The fans in Argentina for either Soccer teams and Rock bands is on another level . Also they don’t have the same concerns for capacity or the general safety of the attendees. Been to a soccer game there and it was intense.

Canadá. Mi familia es Italiano pero la familia de mi papá eres en Buenos Aires y La Plata por mas de 20 años antes de emigrar a Canadá. Yo soy hincha de Boca he estados en muchos partidos en Mar De Plata y en La Bombonera. La gente en Argentina son único en muestra de la pasión por fútbol , Rock , comidas....todos.

I was there and still can't find words to describe the sensations of that concert. It was a party, the best party of my life. I saw some 50 old Bad Boys with his hairy beards and leather jackets crying when they passed the last police control to enter the stadium. It was crazy. Happy times that will last forever.

I was there!!! Three nights. December 2, 4 and 6, 2009. I will never forget it. Only one thing, the same set list in exactly the same order those three nights...
ANGUS YOUNG, lead guitarist for AC-DC, is called the “guitar demon”; and he admitted that something takes control of the band during their concerts: “...it’s like I’m on automatic pilot. By the time we’re halfway through the first number someone else is steering me. I’m just along for the ride. I become possessed when I get on stage” (Hit Parader, July 1985, p. 60).

This is one of the last concerts with all of the band members still together before Malcolm Young's death and yes even the original drummer Phil Rudd

AC/DC formed in 1973, but four of the members at this gig had been in the band (on and off) since 1977. The exception is the singer Brian Johnson, who replaced the legendary Bon Scott (RIP) in 1980. Since then, Malcolm Young has passed away, Brian Johnson had hearing issues, Phil Rudd had legal issues, and Cliff Williams retired, just leaving Angus.
Rumour has it that the the band (Angus, Brian, Cliff, Phil and Stevie Young (nephew)) are recording an album and will tour again.
That rumour has been going on for quite a while now. I don't think AC/DC will perform again.

Believe it or not these guys were in their 50's in 2009 & are a very popular band, but I guess by the crowd you guessed that. Not bad live. In Argentina they played to over 200,00 + audience in 3 nights. They just began another sell out tour in 2024.

There were 80k people, but the good thing is ACDC did 3 gigs in a row that time so more than 200k went to watch them.

This concert was held in 2009. Their first return to Argentina in over 12 years. It was a 3 day event, each night was sold out. Total number in attendance was over 180,000 with 60,000+ people per night.

From what I know, AC/DC had 3 nights in a row at that Soccer Stadium, which holds 60000 in the stands. How many they actually had at all 3 sold out shows varies from 180,000 to 300,000.
To really have some fun...you can listen to most of the songs played at these shows at River Plate on RUclips. As another RUclipsr put it...."It's not legal for a crowd to be that lit!"
According the the video case, there were 200,000 + people there... Incredible!

According to the study conducted during the AC DC shows in December 2009, the vibrations would be 17 times above the maximum allowed. What would generate effects on buildings and people. For its part, the City Government, through the Environmental Protection Agency of the City Government, carried out an evaluation by the Engineering Faculty of the University of Buenos Aires.
According to the report, the problem would not be found in the amplitude of the sound but in the vibrations of the mass jump, commonly known as "pogo." For this reason, at the beginning of 2010 the Buenos Aires justice ruled a ruling that prohibited the use of the River Stadium for the performance of recitals.

Estuve en los dos 96 y 2009 crecí escuchando AC DC GUNS METALLICA OZZY DEEP PURPLE ETC. y no se si me pego el viejazo o que pero a mi particularmente me gustó más el del 96 que este ellos distintos ....
Y la gente también en 2009 mucha gente que se puso una remerita y fue .muy de moda las bandas clásicas
