While Spider-Man’s prep time would still be valuable I don’t know how efficient it would be compared to Batman’s, Batman has a supercomputer and billions of dollars to use, Batman also wouldn’t have to try as hard for his prep time, seeing as he needs and has contingency plans for the justice league owning suits such as the justice buster

Additionally when people say 'Prep Time' they never seem to know what that means. Sure, prep-time vs Superman means use of kryptonite. But what's prep time against Spider-Man? If you cannot logically come up with a believable way for Batman (as a writer - since they created all these feats), then Batman cannot make those preparations How to you find out about Spider-sense? How do you then figure out how to stop it? For someone with the combination of speed & strength as Spider-Man, the only chance Batman has is to stop/trap him before Spider-Man's aware of the fight. Once Spidey's aware of the threat, even some superhumans aren't going to be able to move/react quick enough to avoid him. And it's an Instant KO. It is not close.
@christianrapper yeah I never fully vibed with the idea of Bats being able to keep up with superman in this regard - but I get it; he's one of DC's most popular heroes, so you want him to keep up with the best. Fortunately for them, things like Kryptonite are just within the range of believability, seeing as how it's worked on him before. The main principle here though, is a lot of DC heroes have one very potent, known, and accessible weakness that helps even the odds. But Spider-Man's got an assortment of separate advantages that work together - remove one advantage, the others will still wipe you out
Thing is, There are a lot of ways to remove Spidey sense from the Equation, it is very close, Batman Has defeated stronger people, he has better Feats, I’m tired of people saying The Fight is not close Purely based off of Spider-Man’s Strength and Speed, These Play a Factor, but there are other factors at play here, Batman Much Smarter than Spider-Man and it’s not even remotely close, He’s more skilled, he better at using resources at his disposal, If Strength And The “Spider Sense” and “he holds back” is the only argument you have, then Batman is going to use those things to his advantage.

The biggest thing about Batman that butthurt fans ignore is that BATMAN IS ONLY HUMAN. That's it. He's only survived to this point due to plot convenience and the writers. Prep-time isn't enough as Batman can make errors in judgement. Also, it's not the first time that Spider-Man has faced a foe that has gadgets and made plans against him. Green Goblin and Hobgoblin are prime examples. Spider-Man wins. End of story.

To all the batman fans: context is ALWAYS good for your feats! When Batman stabbed Reverse Flash's foot..this still did no damage to the reverse flash, and Reverse Flash was standing still. Reverse Flash still packed Batman up and killed him. And Batman has quoted multiple timss that Superman can easily blitz him but Superman doesn't want to. Plus, the plot protects Batman as well.
In the Arkham games batman defeats his rogues gallery And an entire army of tanks and drones In one night with NO PREP TIME... Spiderman doesnt really have anything that Batman's not already prepared for.

Even with prep time, Spider-Man has the perfect counter to that: his wit. Peter has on multiple occasions thought on his feet and overcome enemies or machines specifically designed and prepared to beat him and negate his abilities (great example being spiderslayers or Kraven and technically Venom.) Whatever mech suit Bruce puts on, Peter's going to find a way to rip it off of him. Also you just can't prep for spider sense. Spider-Man is the rock and Batman is the scissors (and Superman I guess is the paper :P)

I think the one thing that Spider-Man just can’t account for is Anti-Venom. I don’t know if Anti-Venom registers on his Spider-Sense (in the original appearance he had no Spider-Sense at the time and Anti-Venom also wasn’t posing a threat). And he sucks the radiation out of his body taking away his powers
Spider-Man has also taken on the Avengers twice. Though one could argue that Batman could figure out some counter against his spidey sense, that was Stark who did it by analyzing how it worked through the Iron Spider suit. Even the Venom symbiote had to shut it off once because it went off in Peter's sleep as the symbiote was about to take his body for a joy ride
The reason characters in Marvel know about Spider-Sense is literally cause Peter tells em or he opens up to them about it. He literally did not know that tony and the symbiote where basically working behind his back but after the events of Civil War he’s not making that mistake again so Baman ain’t figuring it out.

