What an outstanding performance. I don't think anyone has ever done it better. Lucy is pure power. Outstanding! She does not need to use any gimmicks or flaunt her body like the others do. Her voice is gold, unlike any I've ever heard. And her inner and natural outer beauty is a rarity in the world today. Lucy is in a class of her own unmatched by anyone.

I still get the shivers every time I hear Lucy perform this song. Even knowing in advance the powerful crescendo that is coming at 2:40 in song, it still floors me.
Everything before that is like building a ramp, getting ready for the jump into hyper-drive... full forte, long holds, big runs, giant chorus, it takes the listener to another place and time. It works splendidly and we never want to come back down to Earth again. Keep us in this magical spot for just a little longer, we don't want it to end.
Even at the age of 14, Lucy Thomas not only could sing very well, Lucy knew she could sing very well. Top Performers have great confidence in their own vocal abilities. They also continually review their own skill level. Lucy has had the very same Vocal Coach since the beginning. Together they have honed Lucy Thomas into the best voice of her generation. There is no one out there today that comes close.
When I first started reviewing Lucy Thomas 3 years ago, I was unfair in that I would compare her to other singers. About the same as laying false praise on someone. That doesn't help the Artist to grow. Today my approach is much different. I use an Objective Metrics Based System to dig deep into the nuts and bolts of Lucy's Songs. I do have a Music and Drama Background and Performed Live for many years.
Most people with no background in music use a Subjective approach. They 'like' a performer, or their songs because... well they 'just like' them. They have no tools or experience to describe 'why' they like them. That leads to false praise that can stifle an artist from improving. There are other artists on RUclips with large fan bases using Subjective False Praise. Worse yet, dozens of Music Video Reaction Channels dish out Subjective False Praise too. They have to or no one would click on their channel. This hurts both Artist and Fans. Sadly, vast majority of Fans and Review Channels have zero musical training or any experience actually performing.
In an Objective comparison, with many different criteria measured, many other artists are nowhere as good as many think. That is the harsh reality of Music, especially when Low Album Sales, Short Careers, and Burnout are common.
Lucy doesn't compare herself to other singers whose covers she performs. She also doesn't compare herself with other singers on the Internet. She lets her Professional Vocal and Performance Coaches, Record Label, and Professional Talent Management Team provide valuable feedback. They have a Lifelong Career Plan in Music for Lucy to follow if she chooses. All of us want to see Lucy do what she does best... Sing and Perform.
Lucy Thomas has consistently improved with each New Song. I used to fear she would 'hit the wall' because you can't improve forever. Today, I know that Lucy is just warming up. Her skills and professional growth continue to improve. There is no wall to hit, only a very bright and long future.
Lucy Thomas doesn't copy music... she IMPROVES it.

Love of how Lucy belted the Strong Breath Control of her vocal voice, she is amazing singer. Everything about her sing's is perfect and brilliant singer, this masterpiece song by Eric Carmen and now Lucy own this version.

Well Paulie another great review. Lucy can belt forever with perfect pitch and tone. All I can say is WOW. I notice you haven’t reacted to “Run” which Lucy will again surprise you more vocal talents.
