I got into Coldplay and Linkin Park around the same time, and have always considered both to be among my favorite bands. My two worlds are colliding, it's really surreal. The bands are at opposite ends of my spectrum of music taste, and I thought it was nice how it came together. Linkin Park got me through some hard times in my life, and honestly all the covers that have sprung up now, often by people who clearly weren't fans, has annoyed me greatly. But this one I thought was genuinely nice. I never thought I'd hear LP in a Coldplay style

Who the fuck goes to a concert to have a conversation? Obviously not the fault of the person recording, but those people near you would annoy me so much if I was close to them at a show. You get maybe 2 hours to enjoy live music, make the most of it and take it in as best you can rather than just talking through it all. Great cover though, really enjoyed it

One of the worst audiences I ever encountered was at an Incubus show in 2007. Even as the band came on stage for the very first song, people were talking and looking at their cell phones and not even paying attention. It blew my mind. Sure, I've always taken some short videos and photos during a show, but not during the first song, and not for 90% of the show.

I know this performance is highly criticized, but as someone who is and will always be a huge Linkin Park fan, and was actually at this show... this was beautiful and healing. Linkin Park is my favorite band. Coldplay is my best friends favorite band. They were both touring this summer and my best friend and I were going to be able to see our favorite bands together just weeks apart. When Chester passed I was utterly devastated. And this Coldplay concert was SO healing and beautiful and exactly what my sad soul needed. I started sobbing when he started singing. I was at a loss for words. I so badly wished I could have hugged Chris and just said thank you. I still look back at this moment in awe. It was such a beautiful night and this moment will forever hold a special place in my heart.

I'm going to Houston to see coldplay in a few weeks and I'm hoping people watch instead of talking the whole time.. with being my first coldplay concert and coming a long way to see them I want to enjoy it.. without being annoyed 😂.. Chris sang that song from the heart..u could tell he was struggling but he did his best and that's what counts.. He's the best

When you're struggling with depression sometimes your only source of light in your darkness comes from other people and those so-called fans puked their vitriol all over Chester's last artistic expression as well as this moving tribute. I know this performance is highly criticized, but as someone who is and will always be a huge Linkin Park fan, and was actually at this show... this was beautiful and healing. Linkin Park is my favorite band. Coldplay is my best friends favorite band. They were both touring this summer and my best friend and I were going to be able to see our favorite bands together just weeks apart. When Chester passed I was utterly devastated. And this Coldplay concert was SO healing and beautiful and exactly what my sad soul needed. I started sobbing when he started singing. I was at a loss for words. I so badly wished I could have hugged Chris and just said thank you. I still look back at this moment in awe. It was such a beautiful night and this moment will forever hold a special place in my heart.

What an amazing tribute to one of the greatest if not the greatest singer-songwriters who ever lived RIP Chester. As a fan of music I have a very eclectic music taste for example I Love Coldplay and I also love Linkin Park and they are both very different genres of music.
