  • Original mockup made by ‪@theminervaalliance8338‬, this is just a remake of it with better audio, proper EAS tones and an era accurate scroll (as the EASyPLUS scroll seen in the original video did not exist until early-2000s). Also, this takes place in June 24, 1999 instead of June 25 as the original mockup is supposed to take place for a day.

    The TV show in the video is Arthur Season 1 Episode 16 (not Episode 14 unlike what the description claims).

      I used the DECTalk software for Windows included in this GitHub repository:
      github.com/mewtek/OpenCRS/tree/main
      Click on "Code" then "Download ZIP" to download the repository. The software is in the dectalk folder. Also, as a tip, make sure to load the NWS dictionary file (dtalk_nws_us.dic) in DECTalk before converting the audio to .wav and when converting select MONO 8kHz for more accuracy.

    Hey, if you're going to make it realistic put in actual television station call letters like KVLY or WDAY-TV. Unless there is somthing im not getting.
    Edit: Bro wtf is that storm? Sound more like a hurricane lmao.

    • @luennix
      @luennix  9 месяцев назад +1

      The call letter is from the original mockup (link in desc), this is a more realistic remake of it but I still decided to keep some of the fiction.
      Also I used a slash instead of dash because EAS sender IDs do not allow dashes, so most stations either use a slash instead or put nothing between the ID and the TV part of the sender ID.
