Taks are one of the best built machines on the market! Great choice! Side note be sure to let it warm up on start up we had a TL12 go through 3 turbos before an update and that was in less than 600 hours, Tak/Kubota came with a update to not allow unit to move till a certain time frame allowing the turbo to get oiled up!
Great machine. I have the same one. The bucket release pins tend to break not the pin itself but where it hooks to the ears. Easy to replace on site. It's from keeping the button for the quick release pushed to long I would guess. It bends at the tension spring.
Looks good man! I still think kubota is a better overall unit but they don't make one quite that big. I've ran several skids over the years.... Bobcat 783, t190, a300, t250, t550, mt55, t650, s770 and probably a couple more. New holland l223, l225, l228 John deere 326 and 330 And 1 kubota svl95. No questions the kubota is what I like the best followed by bobcats.
Stop by, I'll show you one. Quick connect has been a constant problem, the mounting plate is irregular sized so some attachments fall off, blew a turbo at 4000hrs, loud, broken joysticks, HVAC doesn't work, sticky throttle.
Great machines! We are on our 3rd Takeuchi loader... a 2016 TL12. We run a Branco MM60 head on it or their Groundshark for the lighter stuff. Great machine. Hydros do heat up tho working here in Texas. Wish it had a reversible fan. May add the aux cooler on top light u mentioned. Also have a TB175. I think its comparable in size to your 080. Those keys look like door keys.. new property, trailer, house, a shop to do all the gear wrenchin’ in!?
New shop or property maybe the property that I think it was a person who inherited the property it had a few house and a barn or 2. First video I watched of yours thought well ain't that a kick in the pants! A top notch channel made in California and only 2 hours away. #BADCHERRY
there is enough room on the rocker switch panels for an additional switch to control the back up beeper.. so you can have it or you can turn it off.. just thought you should have an option..
Hey V-Belt...crazily enough on my new 12R2 as I was using my ripping attachment the leverage apparently was so strong (or the universal attachment locking pins real poor quality metal)....that they bent and sheared right off in about 1/2 a second. Global said they never heard of anything like that before. Nor had I... Careful
Great video Sam hope you enjoy the new toy and if you don't like the videos you don't have to thumb down just don't watch it if I could thumb up twice to remove one thumb down I would
Straight pipe it. Only thing I noticed that might be annoying to me switching attachments is the little door on top of the disconnect. The case I’ve run and cat had the buttons on the front pillars but swing open front door.
The biggest thing I hate about my rigid undercarriage on my kubota is road travel. Didn’t really plan on using it as much for other things when I got it, I didn’t think I’d be driving it all over but it’ll shake your brains out. I need a 6 way blade for it though I’m jealous of that haha
I have the Kubota svl95 to and it is an awesome machine it is 96 horsepower and the tak there is 115 and I think. Looks to me like a awesome awesome Beast of equipment I would love to operate that thing congratulations killer machine ! I believe that thing is a class above the Kubota 95 cause it is 1000 pounds heavier I think
great video and appreciate the support. going on 8years working for them here in pendergrass GA and i still love it every single day. id like to ship a hat or something your way man message me and we’ll get something your way. 👍🏾
Case/New Holland is the current skid steer to beat. Hate the caterpillars, bobcat has some weird harmonic vibrations that numb my hands, interested to try the jcb tele skid.
Why the R2 over the V2? I believe radial lift skid steers have slightly higher weights they can lift over vertical lift skid steers, so I was just wondering if that played in to your decision
i have watched a lot of reviews on skid s and i think you have made the best choice back in May... here it is in August and just wondering have you had any issues at all
Also, I hope your door works better than mine. My dealer put in the kubota munching door idk if it’s the extra weight or what but it’s a pain to get to latch up without putting your back into it
Could you drop a link to your screw type quick couplers? I've been looking for something like that locally with no luck. Thanks for the awesome content :)
Come on man you don't drive the machine you run or operate it! Lol just a pet peeve. Those are really good looking machines, just don't let it idle too much you shouldn't have many problems, on the 12's most issues I've heard of are def related. I put 6000 hours on my TL 10, you would never know without looking at the meter
The company that I work at started to buy those machines but they got read of them . There complaints was slow hydraulics and were very heavy and pore traction .
V-BELT and SON I did take close look at one even sat in it and was surprised at how stout that beast is. I’ve looked at a few and it stands out for sure, well done Jim and Global!
If you keep this machine for a minimum of 10 years, then I agree with your purchase. Otherwise you are wasting your money for a shiny machine. You need be greasing the machine prior to using it every day...every day. If you take care of it, it will take care of you.
I have a bunch of videos on those subjects. Check out my newest video with the machine. All in all I am very happy with it. Works great all the time. No issues
Hey Ole'Red how old is your bosses TL140? My uncle has three of those old girls and one just hit 11,340 hrs and it is still running. Ya old. His new younger models are designed even better for durability and servicing. Happy Operating!
Lovin your videos , spoke with John (Up State Underbrush) and I was wondering if you would give me a buzz about windshields on skid steers. Before I destroy or speak desparingly about a product I would like to have your input. My story comes with gory photos. Blessings to you

