Surely the most beautiful voice of a generation. I have watched Ms Thomas sing this song multiple times and never get tired of hearing it. Nice, genuine reaction guys.
You have obviously got to have a natural talent but to get to this level she has had vocal coaching since she was 7 years old. Dedication like that really does deserve the highest praise and respect.
Lucy is a RUclips sensation. As already mentioned, there are many other great recordings of Lucy singing solo, and her voice has matured and got richer since that recording. But before doing another solo from her I would recommend one of her duets with her little sister Martha. Their rendition of ‘The Prayer’ is simply outstanding, thought by many to be even better than the Andrea Bocelli/Cèline Dion original. Lucy was 18 and Martha 12 when they sang that.

Thank you for a great reaction to Lucy Thomas's rendition of "Hallelujah". This was the first song I heard and I almost fell out of my chair. I have over a decade of Singing and Acting. I had to play it over and over to make sure my ears and eyes weren't fooling me. Lucy Thomas at age 16 here, absolutely took a classic and made this song her own. Many have copied this song, but only Lucy has improved it. Even if someone tried to copy Lucy's rendition, they would fall short. No one will beat this performance... no one. A flawless performance, expert breathing, perfect pitch, range and volume control many pros with decades of experience would envy. Lucy made it look easy. The way Lucy changes the shape of her mouth to change the tonal quality is amazing. Lucy has the tightest vibrato control I have ever heard. She can hold her vibrato plus or minus 1/4 note from base note, even when she is mouthing sounds like oooh's and aaahh's. It is refreshing to see and hear real talent. Especially in today's flood of talent-less performances on the internet. So many rely on gimmicks or hide in studio. Auto-tune and lackluster physical deliveries that make us scratch our heads. Lucy Thomas has real talent and it not afraid to use it. 1 mic, 1 camera, 1 take start to finish. Her physical delivery connects in a deep and emotional way with her listeners. We become part of the story Lucy is telling with her song. Like a great novel, Lucy's story has a beginning, middle and end. We don't want it to end, just a little more please. Lucy Thomas doesn't copy music... Lucy Thomas improves it.

Very beautiful! She can absolutely sing beyond comparison. However, after hearing the recent live recording by Emma Kok, it is indeed a perfect fabricated studio production but nothing more. Emma Kok's voice is not as perfect in a live recording, but she really touches your heart with this song❤. Emma does not act, she lives the song. Very beautiful! She can absolutely sing beyond comparison. However, after hearing the recent live recording by Emma Kok, it is indeed a perfect fabricated studio production but nothing more. Emma Kok's voice is not as perfect in a live recording, but she really touches your heart with this song❤. Emma does not act, she lives the song. I do look forward to a live performance of Lucy thought!