Spidey does not have to be bloodlusted in a random encounter to beat Batman, Nightwing, Green Arrow, Question, Steel, Cyborg, Hawkeye, Hawk Girl, Hawkman, Savage Dragon, Black Widow, Black Panther, Invincible Girl, Super Dinosaur, Firestorm, Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, Professor X, Nightcrawler, Deadpool, Black Cat, Wild Cat, Catwoman, Quicksilver, The Thing, Daredevil, Elektra Natchios, The Punisher, Blade, Black Canary, Captain America, and many others just not joking around either no one liners and jokes just being focused enough to either tire them, web them up, battle field remove them, or KO them yeah.
Wolverine has that whole "I am an immortal ronin descending through time acquiring the martial powers of every culture I pass through" thing but despite that and basically being peak human + indestructible for most intenys and purposes there have been several matchups where its basically impossible for him to lay a finger on Spidey. Spidey is just that strong and fast. Superstrength + low body mass + reaction time under zero seconds makes it basically impossible for a physically normal human to punch spiderman, no matter how good at punching they are. That being said, feat measuring is dumb and you could hardly think of a fight to which Stan Lee's explanaition of who would win is more appropriate.

Batman doesn’t need prep time, his prep time is during the fight. If you’ve played Arkham Knight you know he’s able to find out weaknesses and strengths with seconds, he will know very quickly that Spider-Man has a sense that is able to predict moves before they happen, knowing Batman he probably has something that can set off false brain signals or he can throw something to distract Spideys brain, and land a fatal punch right where the nerve points are.
Actually Spider-Man’s spidersense doesn’t work like that. He just senses danger, but he doesnt know what that danger is until he sees it, and it can be tricked or even turned off. But with no prep-time, I think Spiderman takes it
Actually it does even knocked out his body dodges out of the way meaning it is full precognition. It also auto corrects his aim mid swing when he's not looking where he's shooting his webs. Again that is full precognition and adaptive reaction. It even alerts him when he's being watched by cameras or motion sensors. Honestly if Spidey were to train some more he would be the stealthiest most dangerous assassin in the world.
That is simply not true he has fought blindfolded against people who use illusions and hallucinations, completely relaying on his spider sense. He does not see the attack. The only thing with it is that he needs to be fast enough to react to the attack. Unfortunately, there isn't a circumstance where batman wins. Hope that clears up the air

I might’ve been off about the spider-sense needing sight as well, but I know the spider-sense can be tricked because I’ve seen members of his rogues gallery trick the spider-sense in the past. If Batman was able to observe a fight between venom and spidey, then he could probably take a sample of the symbiote or scan it or something to that effect and figure out how to trick the spidey-sense into not going off. And it’s definitely something he would do because Batman never goes into a fight unprepared if he can help it

Batman might’ve fought insane godlike figures, and Spider-Man has literally hopped dimensions and fought wars with multiverse versions of himself. He is a center-stone for an entire series of multiverses and different Spider-Man. 4. Spidey-Sense might not be all that you think it is. 5. Spider-Man holds back with everything his does. From fighting gigantic foes to turning a doorknob, it is a struggle to maintain and hold himself back. 6. They are both intelligent, and have gadgets along with lots of strength. Spidey has faster regeneration, speed, etc… 7. There are existing ways to outsmart Spider-Sense, or to trick it into some capacity. 8. Peter could probably figure out Batman’s identity, and vice versa.

