A word to the wise from an old Otaku, Made in Abyss is most definitely NOT Twitch friendly. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see your reactions live, but it's not worth the risk.
Putting it on the patreon is probably for the best. The show is really good, especially the soundtrack. The ost is all made by the same composer and the CD releases of the soundtrack is over 5 hours long in total. Idk how restrictive the copyright on it is but it would be a shame to have to mute it on youtube/twitch.
PLEASE give it a watch before you have a chance to get anything spoiled! It's going to be an amazing one. I think this show in particular is extremally good for reactions. A DEFINATE must watch.
@@LilmeMusic I don't think he does, he's said heaps of times that the reason he's so curious is because every picture he's seen of it is so happy and bright, while everyone says it's super dark and horrifying
If you look up Made In Abyss Official Soundtrack there's actually three whole albums that have like over 50 of these kind of OSTs that are ALL that good
I have some doubts. Many things in anime is distracting until you get a bit used to them. MIA leaves many impressions, and emotions, and if you question too many unfamiliar small oddities that is uncommon outside of anime, it will be a bit harder to take everything in as a whole. But he has seen a few anime now, and are much more ready for this show now than he was. MiA doesn't have nudity in the sense that you can see any private parts, from what I remember. He's watching KonoSuba on Twitch with no problems, so MiA would likely be fine in that regard.
@@KollarDrake Nope, it doesn't have any nipples or genitals showing in season 1, movie or season 2. The only thing close to it is the scribble that Riko makes of Reg in the second episode where she draws his penis, albeit it's very short and a poor quality drawing xD.

5:54 "Is there nudity?" There are a few clips here and there of prepubescent children (the main characters) on screen that are portrayed without clothes on (but perhaps with various parts obscured or covered with a slight cloth or something). It's not presented in any perverted way, but it's still *enough* clothing missing that you may simply not want to chance it with Twitch. Oh, and there's also a fully adult woman later in the series without clothing (again, shrouded significantly, so not meant to be perverted), but it could definitely get flagged.

Great reaction! I must say I can't wait for you to watch Made in Abyss. I have been watching anime for 7 years, and I just recently watched Made in Abyss and I have to admit that no anime has ever touched me and left such a void in me, but at the same time made me completely fall in love with anime again. ♡
The feeling that you've heard it is because the main chord progression is very common, however where it gets unique is some of the harmonies are dissonant yet they still fit either the main melody or the background one. The actual chord is a major so it gives an uplifting feeling "the characters look so happy". yet the voice is in minor so you get a sense of dread somewhat(when you watch it you'll understand why they go hand in hand) and thats what makes this beautiful. Almost as if the voices of the abyss are calling tho future raiders telling them to keep going through all the crazy ish. In hopes that someday all of their dreams can be fulfilled to conquer the abyss. continuous hope that extends past your own life type shit.
Made in Abyss is definitely a must watch anime and cant wait til you do, theres a lot to it and itd be iffy on twitch here and there, hoping you check out the Old Stories OST sometime as well from it.
at some point can you please react to The Greatest Living Show by Toby Fox/Itoki Hana? it's a really wonderful surrealist horror piece and I think the style is really beautiful.
The OST is absolutely just something else And so is the anime itself, it’s unlike anything else, an absolute must watch without being spoiled And yep this absolutely plays over scenes
2:53 If we talk about EDM music, the genre is somewhat close to "liquid drum and bass" (before the vocals started), or something with "liquid" since it makes the track lighter. // Made in abyss doesn't really have nudity, BUT there are a couple references to male genitalia, made both seriously and in humor. One character blushes multiple times from witnessing female nudity out of sight of the camera
Very nice song it gives a very ominous & sad feeling from the song. It has a lot of intensity. I never seen this series, but I know it is quite good. Vocals are impressive as well!
There are at least three scenes in season 1 that would be "problematic" on twitch, two of which had little controversies when the anime came out. They're not even naughy scenes, and there's always hair and whatnot hiding parts from what I remember, but yeah, the characters look quite young so it would be a total gamble to watch it there. I don't remember anything "bad" with the movie. Season 2 for sure have a few bits when it comes to a certain character's backstory tho. There's more to worry about visually but that would enter heavy spoiler territory. Let's just say that travelling to the abyss isn't a walk in the park and the series don't shy out of showing the trials they have to overcome.
Made in Abyss has several instances of borderline-nudity, when the characters are obviously naked (e.g. taking a bath in a wild lake) but with everything covered up. It is never the intent of the show to be cheeky, but it discusses all aspects of nature, so sexuality does get brought up when appropriate. As I understand it, it might be stressful for you to watch it on twitch, but I'd strongly recommend watching this masterpiece in whatever other way you can.
such a great Show. "Prushka Sequence" from the 2nd soundtrack is one of the greatest Pieces ever composed for Anime. If you reacted to that I might actually pass away.
If the bath scene from Konosuba was okay then Made in Abyss should be alright. Although the protagonists are a bit younger so idk if that changes anything.
in episode 1 theres a 2 second scene with the main girl holding a book with a crappy childs drawing of the main boy in no clothes for research(its similar to what youd see drawn in a school toilet lol) other than that the only nudity is suggestive or covered by camera angles. your more recent twitch watch alongs are MUCH more revealing lol edit: this show isnt nudity focused, its focus is on storytelling, world building and adventure
I wouldn't really say Made in Abyss has crazy plot twists... at least not yet. It is chalk full of mysteries though and extremely unpredictable. I've just never seen anything like it. The closest thing I can compare it to in terms of the feelings I get is it brings back nostalgia of looking at Dr. Seuss art in the darker and creeper images when I was a very small child. Just wonder and mystery and unsettling feelings of vast alien environments.
I think the series works better as a youtube series versus a stream series because the episodes are so dense and you need time for everything to sink in.
I need a second part of Made in abbys OST reaction pls!!! There's a lot more amazing soundtracks from this anime SUCH AS, Tomorrow, Dark Reg Nightmare Fuel, 'Made in Abbys', Gravity ft. Arnór Dan, Old Stories, Stingerhead Nest, ベラフの子守歌 , Transcendance and Hanezeve and Sëgûr
I bet Luke would love the Berserk OSTs. Its Orchestral + Metal . * chefs kiss * Also Summertime Rendering is a great mystery show many people haven't seen in a while . The fact it wasn't distributed properly is a mystery in it self .
This is a piece of media that you just need to treat yourself to. There’s no story even remotely like this. You’ll find yourself on the wildest rollercoaster of emotions and you’ll be thinking about every episode long after you’ve finished it.
Made in Abyss is at least as amazing as a show as the soundtrack would have you believe. Beautiful visuals, amazing characters, a deeply complex world, and shocking plot twists.
"Can I watch it on Twitch?" Personally, I wouldn't advise that. "When it plays during show?" The answer for me is: At perfect moments. Honestly, when that song hits, it like the scene is playing on your heart like an instrument. It hits hard... Like.. every piece of Kevin Penkin is just destroying my emotions, but there are a few special cases from his repertoire that just are above the rest, and Hanezeve Caradhina is one of them. I won't give any titles, because: There are so many amazing pieces, and to fully understand their impact, one must watch Made in Abyss. It just multiplies the experience. So listening to those now may take from your experience when you would eventually watch Made in Abyss. And let me tell you, hearing them for the first time during the scenes they should be played with, with the right pack of emotions, just makes wonders. I wish you would watch it instead.
You may be interested to know, the vocalist (Takeshi saito) did an acoustic recording of this with his guitar. It’s on his RUclips channel and really good
This sounds amazing will defiantly have to check the ost out. I highly reccomend watching B for Beginning ending song The Perfect World I think your love it and I would love to see your reaction. 😁
Takeshi Saitou is an absolutely *phenomenal* singer. He has his own arrangement of this song, along with covers of a lot of other songs on his own youtube channel Snare Channel Official. And the song probably sounds familiar because the composer, Kevin Penkin, has a distinctive style and has worked on the music for a bunch of anime and video games. Worth giving his imdb a look to see if you've heard his other work.
i watched the anime and all I have to say this anime is so dark and gives you a million question and that's the fun thing about it other than that the story is so good and the characters are so perfect i highly recommend you to watch it .

