1 month with my z flip 3 and my battery has improved tremendously after it needed to learn my usage. I am not getting away from flip phones, way too much fun! Fits everywhere!

As a teen in the 90s, I would get Game Pro, EGM, and Next Gen mags just to read about SNES, PS1, or DC. Flip 3 is now a mini version of all those consoles I loved as a kid.

switched over from iPhone 12 pro max to Z Flip3 and love it. Glad I made the change, feels like I have an actual mini laptop with me instead of just a smartphone. not to mention how much light and compact it is.
I currently have the 12 pro max and i’m honestly thinking of switching as well, it might be better.
Bought my wife a pro max 12 as she wanted it, and im teasing her while using z flip 3 😆. And yes, its a mini laptop.

I saved too, and yes it's worth it, i have one, so much fun, you can like set it in areas, and it will stand for selfies, and the back little screen were back cameras at, it shows what the picture looks like that way you can get in the right spot for th a Picture.

I just bought one of these recently and I love it. Also would recommend owners of the z flip 3 to look into the features of the phone. There are a ton of cool features with this phone. Like making the mini screen a view finder when taking pictures so you can see what you like.
I have loved this channel since I started watching when the m1 macs came out (and I did buy a mac mini base because I wanted to get back into macs especially now they're cheaper). You have the same joy with the z flip 3 as I do. You hit everything on the head about the productivity aspect and the joy of having essentially a tricorder. I love this phone because I can now fit them in my tiny pockets at work or just see quick notifications on the cover screen when it's sitting on my desk instead of having to light up the whole screen. I've been watching this series (the samsung flip/fold series) since it came out I'm hoping the folding screen holds out that is my only worry but let's hope third time is a charm.
I love this phone. It fits so perfect in my pocket and the way it looks and feels is just great. I don't see myself getting rid of this phone anytime soon
Exactly what i've been experienced with mine, especially about the cover screen, it's help me reduce my on screen time from checking notifications, so now i can self filter my social media notification, now i only open the main screen for important message, a short session of gaming, or watch some youtube clip... kinda therapudic
Bought this when contract from s20 plus was almost up. Ok the line or crease through the centre does put some of my friends off, but at same time others and myself don't mind it. It's really nice and compact and gas some well thought features especially with photography/video taking using front mini screen. I'm really impressed and loving it. I purchase a clear plastic case that has hinge protection and the sticker that looks like it shows inside of phone. Battery life fine for me.

The Galaxy Note S8 has been tremendously great to me and for me over that past 4 years If I didn't have to get a new phone instead of getting it fixed a 2nd time I would just keep it, it was and still is a great device in my opinion but the flip does catch my attention and the flipping feature is just a plus to me fits better in a pocket.

If you really look at it, Samsung could make a pager size phone for kids with this device. Another great idea.

Just ordered this phone today. Will be here tomorrow. After watching this video and a few others I'm SUPER psyched to get this phone! I'll give my own impressions after I've used it for awhile.
I got mines 3weeks ago and I'm Loving it!
My samsung note 9 has served me very well these past four years. Upgraded to this phone and couldn't be any happier, some battery changes and it holds the whole Day and some more even. I really like the functions it makes it more special. I probably will never go back to flat phones if they keep upgrading z flip series. Can't wait what they'll do with the cover screen in the future!
Thank you for the great presentation. I did set it to the 60 something, cant recall the tech term, for battery life and it is still spectacular. I dont mind the need for extra charging due to the smaller battery. Im on day 3 of a 14 day return option at Best Buy and so far I am loving it. Jan 2, 2022

@Marisela Quintero I kept it. It's great. Really compact and light when folded. Like, where's it at? Lol. Only once got hot. Turned off for 10 min to make sure all background apps closed. Then no problem. Read instructions. These are new batteries and have a setting to stop charging at 85% for better battery life. I am very pleased with it. 👍🤗🤳

I actually saw someone customize the notification section on the outside of the phone to a giph so I think that's pretty cool.
As a long term appleuser (and bothside), this time Z Filp 3 let me switch from iphone12 pro without any question. Most apps can easy to tranfer to this phone even whatsapp ,photos..(just trade it ). Maybe it is not the perfect ,but I am so happy to use.
I have this phone on contract (5G contract with EE) and I love it. Everything about this phone is perfect except the battery of course. 3300 mAh is not enough for a power house of a revolutionary phone like this. I hope they upgrade the battery next time if a new Flip Model 4 is released to a battery capacity of about 3800mAh.
With 120hz refresh rate on and 5G Internet connectivity, it is a sure way to drain the battery quickly. The battery of the Z Flip 3 is the only negative thing about this phone. Apart from that it is a beauty 😍❤
I had a Samsung galaxy s9. I saw the advertisement for the Z Flip 3 phone and feel in love with it. Just received my Z flip 3 yesterday
I absolutely love it more in person. Very fast and easy to use. The only thing I disliked was there is no way to add memory card in the phone. I wish it was water proof instead of water resistant. But it's still a great phone.
The main reason I bought it was because I can put in my back pocket without worrying about me losing or dropping it
It's honestly as water proof as you need it to be. IPX8 means it's rated at 1.5m for 30min, meaning if you keep it under 1.5m of water up to 30min, it's still fine. So splashes next to the sink, taking it into the shower to listen to music/watch videos, or even an accidental drop in a puddle or pool should be totally fine!