He can REACT at a speed approaching light considering he dodges lightning bolts on the regular thanks to Electro, but his actual body is nowhere near that fast. Though that isn't to say he's slow (He's probably the closest to a speedster you can get without actually being a speedster) but he's definitely not breaking the sound barrier or reaching lightspeed on a normal day.
Not exactly. Batman has been in many more fights and gained more experience. Batman has 127 fighting styles he mastered and knows every part of the body to use nerve strikes. He also has many weapons that can effect and knock out Spider Man such as gas bombs and ultra sonics and explosive batterangs. Spider Man despite his senses has been beaten badly on by the Kingpin and Hobgoblin who are both no where near Batmans superior skill and smarts And we cant forget Batmans many armored suits that foes such as Superman and Darksied struggled against. A half powered Superman is still 50 times more powerful then what Spider Man can do Batman also managed to deduce the weaknesses of each member of the justice league should they ever go rouge. Here's why Batman would really win this. Taking into account batman can hold his own against Superman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman and cyborg. (Either individually or all together at the same time) Also when Batman fought against Superman in Dark Knight returns part 1. He fought against him head on for a long period of time without kryptonite. Batman has fought the Predator several times and won. Batman has beat the Hulk. Batman has fought against Shredder and won. Even in Justice league movie, Batman took out some para demons. Think about most of the enemies in Batman's own universe that he has beaten, sometimes without prep time. Rhaz al Ghul for instance, someone who helped train batman, but also has lived for centuries, Even in Gotham TV Series, Bruce beat Rhaz and that was at 17 / 18 years old. Batman has beaten Bane on venom who when powered up can get electrocuted and still fight. An even run straight through walls. Batman has beaten Darkseid as well. Not all of his fights need preptime either. He is incredibly creative and analyzed while he fights. Peter Parker Spiderman has been cut and even badly injured by slower attacks than the lasers mentioned in this video. Hobgoblin has used proximity grenades and spinning blades that have caught him while he was relying on spidey sense. Also in wet enclosed tunnels, where there isn't much room to maneuver, (Spiderman VS Lizard) his Spidey sense is kind of useless, because he can't dodge everything, due to barely any room to move and loose footing on wet surfaces. Given those two above weaknesses, Bruce could easily lure Spiderman into an enclosed space as they fight, create a lot of batarang launchers, nets and other projectiles to go off in peters direction,, firing in close intervals, so at least some are going to get him, while he is dodging previous things. Then Grappling hook and punch him and even focus on weak parts of his human body. Plus Batman always carries a wide range of things for any occasion. Electricutionors gloves Freeze grenades. Batarangs. Torches. Sleeping gas and a lot of other gizmos. Batman is one of the smartest people in the entire DC universe. And will overthink every strategy to best his opponent. On top of that he can have additional things airdropped in, due to a constant contact with Alfred... So if he needs anything, he can have it dropped in. Bruce also has remote controls for his batmobile, batplane. Which he can use as decoys or assistance. Batman will win this fight regardless of Spidey sense. Case closed

Listen, I agree with the outcome that Spider-Man does speedblizt and one shot but you rlly downplayed both characters Lowkey. The Quakemaster feat isn't "high building level" it's actually much higher than that, the earthquake Quakemaster was causing was easily at the magnitude 8 range which would be City level. Spider-Man is also far higher than Town, regular Streets can reach City-Mountain level of AP. Also that Doc Ock durability feat was Calced at Large Island btw.
Spiderman wins, but that does not imply in the slightest way that Batman isn't something in any way. Obviously, matching human (peak human) with someone that has insanely advanced biology, it's no surprise that Batman would lose. But if you would compare them in other aspects, maybe Batman could win.
I love Batman much more than spider man, but unless spider man is having a bad day and his spider sense is off it won’t be close at ALL. He can hold back like normal but no matter what you through at him he will just weave.

The thing with these sorts of battles is people keep giving Batman an unfair and illogical advantage. That is, knowing all of Spider-man's powers and exact abilities and how they work. In his own universe, people only know about his spidersense because he told them about it. If he gets prep time, Batman won't know about spidersense.

Batman has one-shotted bane and deathstroke, deathstroke is the guy who was able to go toe to toe with aquaman and throw submarines on him. Personally, I get the sense that in this type of fight, Spiderman would underestimate Batman. Also, I feel Batman would find a way to counteract the spider-sense, or at least subvert it. Not to say Batman would win in an all out fight, I think Spiderman would too. I just think it's a closer fight than people think.
you do not counteract a spider sense. It's either magically gone or peter is too focused on saving someone to dodge. So unless batman takes hostages, he's doomed. I think most people think spider-man in general is cocky because of how often he jokes around. But like wise batman will think of him as a less insane joker. That being said, spider sense is more than just a danger sense, anything batman throws at him will be dodged no matter how much he tries to subvert it. And how would he even? Batfleck can analyze spidermans weaknesses and strengths from afar to come up with counters to every ability spiderman has. Now, if spiderman also gets prep time, he'll also be able to crush Batman without much effort, however, this is Batman. Batman is known to take down beings above him, even without prep time. Batman has tons of gadgets, skills, equipment, resources to pull from to defeat many different types of foes. So, what are Spiderman's weaknesses? He can get tricked and trapped, that's all Batman really needs to take him down. Spiderman could just punch Batman a few times, Batman is done. I think this match would be closer than people think, but I think Batman would come out on top, he's more brutal and efficient than spiderman, and yes, Batman is smarter.

