Maybe I'm reading too far into it, but is anybody else worried about: -the fact that they apparently interrupted their *own* message to communicate that listening to it was endangering you -the fact that the beginning of the message clearly states that little is known about the creatures, but the second half implies more intimate knowledge of their motives, but no volunteered details or other info that would be helpful to surviving them -before the cut off, the message was clearly going to say something different from "let them take you" and the cut-off seemed suspiciously intentional. plus, the idea of advising people to surrender themselves without a fight to creatures that apparently want to feed on them strikes me as the kind of thing that the creatures themselves would want I might be wrong, but to me all this implies that the message was intercepted and changed, maybe by something that wouldn't have been able to perfectly recreate the audio part of the message (which would be why they swapped to silent)
My theory is that perhaps the broadcast station was attacked and they hurriedly whipped together an updated message as they were seeing the others be attacked
It says hide away from light, so I am assuming that travel during the night is also a death wish because of moonlight, and sunlight can get you snatched by them, and they are blood thirsty, it's make it all wonder if and why the broadcast never stated that the U.S military was working on the situation if this is based in the U.S, which would be utmost terrifying because that could mean either they wiped out the Military, or the Military can't do anything to fight them off and are instead hiding themselves. @@dapril

eas scenarios like this are lame because they rely on creepy music distorted sounds and edgy lines to make you scared, the best scenarios are the ones that make your spine tingle without making it overly abnormal or "spooky" (seriously... is your story so unfrightening that you have to put a red pattern and lower the pitch of the alarm to get a reaction from viewers...)

I kinda loved the idea of, at the end the message just tells you to just let go in case one of the entities finds you Most of these messages would probably tell you to have a firearm beside you or anything thay can be used as a weapon, like,knifes,bats etc or say that you have to do soemthing specific to survive, either call a number, try to appear intimidating and etc This one... doesn't, like it's not trying to lie to you that you have a chance of surviving by killing or attacking the creatures, it just tells you to let go and die because wont be worth your sacrifice I feel like that's more eerie than to have a monster u can fight, even if yours chances of winning are 0 you still kinda get a small sense of ''safety'' because your brain thinks ''well if im gonna die, then i'll at least try to hurt this thing as much as i can before i go'' sure you can still hide, that is just a matter of time and luck on weather it will work or not Having that message of "dont waste your time, and it will hurt less" is much more surreal and creepy

The creatures want you to let them take you. They know they won't stand a chance in a fight, especially versus the firearms many Americans own. They are deceiving you.
