Yeah Rogue had to have that dance to see if in addition to the touch she felt anything deeper. She didn't. Similarly the times she seems happiest in the dance are when her eyes are closed or her back is turned from Magneto like when he's turning around and moving his hand over her breast almost as if she's picturing Gambit. She looks noticeably underwhelmed at the end of the dance before the kiss with it likely being a last ditch attempt at seeing if she feels anything for Magneto like how she does with Gambit.

I actually saw a spoiler (unintentionally)of the end of this episode before I started watching the series & I was mad at 1st, but when I saw it, it prompted me to get Disney+ JUST to watch it. Rogue has been "my girl" since the 90's original animated series when I was a teenager, so I KNEW I had to see how things turned out. As a Rogue fan, I LOVE how much shine she's getting in this continuation of the series & how grown-up they made it with the relationships & the reality that mutants are actually facing DEATH ☠️ in this universe & they ain't just playing "Heroes 🦸🏽♂️"! Can't wait to see y'all's reaction to episode 7 (My Favorite) & 9! BTW girlfriend/ wife 😘! She reminds me of Meelah 👩🏿 from the group "702."
Rogue has been incredible and definitely one of the stars of the shows!! the sense of danger in this show is REAL man! feels like almost anybody can go at any time. we had to google who Meelah is cause we were not familiar with 702 😂

Gambit is my favorite character, and as much as I've been enjoying the '97 series, I don't like how they disrespected him...they did my boi dirty the entire time he was alive, then they killed him
i can understand how you feel being a gambit fan! we for sure could have gotten more but although we did not get much of him I feel like they respected him at the end! just wished we had more of him!!
I feel you but they actually did show him respect in the way he went out. He showed how powerful he really is by defeating that sentinel that not even Magneto could destroy. He will likely be back as Death though.
How did Gambit get did wrong when this is The Marvel Universe. One of the best things about The Gambit Rouge Magneto Triangle was that in the comics both men were with Rouge and right now Gambit is married to Rouge in their comic.
What I love about how Gambit was done is that Gambit had so many Women that he didn’t need to worry about touching Rouge because he touched so many women before and they made him a real player that knows how to pull more women, but if you don’t believe me then ask Madeline Pryor who was happy to try and take Rouges place at the bar. But all jokes aside, Gambit went out A True X-Men while Rouge leaving Magneto but keeping it business and on episode 10 Magneto admitted that she chose Gambit over him. I know it feels watered down but as Gambit being my favorite Superhero I loved that he beat Master Mold while Magneto didn’t stand a chance. That’s a win for Gambit in my book
the xmen didn't thought: oh my what do I see'' at the gala it was a sign to the pubic that she would govern genosha with erik but she vhose gambit anyway, pls stop being so squimish on people showing love in public. xmen were alawys the standart for free love and unity
i understand your feeling and this is probably your first time watching us but I had that reaction not because they were kissing but because I am a fan of gambit and I couldn’t help but feel bad for him in this situation. the mutants were surprised by the scene. everyone was because a lot of them know that touching Rogue is mostly impossible. it was their first time seeing such a thing which is surprising! thank you for watching! 🙏🏾