How many minutes does that take?
congrats on the new unit. I have 3 takeuchi units for my excavation business, tl130 and tb135 and tb145 .they have been great built very heavy duty.
Very nice machine Sam ! I used to have an old Takeuchi mini digger. I was very happy with it 💪
You won't be disappointed with the TL12! Most solidly built skidsteer in my opinion.
just found your video and just purchased a used takeuchi tl-12 r2 2017 model with low hours and absolutely love it
Great machine. I have the same one. The bucket release pins tend to break not the pin itself but where it hooks to the ears. Easy to replace on site. It's from keeping the button for the quick release pushed to long I would guess. It bends at the tension spring.
Like the new tool. Guessing u bought a bigger property for u and Taylor and the pups. Good luck👍🏻🇺🇸
That’s an awesome machine! I’m sure you’re extremely happy to have a rubber track machine!
Now that's an awesome machine. I don't have a skid steer but I have operated a few. That looks like one that would do the work.
One of the best machines you will own in my opinion
Nice machine. The more I learn about the Takeuchi loaders the more I'm considering one. I like Kubota but these have a Kubota engine. Its a win win.
That was my Same thought process
Nice skidder. Good to see you growing your business
Man .awesome machine I have a tl 130 and I never have a hidraulic problem . Congratulations bro
A rented the TL-12 for a 1 day rental to move some dirt and man it's a nice machine! Made me want to buy one but I can't justify the cost haha!
Super nice ! good luck in 2022
I used to talk crap about takeuchi until i spent some time in one. My favotite machine by far
Congrats man! They are a beast for sure! 💪🏻
Great machine. Congratulations on the purchase. Gotta like the CT3 sweatshirt. Way to support the fellow youtuber. We have 2 kubota sv 75's
Definitely the loudest back up beeper in the industry
I run a takeuchi tl140 at work and I love it
Love the colors on the Takeuchi.
Looks good man! I still think kubota is a better overall unit but they don't make one quite that big.

John deere 326 and 330
And 1 kubota svl95.
No questions the kubota is what I like the best followed by bobcats.
Cat 299C 2009 model. Pre emission. That's a nice Tak! Cab is huge!!
Very nice machine, congratulations! We have a Bobcat T595 and a Bobcat E20 mini ex.Very satisfied but not the power of the TAK!
I've had a bobcat 863 forever now and it's as dependable as they come but that is a nice rig with all the fancy features makes me want a new one
I’ve got an 853 and she’s taken it hard, had the tires literally worked off of it and it just keeps going.
We bought about 20-30 TL12's earlier this year. They've all been working on the fire cleanup and not a single issue so far. These things are stout!
Mike Dankbar yeah buddy I like to hear that! Where abouts you working at?
@@VBELTandSON I work for H&E Equipment out of Sacramento. Check out my instagram @dankbar
Congrats Hun, Hope ya make us more great videos with your awesome machine. Hugsss
Ive yet to see any takeuchi machine that isnt brilliant. Reliable and smooth. Class leaders

Very nice review, Really nice machine!
there is enough room on the rocker switch panels for an additional switch to control the back up beeper.. so you can have it or you can turn it off.. just thought you should have an option..
Just bought my first!
08 TL 240 for skidding and log handling for saw mill. I'm getting to old to use a cant hook for everything.
That case minatour would make an interesting woods rig mulch rig.
Hey V-Belt...crazily enough on my new 12R2 as I was using my ripping attachment the leverage apparently was so strong (or the universal attachment locking pins real poor quality metal)....that they bent and sheared right off in about 1/2 a second. New subscriber from Italia here. I like your style of working. Great videos. I have a 1 year old tracked Kubota. I had a JCB robot rubber tired.
Great video Sam hope you enjoy the new toy and if you don't like the videos you don't have to thumb down just don't watch it if I could thumb up twice to remove one thumb down I would
Damn that thing is sweet, Tak track loader is my next purchase. this one would be nice but a little rich for our diet right now
Straight pipe it. Only thing I noticed that might be annoying to me switching attachments is the little door on top of the disconnect. The case I’ve run and cat had the buttons on the front pillars but swing open front door.
backwoodsriders I wish haha
How do u like those kubota motors? My father in law has a kubota svl 95-2. Things a monster. Only skid I’ve ever driven personally but I love it
Nothing like a new machine 😎
Oh oh you got to have them CDL insta pull that one pull it down the road God bless
The biggest thing I hate about my rigid undercarriage on my kubota is road travel. Didn’t really plan on using it as much for other things when I got it, I didn’t think I’d be driving it all over but it’ll shake your brains out. I need a 6 way blade for it though I’m jealous of that haha
Sledhead 600 yeah I drove it down the highway just cuase haha she moves fast but yea little rattle your brains out action

