Sorry, but all the nerdy technobabble and figures don't really get to what you should be talking about. How does this lighter graphite shaft compare to steel shafts? Are the lengths the same or are they +.5? Did they shift the balance point to create a more balanced feel or does the clubhead feel heavier because of the lighter shaft? Has the swing weight changed and, if so, how does it impact feel and performance versus steel shafts? You somewhat tackled the topic through some technobabble, but how stable is the shaft on off-center hits, and more importantly, how does it feel compared to steel on misses? Finally, does this feel and perform so much better than steel that it is worth making the switch? Those are the things most of us want to know.
I’m curious which one I should get for my 4 iron (currently it’s a 82 gram shaft) my 5-gap is 98 grams. So I wanna go down progressively (but don’t know if I should get 75-85 gram weighted shaft for the 4 iron) My hybrid is 80 gram shaft 5 iron is 98 ish. Trying to get something in-between but not sure. (Need height so the black stands out with a higher launch)
What do you think about tour AD 75 in stiff? Would it fit your type of swing also? Or do you think that range is more for slower swing speeds? I generally play 6.0 stiff shafts in steel? ~115 grams.
What do you think of this shaft in a one length 3 driving iron? Do you think it could hold up to a more aggressive tee shot swing? Nothing against the UST Mamiya Recoil 95 or 110 just exploring my options. Love the review.
Would this same shaft weight and s- stiffness be good for a slightly slower swing speed
It could be. Graphite Design irons can tend to feel a bit stiff. Have you tried UST Mamiya Recoil Dart?
Dan, what weight steel shaft do you use in your irons?
Good video, Dan. Graphite Design shafts always look sharp, and it's nice to hear your thoughts on stability considering your move.
How do theese compare to the kinetixx ballistic shafts? 😊
Just got a regular 65 will match it with JGR japan bridgstone strong lofted heads. Dont know if it will match..

Sounds like you should setup a studio and do your own reviews. 😂😂😀
@@THPGOLF Gladly...when will you be sending me the camera to help me get things started? Lol.

you may be okay where you are. Does it feel right?
How do you compare Tour AD with the MMT both I. 95 stiff flex? Thanks
Pretty different shafts. There is definitely a feel element there that will be pretty subjective.
What about performance? Not sure if you hit the MMT but which one you prefer?

Its possible, because these are fairly firm, but that would be a pretty big weight jump from what Dan is used to playing.
Hi wads e difference between.this compares to the tour ad di hybrid shaft
Profile is a bit different. You are going to have a pretty different feel through the transition.
@@THPGOLF thanks

Yes it could hold up
Holy crap that is like the ultimate man cave. I wouldn't leave.
how do you think they would do in a wedge
Slightly stout to flex but pretty darn good.
What are these going to cost ya for a set of 4-pw
They won't be inexpensive, somewhere around $95 a shaft individually
So little into shared...
