Oh my god I had a recolor of this exact toy when I was a kid and I never even knew it could combine with Optimus.

I missed out on this toy in 2006 but always loved the design! I also missed out on the Galaxy Upgrade Optimus Prime from Siege when that came out!
With this being my favourite looking Prime however, on my way to me right now is the Galaxy Upgrade toy!
I never could explain why this clicks with me so much, but the design is just so my jam. And the funny thing is, in super mode especially, he really looks radically different from an Optimus!

I know they are just now bringing back combine gimicks into mainline but it's just jaw dropping seeing some of the combinations they set up across the lines during Unicron Trilogy. The size of those toys and electronics are just jaw dropping. This is like..destroyer mode Optimus prime...lol. These modern transformers are like the equivalent of a backpack or addon to these massive older figures.
Agreed. They were trying some really ambitious stuff back then and it made for some awesome, fun figures!

Aw man this brings back so many memories ! I got this Optimus for Christmas as a kid and was always on the look out for Wing saber. You should get the lion transformer (I forgot his name) the one that turns into his arm

Just so you know, Shapeways sells longer, 3D printed swords for Sonic Wing Mode, that are more show accurate. They only cost 12 bucks.

I'm liking your reviews in the last few days Bert. I'm a big fan of the Cybertron figures. Generations are my mainstay but the cybertron stuff goes with them pretty well considering they're almost ten years older in some cases.
I love Cybertron Prime, he is one of my all time favourite figures, but I've never been able to find Wing Saber for a good price that I can afford.

You'll technically need TWO more Cybertron Primes. One for normal Super Mode & one for Leo Breaker/Leo Prime as an arm combined mode.

Is there a Optimus Prime figure more epic than this? By himself, he has 4-6 different modes, Savage Claw mode with Leo-breaker, Sonic Wing mode with Wing Saber, and he can wield Metroplex’s axe.

Duskbringer Sadly no. The Sonic Wing Mode doesn't allow the room on his back to store away his normal arms in order to make room for Leo Breaker.

Addon question. Would it be possible to make leobreaker one arm and nemesisbreaker as his other arm? So he would have double savage claw mode
@@mr.byggeee2226 You can do Double Savage Claw, but you can't jam Wing Saber with Leobreaker's arm.
for those who want Leobreaker for savage claw mode. The toy combination is way diferent then the show version. In savage claw mode both of Leobreakers legs hang out and Optimus seam to have two huge fingers with claws. Leobreaker and nemisesbreaker just dont work so well as an extra arm as toys.

Leo Breaker forms savage claw mode. The cartoon version is cool but the toy version looks wierd with both legs sticking out like two huge fingers

I have both of these but for some reason they have a different paint job. I had the toys since I can remember and I believe they were my brothers. had no idea they could combine though :O also I never understood why the show had the kibble on the transformers like the toys. the transformations have the kibble too. at least the toys are accurate lol

That's really up to you and how much you have available to spend. I spent about a year and a half hunting for one that was complete and the original blue coloring, at a price I was comfortable with before buying.

I thought they were but have never understood why they get called different names. What is the circumstance for that?

+Jetfire48 Supposedly you can do a combination with prime, wing sabre and leobreaker (even 2 of them, if you like) but you'd have to remove prime's arms completely

Johnreel01 Sorta... Ultra was the middle size class, but the voyager was a downsize from it. Kinda like how the 'Warrior' was a downsize of the Deluxe but stayed at the Deluxe size.