I think batman would win. In a "realistic" battle, the first meeting would have both heroes holding back, with neither wanting to hurt the other seriously, especially spidey. That being said, spidey would outclass batman, but batman would retreat using smoke bombs or whatever other bat bs he's got. And yes he would escape spidey. He regularly sneaks away from superman. Few mistakes, being able to react to light speed attacks don't really make you light speed, several characters that are much slower than both Parker and Bruce have done similar, its usually just very very good aim dodging and varying degrees of peak human-superhuman speed Neither Bruce or Parker ARE light speed in movement or combat speed but they CAN aim dodge light speed attacks, parker is just MUCH better at it.
I’m pretty sure Spider-Man is one of the smartest humans in the Marvel universe. He literally has a higher IQ then Einstein and the person with the real highest IQ. He also has super strength, experience with fighting well seasoned martial arts experts like Taskmaster, and if we’re going by the PS4 universe he has gadgets that could easily rival Batman’s. Spider-Man would without a doubt beat Batman.

Yeah, I don't care what the comicbooks say, everything I believe in is from Animated series and Movies and Spiderman has never lifted up Buildings or jumped at light speed. So... my answer is: I don't care. Batman would not even fight Spiderman without learning everything about him thus allowing him more time to create a plan. Spiderman might be able to use his spider sense to avoid direct attacks, he can't avoid spread damage like toxic gas, sound attacks or hlinding light attacks from flash grenades. Batman also has cars, jets, and motorcycles to ensure his escape as well as engineering, hacking skills and mentalist training to get in someone's head without them even noticing.

Most of these godlike beings either have 1 main power or a very potent weakness. Each tool he has is tailored to the threat, and there may be little to no carryover between them. Spider-Man is not the best in any one area (except reaction time), but is very high in all of them. There's little you can do to defend or prepare for that. It would be one of the hardest fights of his life, and that's if Spidey ISN'T trying to kill. Fortunately they'd probably get along well enough and see that they're both on the same side fairly quickly.

Batman would realize he’s no match for Spider-Man, and likely attempt to retreat. This is assuming Batman even sees Spider-Man as a threat, which seems unlikely.

Its a myth Batman needs prep time. He is allready prepared thats his thing. Having no prep or familiarity is a plus for Bruce not Peter. Because they both have differing styles and powers that make them unsuitable adversaries. Spider man agility, quickness, and web shooting make him more suited to close combat and Batman martial arts skills and use of gadgets make him more effective from a distance.
I disagree. First, Batman's martial arts are for punching and kicking and throwing people, which is hard to do from a distance. And his gadgets mostly operate from a similar range to Spiderman's webbing. They're actually similar fighters in a way--both use agility plus hitting people plus some extras that give them range and tactical options. And the fact is that Spiderman has more agility, can hit people much harder, has comparable extras, and then adds in a truly ridiculous ability to avoid attacks. So they're good at similar things, and Spidey is, well, much better at most of those things. There's a reason Batman uses stealth and surprise to avoid being shot, while Spiderman just dodges the bullets.

How to you find out about Spider-sense? How do you then figure out how to stop it?
For someone with the combination of speed & strength as Spider-Man, the only chance Batman has is to stop/trap him before Spider-Man's aware of the fight. Once Spidey's aware of the threat, even some superhumans aren't going to be able to move/react quick enough to avoid him. And it's an Instant KO. It is not close.

Fortunately for them, things like Kryptonite are just within the range of believability, seeing as how it's worked on him before.

I think the one thing that Spider-Man just can’t account for is Anti-Venom. Though one could argue that Batman could figure out some counter against his spidey sense, that was Stark who did it by analyzing how it worked through the Iron Spider suit. Even the Venom symbiote had to shut it off once because it went off in Peter's sleep as the symbiote was about to take his body for a joy ride
The reason characters in Marvel know about Spider-Sense is literally cause Peter tells em or he opens up to them about it. Wolverine has that whole "I am an immortal ronin descending through time acquiring the martial powers of every culture I pass through" thing but despite that and basically being peak human + indestructible for most intenys and purposes there have been several matchups where its basically impossible for him to lay a finger on Spidey. Spidey is just that strong and fast.
Superstrength + low body mass + reaction time under zero seconds makes it basically impossible for a physically normal human to punch spiderman, no matter how good at punching they are.

