My favorite technique is action initiation to help the client create their path to move forward!

I loved when she said" Don't make this harder on yourself, you have everything you need." Challenging her to go deeper.

Technique #1 NVC (observation, feelings, needs, request) ; #2 Effective Communication tools creating a safe space; #3 assertive reflection (make them more self aware, not self conscious) ;#4 Action initiation (what do you need in order to solve this problem- client creates the game plan) ; #5 DISC to identify personality profile and customize approach; #6 summarizing and paraphrasing; I may or not have included all details, but the key phrase helps me remember the concepts.
Omigosh, I love them all, and I love how the information, techniques, and person-specific-insight are woven in so smoothly. Loving the compassionate coaching and helping the client move toward even better results.

Loved this! Thank you so much 💜💜
By the way if you’re interested I did a rough transcript for those who want to break it down slowly. Feedback welcome 🙏 Here it is:
What’s most alive for you today
I feel like I need to let go of a relationship we are currently off
And how’s that’s feeling for you
    Good.
And are you feeling there’s a particular need getting met under that
    Umm..yeah. Self care. Integrity.
Ah! Great. So you were feeling out of integrity by being ‘on’ with him
    Yes
Got it. So what feels out of integrity when you’re with him.
Not caring for myself and not being treated the way I know I deserve. But when I’m with him there is something deep within me that allows it to happen. My standards are incredibly low but when I’m there execution can sometimes fall apart for me.
Mhm. It can for a lot of people. You are not alone in that. Because we only ever do things because there’s a payoff. There’s a need getting met
    Yep.
So what need is being met when you’re with him.
    Validation maybe? Safety?
Self connection I heard you say. Self connection. Tapping into your feelings.
    Mhm.
Can you dedicate that hour or even a half hour to a practice that has you doing that?
    Definitely.
Do you have a current practice.
I flirt with many. But I don’t do any consistently. It’s not meeting the need
Can I reflect something back to you?
    Yes.
So I’m noticing a pattern that you say I’m looking to others to essentially tell me what to do.
    Yeah
Same pattern as when you are looking to him to tell you what to do
    Yeh
You’re looking to him to fill the hole.
    Mhm.
You’re saying ‘can you do it for me?’ It’s unconscious but it’s happening at the body level.
    Yes
But I feel like you can fill this hole yourself. Because it’s my belief personally that you have everything you need. You have all the information, tools, access you need. We just have to peel back all the programming and reveal our magnificence. I feel this is a huge piece of this - you actually going ‘let me check in here (body), let me tune in here (body),first and foremost even before your car ride where you’re taking in amazing content. Have your own foundation first. So what do you think your practice could be in that?
I really like setting intentions for the day. There’s a course I’m doing where ..............but when I really think about what do I need....
    That’s the question!
    .....................
So what could the practice be?
    Um,.......
Don’t make this more difficult. The answer is right there. The question is ‘what do I need?’ What’s the practice?
The answer that came into my head was ‘what do I need today?’
Exactly. That’s it. Because every day the answer is going to be different.
How am I going to serve myself today. Ooh! I’ve never thought about serving myself. It’s always been about other people.
Yep. (Nods) and I think that is where you start. Getting into a relationship with yourself. Sometimes the answer is gonna be about self care.
    --
Alexi shares the disc profile. Identifies Hannah as steady dominant. Steady requires assurance. And that’s what Hannah’s been getting within the relationship with this man. Dominant shows up at work. Where she gets things done but has no time for connection. The steady keeps her going back to a bad relationship.
    ---
How do you feel about scheduling into your phone the daily time for self reflection
    Great that’s what I need
Ok great and who are you reaching out to for support
    My friend Jody
Ok and what are your two requests from her
Am i doing the practice and am I walking away permanently from the relationship that doesn’t serve me
Perfect and let’s acknowledge and face off with the steady who likes to go back. So I want to give you a sixty day challenge where you calendarise a date in your phone sixty days from now. Do a deep dive in sixty days and ask yourself how am I feeling about my commitment to myself, do I feel like I am fulfilling my commitment to myself.
    -
Ajit then suggests the coach then asks the client to summarise key learnings from the session.

My favourite part was when she tasked Hannah to do one thing consistently for 60 days. And also that she didn’t impose something on Hannah, rather that Hannah came up with something herself
