked as a ramp supervisor for ten years. i found the nav lights were usually one of the first items done after battery on. many ground services at my airport were not allowed to approach a totally dark aircraft (needed at least nav lights)!

    Before turning on any power, you should have included a wiper check when first coming up to the Over Head Panel. This may have been pointed out below, but just in case I am mentioning it here. Didn't get any further in the video as it is late here. Didn't want to forget.

    • @TheFlightSimDeck
      @TheFlightSimDeck  3 года назад

      I know I thought of that after. That is a pre-power check for sure. I mean realistically they won’t be on in this sim from cold, but if we’re going to run this aa real as possible that needs to be checked. I’ll annotate it on screen at that point with the text editor.

Being April 2022 have you found issues with AP and VS and various other items ? MCDU no longer has OPTIONS on MCDU MENU.
    Hoping to see these fixed, or discover the MIS USE of the devices by the pilot (me...). I do note that someone commented on DELETEING THE MSFS version of the A320, I will try that I suppose...

    Hi there. I have just installed the A32NX and have noticed that acceleration down the runway on take off seems way to fast. If I compare it with the standard MSFS A320Neo which reaches 140 knots in 23 seconds, the A32NX reaches 140 knots in 17 seconds - is this realistic (I checked to ensure the MFS sim rate was x 1) or am I doing something wrong?

    Hello, I have a problem with the mcdu, in the flight plan when im inserting the arrival star, it dosent show the runway 07L in Hong Kong airport. Another problem with the departure, I cant find the sid implemented in simbreif. Is this a flybywire problem or sim?

  • @DragonPilot
    @DragonPilot 20 дней назад

    OK...nice video, but I don't know how to integrate SIMBRIEF into this cockpit. Also trying to manually enter info into the MCDU and the buttons don't respond. Do I need to run an update? How?

    Great video! I did the same route as you and for whatever reason I have breaks in my flight plan!! Or discontinuities

    • @TheFlightSimDeck
      @TheFlightSimDeck  11 месяцев назад +1

      That’s probably more accurate to how it actually is. It might have those right after a SID ends and transitions to the rest of the route, or sometimes right before the STAR begins and usually before the final runway approach. Just have to clear them as you go or before hand.

    When you push down on the knobs are you using the middle mouse or the left or right mouse button. Everytime I try to press with the middle roller it turns the knob. Sometimes they don't do anything when I click on them. Wondering if its just a bug. Because sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt.

    • @TheFlightSimDeck
      @TheFlightSimDeck  11 месяцев назад

      I use left click. Each knob has two hover points for the mouse cursors. You’ll see the symbol change. One is to push the button and one is to pull.

    Hi there, Fantastic and helpful video.
    Forgive me for ignorance - but i used to fly FSX with the Aerosoft a320 before transitioning over to FS2020 and when setting up the flight, it would calculate (and show) the altitudes (I think what was called VNAV). and it would show where the altitude profile path should be on the descent etc. the CI would just all this.
    Is this function missing entirely from FBY's version?

    • @TheFlightSimDeck
      @TheFlightSimDeck  2 года назад +1

      Thank you! They're still working on it. They had to create the whole process from scratch both the MCDU calculations and how the MFD displays the information.

    Wow, very nice video dude. I LOVE the way you explain everything in such detail. But it would be great if i can fly the A320 in MFS2020 or any plane for that matter. :-( Ever since the 5 update a week ago, my system crashes badly. No matter what i do and I even had a computer tech come to my house and check all my settings and nothing he does makes it so i can fly any plane in MFS2020. :-( It was working 110% perfectly before the 5 update. So I'm back to flying the Tolis A321 in X-Plane 11 for now.

    Where do you find the BARO at 31:15? Is it on the approach sheets?

    • @TheFlightSimDeck
      @TheFlightSimDeck  4 месяца назад

      With Airbus you don't have to include the runway elevation just the minimum number. Most of the time it's 200ft. More rarely it might be higher and that will be noted on the chart too. On Boeing for example, you do need to look at the chart because you need to add 200ft + the runway elevation. So if runway elevation is 114ft then you would add 200ft + 114ft and you would put 314ft for the baro and it will warn you at 200ft that you're at minimums.

      The heading bug needs to be in managed mode. (Hover arrow up then click.) Or there is something wrong on the MCDU legs page.

      Tune the ATIS (Automatic terminal information service) frequency for the airport. If one is not available tune the closest airport with ATIS. 31:08
      Or you can print it in the cockpit, if you know how to read a METAR. From the MCDU. Click the MCDU MENU button, ATSU, AOC MENU, ATIS, Select arrival or departure, then SEND. Return to AOC MENU, Received Messages, click the message, and PRINT. The paper will come out of the printer directly left of the first officer seat. You can then click it and it will place it in front of the throttle.