If you’ve played Arkham Knight you know he’s able to find out weaknesses and strengths with seconds, he will know very quickly that Spider-Man has a sense that is able to predict moves before they happen, knowing Batman he probably has something that can set off false brain signals or he can throw something to distract Spideys brain, and land a fatal punch right where the nerve points are.

Actually Spider-Man’s spidersense doesn’t work like that. He just senses danger, but he doesnt know what that danger is until he sees it, and it can be tricked or even turned off. But with no prep-time, I think Spiderman takes it

Actually it does even knocked out his body dodges out of the way meaning it is full precognition. It also auto corrects his aim mid swing when he's not looking where he's shooting his webs. Again that is full precognition and adaptive reaction. It even alerts him when he's being watched by cameras or motion sensors. Honestly if Spidey were to train some more he would be the stealthiest most dangerous assassin in the world.
That is simply not true he has fought blindfolded against people who use illusions and hallucinations, completely relaying on his spider sense. He does not see the attack. The only thing with it is that he needs to be fast enough to react to the attack. Unfortunately, there isn't a circumstance where batman wins. Hope that clears up the air

I might’ve been off about the spider-sense needing sight as well, but I know the spider-sense can be tricked because I’ve seen members of his rogues gallery trick the spider-sense in the past. If Batman was able to observe a fight between venom and spidey, then he could probably take a sample of the symbiote or scan it or something to that effect and figure out how to trick the spidey-sense into not going off. And it’s definitely something he would do because Batman never goes into a fight unprepared if he can help it

4. Spidey-Sense might not be all that you think it is.
5. Spider-Man holds back with everything his does. From fighting gigantic foes to turning a doorknob, it is a struggle to maintain and hold himself back.
6. They are both intelligent, and have gadgets along with lots of strength. Spidey has faster regeneration, speed, etc…
7. There are existing ways to outsmart Spider-Sense, or to trick it into some capacity.
8. Peter could probably figure out Batman’s identity, and vice versa.

He can REACT at a speed approaching light considering he dodges lightning bolts on the regular thanks to Electro, but his actual body is nowhere near that fast. Though that isn't to say he's slow (He's probably the closest to a speedster you can get without actually being a speedster) but he's definitely not breaking the sound barrier or reaching lightspeed on a normal day.

Spider Man despite his senses has been beaten badly on by the Kingpin and Hobgoblin who are both no where near Batmans superior skill and smarts

Also in wet enclosed tunnels, where there isn't much room to maneuver, (Spiderman VS Lizard) his Spidey sense is kind of useless, because he can't dodge everything, due to barely any room to move and loose footing on wet surfaces.
Given those two above weaknesses, Bruce could easily lure Spiderman into an enclosed space as they fight, create a lot of batarang launchers, nets and other projectiles to go off in peters direction,, firing in close intervals, so at least some are going to get him, while he is dodging previous things.
Then Grappling hook and punch him and even focus on weak parts of his human body.
Plus Batman always carries a wide range of things for any occasion.

Freeze grenades.
Batarangs.
Torches.

Listen, I agree with the outcome that Spider-Man does speedblizt and one shot but you rlly downplayed both characters Lowkey. The Quakemaster feat isn't "high building level" it's actually much higher than that, the earthquake Quakemaster was causing was easily at the magnitude 8 range which would be City level. Spider-Man is also far higher than Town, regular Streets can reach City-Mountain level of AP. Also that Doc Ock durability feat was Calced at Large Island btw.

The thing with these sorts of battles is people keep giving Batman an unfair and illogical advantage. That is, knowing all of Spider-man's powers and exact abilities and how they work. In his own universe, people only know about his spidersense because he told them about it. If he gets prep time, Batman won't know about spidersense.

