Batman, even with all his tech and martial arts and intelligence, would not defeat the avengers or avengers level threat. Spiderman has defeated the avengers (twice or more) and avengers level threat like it was a normal Tuesday. // Alright, lets ADD prep time to Batman VS Spiderman, yeah? - situation one Batman knows about Spidey before Spidey does and sees him as a threat. So, he does his little 24-hour research binge and now knows spidey's acrobatic fighting style, reflexes, and real identity. Naturally, Batman would create a paralytic venom for meta-level immune systems cuz he'd assume Spidey is a meta. Or at least have the imune system to fight off normal doses. Then, since Batsy is a "no-kill-just-maime" kinda guy, he'd probably get meta-restraining chains and room and stuff cuz he KNOWS he cant physically win a fight agaisnt Spidey. Now the confusing part ... (Scenario 1) Batman tries to dart Spidey from a distance, only issue with that is Batman IS a dangerous presence so Spidey most likely already knew he was there. Then he'd most definitely get a Spidey sense on the dart, even if the venom didn't work against him, and now know for sure that Batman is looking for a fight. (Scenario 2) Batman uses a gas, again, Spidey probably knows bats is already there, but knowing spiderman's paranoia, he'd probably swing away once he realizes its a gas thats working on him (if it does). (Scenario 3) Batman approaches Spidey through Peter Parker, and threatens him and/or family. Which, as Kingpin knows, is a horrible, HORRIBLE idea. I think we all know what happens in this but, lets go through it anyway. Alright, Peter probably approaches Batman after a night of research at Wayne Tower to "talk" with Bruce Wayne, and as we've seen, Brucie's got some kinda inferiority complex with his own alternate identity, believing that Bruce Wayne CANNOT do what the Bat does. While Scenario 3 ends with a definite Spidey win either through brutal violence or just intimidation warning, Scenario 1 & 2 are left open ended. (Scenario 1 conti.) With Spidey aware that Batman has it out for him, he'd either approach Batman with peaceful negotiation and most likely, the two will have a neutral truce or end on peaceful terms. OR Spidey goes for a talk and Batman, being the control freak he is, will want Spidey to either disappear or work under him, Spidey being the low-key anarchist he is, will undoubtedly deny and get hotheaded with the other. Then, if basing this off comic logic, some supervillian that they need to work together on apears and by the end they're satisfied with eachother or some BS. Or, Spidey is exiled from Gotham and Spidey is equally unfriendly about the Bat in new york, they'd probably stay out of eachother's way until absolutely necessary. (Scenario 2 conti.) Alright, this one would probably end like Scenario 1 if the gas doesn't work or he gets away fast enough. Now lets see if the gas DOES work... Spidey wakes up in a room, locked up, he can't immediately break the restraints, he's still a little wooze aswell. Batman spears and demands information on who he is, etc. despite already knowing. A snarky comment later, Batman punches Spidey and continues his interrogation, now mentioning his personal life. Adrenaline burns through the left-over drug and Spidey struggles with the restraints, like Spidey always does, he breaks the restraints and if this is a Spiderman Comic, Spidey runs away, if this is a realistic situation, Spiderman one-shots Batman and he's KOed. Alright, we thought we were done, yea?? - situation two Spidey and Bats meets in battle or on the streets, if Spidey is for some reason in gotham it's probably something to do with helping out. Bats would obviously be reluctant and maybe even punch happy, Spidey would dodge and try to work something out. Eventually ending with Spidey back in new york on most likely peaceful terms. Pretty sure theres already a comic on Spidey in gotham lol.

Base Batman is peak human with gadgets. Base Spidey is super human, with several super powers. How is this even a comparison? If we are talking intellect, one is a detective and one is a scientist. They are both highly intelligent with tons of experience in the field. They are comparable. Prep time can get Batman new armors and gadgets, but the same applies to Spidey. We are talking about a peak human with augmented suit vs a super human with augmented suit. It is still not an even fight. There are three major ways that Batman would win; 1. His infamous plot armor. 2. He fused with Venom symbiote. 3. Spidey isn’t serious or angry at him. 1. And 3. are basically why Batman is still alive when tons of super humans and gods can realistically kill him in a blink of an eye.

Batman games: batman beats his entire rogues gallery and an ENTIRE ARMY in ONE NIGHT NO PREP TIME. Spiderman ps4: Rogues gallery breaks out of prison beats him up takes him days to get them all... As for spidersense.... Well batman has detetive vision where he can see everything through walls and see everything coming. 🤣

The comments on these types of videos are insane. Batman with prep time, still isnt beating Spiderman. Not only do they both have gadgets, special suits, and can create things for prep, but Spiderman is the one coming up with his own plans while Batman relies on his supercomputer and allies for his gadgets. Its insane that people say Batman is way smarter than Spiderman even tho Spiderman is also a genius and has top tier intellect in Marvel. There's only a few ways to get around the spider sense (none of which Batman has access to) it requires a symbiote, or a very special metal combination that Tony Stark made using the fictional metals in Marvel. So there is no way for Batman to get around the spidey sense. Batman also cant out speed or overpower him, he doesnt have any gadgets that would surprise or even do damage to him, and it only takes one web shot or one punch to put batman down. Even if Batman were to lure Spiderman into a building and set traps, Spiderman is one of the most agile characters in comics and could tank the whole building falling on him. Whatever edge you may think Batman has over Spiderman, its immediately canceled out by Spiderman's multiple OP abilities. Even if its just hand to hand combat, Spiderman is capable of dodging any attack Batman throws and has trained in his own special martial arts style that not even Taskmaster could copy.

