Multiple Man was in the original series as a member of X-Factor as well as a henchman for Mr. Sinister in Wolverine and the X-Men. Also, not Black Tom, that's Sebastian Shaw. Black Tom is Banshee's brother in the cartoon.
Spoilers** Great episode. This show has been written to perfection. I initially was in the time travel fix crowd, but I think it is a too obvious a fix. I think most of this sticks. I think Magneto survived and had a plan with the Morlocks. Leech can de-power people (it didn't say he was dead, just that the threat was no longer existed = no powers). Gambit will be back in the finale. A tease of him as Apocalypse's new "Death". Who is behind it? I think Bastion is clear favorite. Stryfe has not been mentioned as much as he should be. Cassandra Nova would be wild, but I can't believe they'll go there.
I’ve got every xmen comic either gambit, I’ve got almost all gambit memorabilia, he was my main in the capcom games, and this is what they decide to do with the character…. I’m devastated
i hope they add nightcrawler to the main roster. especially if we really lost gambit and magneto (though i feel like erik is still alive since we saw no body). there's a spot open to add a new team member
The thing is. They could fix it, but we could also have Magneto survived because Leech depowered him enough that Sentinel thought he was dead, and Gambit could come back as Death. So it could go either way. Honestly I'm hoping they don't just fix it it with time travel.
But how would that work? If leech depowers him, doesn't that mean that Magneto's bubble shield also disappears and so they die instantly from the green blast?
@@mrshade810 In usual comic shenanigans it'd be that he moved them underground (nod to morlocs), you could tell he was putting all sorts of things around him as he sunk. My X-Men '97 predictions: Magneto and Leech (and possibly other Morlocks) survived the blast. While still inside the force field, Magneto let the Sentinel blast explode and they disguised their escape by shooting away like shrapnel. They were the ones that hit the building that collapsed in the background. Magneto will turn back to his old ways but not show up alive immediately. He will let himself become a “martyr figure” to rally mutants to his side as they prepare for war. The villain mastermind who will show up in Ep 7 is Bastion. He is a sentinel/human hybrid from the future and is the one Cable was warning Madelyne about. He is working with Gyrich, Trask, and Mister Sinister to trigger a human and mutant war. Bastion works with the UN’s Special Sciences Division who dismantled Master Mold from Ep 1, allowing him to create the giant three-headed Master Mold that destroyed Genosha. Another X-Man will die in Ep 8. The season will close with the X-Men separated into two opposing factions (inspired by X-Men Schism). One side will be more militant, led by Cyclops. The other side will hew closer to Xavier’s dream, led by Storm. Big drama on how the X-Men will choose their sides in Ep 10.