Think the Flip3 is close to where Samsung wants to go...
They'll maybe make the outside screen bigger, add battery and camera and improve the inner screen durability but it will take another 5-10years for them to invent something like the unscratchable folding screen without crease
@@tschumitjuu I think an outside bigger screen would literally ruin it. It would look more like half a screen shoved into that spot. That line for some reason between the screen next to the camera and the color of the phone personally looks sleek and appealing. A screen would ruin that look…

I own a 13 pro max and it’s the best phone I’ve ever owned. I did however just order the flip 3 as I’m super keen to give it a go. It looks like fun and has a great screen. Plan is to keep both but we will see!

also switching from an iphone to a zf3, though I was always an android user before I got the iPhone 11. It's been a good phone, but I hate the way Apple locks you into using only their stuff.
I use Sandisk usb-c flash drive formatted in exfat filesystem to backup my iPad pro 2020 but transferring files from iPad to the flash drive is very very slow. I don't want to format it in apfs file system because it won't be readable on windows pcs. Is there a solution for faster file transfer or Are there certain types of flash drives or external ssds that can make me transfer files faster?

I've got the Flip3. And to me its not about what it does when open. Almost any other phone can do what it does or better, and sometimes cheaper.
No, its about what it does when closed that makes the difference. And that is being able to put it in my pocket without giving myself a vasectomy every time I sit down.
If being compact when you put it away is not your number one top of the list priority, then this phone is not for you.

I'm watching this on my ZFlip3 not even sure why I watched this but dad to dad, good video. :) One thing: the closed mode only allows Samsung Pay (not Googly Pay) which is annoying but understandable. What's not okay is that the closed mode Pay requires your thumb scan, doesn't allow other password systems, and I don't want to give my biometrics to a private company. Small annoyance but great phone in general; I think of the battery as 'right sized' and when you said sports car, I thought hey, it's the Mazda Miata of current phones.

How's the scratch resistance tho ? It's pretty dusty in my city and im worried that it will accumulate on the screen and just scratch it when i fold the phone. Or scratch it when i clean off the dust every time.

Hmm I was gonna talk smack on the crease but I have a fold 3 that also has the crease and I've gotten used to it. I honestly wish the fold series had the same width as the flip series phones. The front display is just too narrow for practical usage.
Is the main screen still soft feeling like the original flip?

just know the risks, personally the only downsides for me is the short battery and as someone w acrylic nails i have to be way more careful to not dent the screen. at the end of the day its up to you but i love mine so much and being able to keep it closed out in public and able to control music on the cover screen makes it perfect. but the main risk id say is the screen going black in the middle, ive had mine for over 3 months and no problems yet but ik people started to get a crack later on and it slowly became a whole black bar in the center.
I like having the watch with it too. I can text and talk without going to the phone!

My screen cracked along the fold in about 7 months and Samsung did nothing about it. I don't recommend this phone.

I love my phone. I left iphone 11 max. battery 🔋 life is not bad as ppl make it out to be. Mine last me all day. I haven't complaints got tired of iphone not making any changes no more than the camera. Well I wanted a physical change and they wasn't getting it for me! So I'm giving Samsung a shot for at least at year. I'm loving it 😁

I would love a notification area to put little icons for the notification type that you have received similar to how they do the aod display. To me that would be extremely helpful instead of a little orange Dot because even with the little orange dot that means I have to open the phone to see what kind of notification I got where if they had put little icons in the front notification area then I would know right away without having to ever open the phone. Secondly if they treat that little notification area similar to how they treat their Samsung Galaxy watch 4 where you can reply to a notification like an email or a text that would be again extremely helpful
If you wake the cover screen and swipe to the right you get a list of notifications including their icons, It's one of the things I really like about the cover screen

I bought one when it was first released out of curiosity. I tried it for a couples of days but I just couldn't get the hang of it, not the phone itself but the fact it was an android haha. I started on an android but once I switched to iOS I didn't want to go back. fast forward several iPhone models later and now I feel like going back to an android....waiting for my ZF3 to arrive this week....at least this time around I didn't have to pay $1,000 for it haha

I think so! I suppose the first problem you'll have as time goes is the battery life. But I trust Samsung's foldable mechanism.

It most definitely will. I own the Z Fold 3 and that hinge's build quality is solid.

@@darthkai8242 i had a zflip 3 for a little over 7 months and during that timeframe it cracked and formed a crease right along the fold. no other damage to the phone since i took perfect care of it; fast forward a few months later i’m attempting to switch phones because of this crack and crease not due to my poor caretaking and i’m told that my 600 dollar trade in value that the phone would have is no longer available due to this crease. 600 dollars down the drain due to a manufacturing defect.
and as for the overheating, my zflip 3 would continuously overheat during videocalls and shut off apps or even the entire phone at random times. the only way to mediate the issue was to turn off motion smoothness disabling the 120hz refresh rate and closing all background apps. ontop of that, utilizing the picture in picture feature would cause the phone to overheat even quicker. it’s an unfinished product and i will never recommend such a failure to any of my peers because of the mediocre issues.

@@liz-yn6ou I had it 3 days and returned it and went back to iPhone, the main reason was battery life. I use my phone a lot daily for work and it just wouldn’t last for me. As far as the phone it was super cool with the “flip” part of it. If it had a bigger battery I would have stayed with it, also it’s really hard going from iPhone OS to android lol.
It's hard to explain how good it is unless you use it, if you want to know the folded size, a pack of cards is very close to the same size.
No a deck of cards is thicker for sure. I own this phone.
had the phone for 2 weeks and the screen under the fold on the right side has loosened a bit, notice when I press down the screen.

@@GodAarav-YT it's very good but if you get one, watch the battery life. There are a ton of videos on here explaining how to extend it. Other than that, I love it!

@@GodAarav-YT Well, it depends what you're using it for but mine is on all day and I definitely need to charge it up at the end of each day. Both front and back cameras are amazing .