This is a piece of media that you just need to treat yourself to. There’s no story even remotely like this. You’ll find yourself on the wildest rollercoaster of emotions and you’ll be thinking about every episode long after you’ve finished it.

I absolutely love made in abyss it's not your typical anime it's beautifully made and soundtrack is amazing go give it a watch.
You should definitely watch Made in Abyss. One of my all time favorite stories and the world is absolutely breath taking
Yeah made in abyss will blow your mind 🤯
But I don't know if it's watchable on twitch tho
Made in Abyss is one of those animes you won't forget. This series made me think a lot... WTF!
Made in Abyss is at least as amazing as a show as the soundtrack would have you believe. Beautiful visuals, amazing characters, a deeply complex world, and shocking plot twists.
one of the most beautiful and pure anime I have ever seen....when you hear this song you know you will cry or smile for the entire episode
"Can I watch it on Twitch?"
Personally, I wouldn't advise that.
"When it plays during show?"
The answer for me is:
At perfect moments.
I won't give any titles, because:
There are so many amazing pieces, and to fully understand their impact, one must watch Made in Abyss. It just multiplies the experience.
So listening to those now may take from your experience when you would eventually watch Made in Abyss. And let me tell you, hearing them for the first time during the scenes they should be played with, with the right pack of emotions, just makes wonders.
I wish you would watch it instead.
I've long for you to watch this. This show is a masterpiece as well it's ost from the goat Kevin Penkin.
Probably my favorite anime ever. Definitely worth watching.
You may be interested to know, the vocalist (Takeshi saito) did an acoustic recording of this with his guitar. It’s on his RUclips channel and really good
Made in Abyss is the goat of the adventure genre
If you do some Madoka magica ost make sure to do 2 or 3 in a video because they tend to be quite short BUT very beautiful or epic depending on the ost
Great reaction!
If you enjoyed this vocalist you'll love VOH which is sung by the same guy
Belaf's lullaby is the next made in abyss ost you need
Tozo Hanoline must be next!
I just read the recent chapter of made in abyss. What a coincidence..!!
amazing ost, i havent started made in abyss sseason 2 yet but the anime till movie is very good
This sounds amazing will defiantly have to check the ost out.
Firstly, absolutely watch the show, its incredible
Secondly, "rumble of scientific triumph" is another must listen from the OST
i watched the anime and all I have to say this anime is so dark and gives you a million question and that's the fun thing about it other than that the story is so good and the characters are so perfect i highly recommend you to watch it .
The singer Takeshi Saito did his own cover of this you might check out too. And yes that was his voice hitting those notes lol
