    rv toilet paper test
    septic safe paper
    Test focuses on 3 factors:
    - how fast does each paper dissolve in water?
    - how tough is each paper?
    - how soft is each paper?
    Compare toilet tissue, and have some fun with it too.
    You may be surprised at the results.

    I don't live in an RV, but it's great to know as someone living on septic, too!

    Great video, great job very thorough. Thank you for doing the “wipe” test on your arm! 🤣 Kirkland is our favourite at home but is the worst for the black tank. RV stuff is too expensive. Purex is the big winner!

    If i could give a suggestion from our rv experience. If you really miss your Charmin don't fret. You can wad your rough toilet paper up and then take just 2 squares of Charmin or any premium soft brand and put it on top and Wala you have a tushy friendly and tank friendly experience.

    Awesome! What’s the difference between the Pyrx and a Pyrx premium? Is one softer?

    • @rvingitup
      @rvingitup  2 года назад

      Good question! As far as we are concerned, we found no difference at all between the Purex and the Purex premium.

    interesting comparison, I assumed the RV paper would win, now I know better!

      Even the Great Value paper from Walmart and the PC Green fared as well as the RV paper. We were surprised as well, but happily!

    why "great value" didn`t make top five as per your own admission it was breaking down almost as fast as if not faster than the purex and more than the camper chem ?

    • @rvingitup
      @rvingitup  2 года назад +1

      You are absolutely correct. The PC green is also great. We just chose the top 5, but great value definitely is a good choice for your RV too.

    How about none! Use the wash clothes assurance, nice and clean and throw in garbage

    • @rvingitup
      @rvingitup  11 месяцев назад

      That is definitely an option, but not the one we choose.

    Great test, but I thought two ply was a no no..

    • @rvingitup
      @rvingitup  3 года назад

      The two-ply broke down well. And remember, even the Camco "RV paper" is two-ply. As far as I'm concerned, as long as it breaks down then it's a good choice.

  • @johnt1276

    Are all 2 ply paper?

    • @rvingitup
      @rvingitup  2 года назад

      All but one of them were 2-ply. The Thetford "camp paper" was the only single ply in our comparison.

    Yes but you are not using the chemical that breaks it down you are only using water...even our city sewage plants use something to break it down

    • @rvingitup
      @rvingitup  3 года назад +3

      It broke down with just water. We add Happy Camper to the black tank, which breaks it down even more. We have had great luck with using these toilet papers, but that is us. You must make your own choice that best suits you.