Personally, I get the sense that in this type of fight, Spiderman would underestimate Batman. Also, I feel Batman would find a way to counteract the spider-sense, or at least subvert it.

you do not counteract a spider sense. It's either magically gone or peter is too focused on saving someone to dodge. So unless batman takes hostages, he's doomed. I think most people think spider-man in general is cocky because of how often he jokes around. But like wise batman will think of him as a less insane joker. I think batman would win. In a "realistic" battle, the first meeting would have both heroes holding back, with neither wanting to hurt the other seriously, especially spidey. That being said, spidey would outclass batman, but batman would retreat using smoke bombs or whatever other bat bs he's got. And yes he would escape spidey. He regularly sneaks away from superman. He'd spend the next few days and nights studying spiderman and seeing his weaknesses and coming up with a plan. Then batman would come back and ambush him and incapacitate him. Spidey is regularly shown to be easily distracted, and has been ambushed by many of his rogues and incapacitated. In a stragith up fight 8/10 times spidey would win. But in a comic accurate depiction of both I think batman would have the edge

Few mistakes, being able to react to light speed attacks don't really make you light speed, several characters that are much slower than both Parker and Bruce have done similar, its usually just very very good aim dodging and varying degrees of peak human-superhuman speed
Neither Bruce or Parker ARE light speed in movement or combat speed but they CAN aim dodge light speed attacks, parker is just MUCH better at it.

I’m pretty sure Spider-Man is one of the smartest humans in the Marvel universe. He literally has a higher IQ then Einstein and the person with the real highest IQ. He also has super strength, experience with fighting well seasoned martial arts experts like Taskmaster, and if we’re going by the PS4 universe he has gadgets that could easily rival Batman’s. Spider-Man would without a doubt beat Batman.

Yeah, I don't care what the comicbooks say, everything I believe in is from Animated series and Movies and Spiderman has never lifted up Buildings or jumped at light speed.
So... my answer is: I don't care.
Batman would not even fight Spiderman without learning everything about him thus allowing him more time to create a plan.
Spiderman might be able to use his spider sense to avoid direct attacks, he can't avoid spread damage like toxic gas, sound attacks or hlinding light attacks from flash grenades.
Batman also has cars, jets, and motorcycles to ensure his escape as well as engineering, hacking skills and mentalist training to get in someone's head without them even noticing.
I see both arguments Batman goes up against god like beings on the regular but when he’s just street level he fights the insane except a some exceptions Spider-Man fights super powered people no matter what and he’s also very smart but I don’t think he is as smart as Batman and also he doesn’t think like him Batman with prep will prepare for everything especially if he knows what Spider-Man can fully do but that’s the only way Batman can beat him.

Its a myth Batman needs prep time. He is allready prepared thats his thing. Having no prep or familiarity is a plus for Bruce not Peter. Peters skills are quickly analysible as they are obvious, Bruces arnt and that would be fatal for Peter against Batman. Peter has one chance and thats to go hard enough to knock Bruce out fitst hit but that wont happen as thats not Peter. Batman is like a walking battle computer. Your analysed then neautralised. Its a bit narrowminded to think Batman hasnt fought faster/stronger opponents before. A lot of his opponents are this and Peter would go down just the same. There are very simple incapacitating methods that Peter isnt imumune to. If this was two naked guys fighting 😂 Peter would win but it isnt. If this was a crazed killing machine Peter he would win but it isnt. If, If, ifs dont matter and if you start adding ifs into the argument that gives Bruce much more of an advantage not Peter. Peter has to be something hes not to win this and Bruce doesnt. TBH i dont think this is a particulary difficut fight for Bruce. Peter has a narrow window then hes done. It wouldnt be a slug fest, Peters ability for mobility would be quickly neautralised, His web slingers arnt even a threat, even a weakness as he is heavily relient on them for his ranged mobility and offence. Because they both have differing styles and powers that make them unsuitable adversaries. Spider man agility, quickness, and web shooting make him more suited to close combat and Batman martial arts skills and use of gadgets make him more effective from a distance.
I disagree. First, Batman's martial arts are for punching and kicking and throwing people, which is hard to do from a distance. And his gadgets mostly operate from a similar range to Spiderman's webbing. They're actually similar fighters in a way--both use agility plus hitting people plus some extras that give them range and tactical options. And the fact is that Spiderman has more agility, can hit people much harder, has comparable extras, and then adds in a truly ridiculous ability to avoid attacks. So they're good at similar things, and Spidey is, well, much better at most of those things. There's a reason Batman uses stealth and surprise to avoid being shot, while Spiderman just dodges the bullets.