Don’t forget what Spider-Man can do when he’s not holding back

Personally, I get the sense that in this type of fight, Spiderman would underestimate Batman. Also, I feel Batman would find a way to counteract the spider-sense, or at least subvert it. Not to say Batman would win in an all out fight, I think Spiderman would too. I just think it's a closer fight than people think.

Here's why Batman would really win this. Taking into account batman can hold his own against Superman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman and cyborg. (Either individually or all together at the same time) Also when Batman fought against Superman in Dark Knight returns part 1. He fought against him head on for a long period of time without kryptonite. Batman has fought the Predator several times and won. Batman has beat the Hulk. Batman has fought against Shredder and won. Even in Justice league movie, Batman took out some para demons. Think about most of the enemies in Batman's own universe that he has beaten, sometimes without prep time. Rhaz al Ghul for instance, someone who helped train batman, but also has lived for centuries, Even in Gotham TV Series, Bruce beat Rhaz and that was at 17 / 18 years old. Batman has beaten Bane on venom who when powered up can get electrocuted and still fight. An even run straight through walls. Batman has beaten Darkseid as well. Not all of his fights need preptime either. He is incredibly creative and analyzed while he fights. Peter Parker Spiderman has been cut and even badly injured by slower attacks than the lasers mentioned in this video. Hobgoblin has used proximity grenades and spinning blades that have caught him while he was relying on spidey sense. Also in wet enclosed tunnels, where there isn't much room to maneuver, (Spiderman VS Lizard) his Spidey sense is kind of useless, because he can't dodge everything, due to barely any room to move and loose footing on wet surfaces. Given those two above weaknesses, Bruce could easily lure Spiderman into an enclosed space as they fight, create a lot of batarang launchers, nets and other projectiles to go off in peters direction,, firing in close intervals, so at least some are going to get him, while he is dodging previous things. Then Grappling hook and punch him and even focus on weak parts of his human body. Plus Batman always carries a wide range of things for any occasion. Electricutionors gloves Freeze grenades. Batarangs. Torches. Sleeping gas and a lot of other gizmos. Batman is one of the smartest people in the entire DC universe. And will overthink every strategy to best his opponent. On top of that he can have additional things airdropped in, due to a constant contact with Alfred... So if he needs anything, he can have it dropped in. Bruce also has remote controls for his batmobile, batplane. Which he can use as decoys or assistance. Batman will win this fight regardless of Spidey sense. Case closed

prep time or not Spiderman would beat the breaks off of Batman and they're my 1 & 2 favorite heroes. I truly am a great fan of both Characters...but i have to agree with you ...spider man would definitely win the fight ..as mentioned and keep in mind batman is just a very skilled Physical human being with no super powers with that being said i have nothing more to say.

Batman with Prep-Time here is him getting a Symbiote specifically for fighting Spiderman. Primarily the Venom Symbiote. This comes after monitoring the spider for months and discovering the existence of the Spider-Sense via witnessing ambushes against the Spider, and noticing that he dodges bullets and explosions he has no realistic way to even know are coming... then noticing that a Venom or Carnage host is the only type of opponent who could actually land a hit on Spidey without being a lot faster than the spider or getting him in a position where he'd rather take the hit than dodge, or outnumbering him with supers that can strike from multiple directions and combat in multiple domains (Vulture + Electro + Rhino + Doc Oc + Sandman + Kingpin or a Goblin). So he tracks down Venom, and eventually separates the current host from the symbiote, then tries to keep him contained and fed, only taking the creature out to become the host so he can fight Spidey. A prepped battlefield is a deathtrap, lots of bombs all over so that Spidey has as many alarms blaring in his head as possible and doesn't know where to dodge too. Another option is Fear Gas in an attempt to overwhelm the Spider-Sense temporarily so he can get some hits in and slow the spider down. Spider-Man with prep time equally terrifying, if not scarier. But he's broke and likely wouldn't initiate the fight, and also isn't able to truly prep a battlefield like Bats could with his money. Spidey with prep time here would probably be some suit upgrades, primarily to aid in visibility in dark environments and maybe some training so he can lay down a bunch of webs and use their vibrations to find out where somebody is, and likely some minor armor like some versions of his stealth suits or the suit he made to fight Doc Oc in Insomniac Spider-Man 1. Both of these things are them prepping to counter eachother, thinking they'd be the fight initiator. Batman is a non-powered guy, Venom is him countering Spideys powers with his own. From there his gadgets and strategies (plus Venom shapeshifting and Spider Power emulation) put him on a positive footing. Spidey's prep is mainly dealing with Batman hunting him from the dark, from there his gadgets and powers put him on a positive footing. If both had prep, it would be one hell of a fight, and I don't know who would win.

spiderman is not smarter than batman, if batman has preptime, even if spiderman has prep time, spiderman will still lose, only way spiderman wins is if he instantly blitz batman with no time to waste and no time for him to prep, because if batman has prep time, batman wins no diff, batman with prep time is 6th dimensional plus, minmium. spider sense can't even protect him from a attack from prep time batman. altho to be fair, the flash would always appear whenever batman is close to death, so even without all that, he would still win....

I actually prefered this run as a child over the stan lee steve ditko run. I still love the original 60s run but its a lil dated. I actually think the original run was a good foundation but later writers improved on it.