Wow great machine
How do you like it after several years of use? Still you preferred brand?
ASV 120 forestry all the way!
Meh I’m not a fan. Love the Cummins tho
Awesome video!! And top seacret project (my guess based on your Instagram story) is you and your GF bought a house!
We run a cat 299dxhp with a hm315b mulcher and a davco 72hdss in north Mississippi.
Why the R2 over the V2? I believe radial lift skid steers have slightly higher weights they can lift over vertical lift skid steers, so I was just wondering if that played in to your decision
Brandon Cooper to open in the back for forestry work. Collect to much chips and such. That’s the main reason
You bought a new piece of property in the garage and workshop that's what the second set of keys is for that you got in your hand am I right
i have watched a lot of reviews on skid s and i think you have made the best choice back in May... here it is in August and just wondering have you had any issues at all
Just used one at work it was badass
I’m guessing new shop or you are putting house locks on your truck¿ lol awesome skid steer! Thanks
Also, I hope your door works better than mine. My dealer put in the kubota munching door idk if it’s the extra weight or what but it’s a pain to get to latch up without putting your back into it
Sledhead 600 yeah heard a few issues with door but I rather like it over the competitors doors. Time will tell tho
Top secret 🤔 maybe a new truck or a big Prime Tech...? 🤷🏻♂️
Dixie Mae ahhh 🤷🏻♂️

Do you have many problems with tree huggers interfering with your job?
lol not for awhile. we hug the trees before we cut them.. gives us an ok in the tree hunger community hah #loophole

Those are keys to a door! I hope its a couple more acres with a nice size shop on it!
Thanks for sharing👍👍👍
you were standing next to this machine at global haha I had them keep it underwraps until we knew for sure we were gonna throw at it haha
V-BELT and SON I did take close look at one even sat in it and was surprised at how stout that beast is. I’ve looked at a few and it stands out for sure, well done Jim and Global!
My boss just got 1 I love it and it is like a little bull doser
Great video good info real
How do you like it now after 10 months of use?? What has gone bad? Any troubles to mention?
Love it. No issues so far 250 hours
@@VBELTandSON how does keeping the debris out of it go? My case is sorta a pain to keep stuff out of the engine bay and belly.
Sam how do you tune the head for the different jobs you do.??
Ok, nice rig. So how much? Why is disclosing price such a huge deal?
ArthurDentZaphodBeeb prices change from dealer to dealer. I don’t wanna give you a high number scare you off or a low number and get your hopes up.
You’ve changed my mind on takehuchi 😎 I’m considering case, ASV, cat and now takehuchi. Thanks man 😎👍
lot of oil patch clearers use tl12 for 1k-1500 hrs when they start to suffer from that hard use and sell. no cats, no bobcats, some asv. solid.
I see you have a peterson saw mill . Do you use it lots?
Letsdig just got him one of those
He really likes it

Does that have enough reach to load a tandem dump truck?
Is that a band or circular saw mill next to the skid
👍👍👍👍👍
Nice vib....Go Global..!
your going to Eat some tasty fried chicken in your new home nd shop??
enjoy! the fruits of your labor Big S.. You too Boone !
I would say you and Taylor are going to move in together
Takeuchi ftw
Hey man considering buying one of these what do you hate about it what do you wish was different what do you wish you could change
I have a bunch of videos on those subjects. Check out my newest video with the machine. All in all I am very happy with it. Works great all the time. No issues
So what kind of quick connect couplers are those?
we have 7 bobcat skid steers 2 t630s 1 t650 1 s250 1 t190 2 t595
It could be a new building as well....🤔
Dixie Mae hahaha... I hope not 😅
mikestrucks haha god no! No more damn mustangs
V-BELT and SON I knew I could count on you 😬🙌🏻
Dixie Mae that would be cool 😎
Did you consider the John Deere 333G? I demoed both and ended up with the 333G.
Are you only doing dirt work?
Won’t run a mulcher head with the Deere for long.... I know of two machines with cooked motors from mulcher a here locally
Nice 👍
They are nice but with the def on it sucks on fuel
I like to take a hoochies I like them better than caterpillar God bless
Very well thought out machine brilliant well worth the money I think ,old jimmy WA
Who going to be the first one to “scratch paint”?
My boss has a Takeuchi 140 and it sucks it has no power at all. It broke down yesterday with a bad starter.
Ole' Red that an excavator?
Hey Ole'Red how old is your bosses TL140?

Dave LaRiviere it’s a 2008 and I believe it has about 7000hrs. It’s been low powered it’s whole life though

Does this skid steer have creep mode?
You bought a house???? Is that the big top secret project
Looks like door keys to a house.
What is the switch next to the fuel and def fill?
Tampa Bay Dan when fueling hit the button and it beeps faster the fuller it gets so you don’t over fill
I got a new Kubota svl75-2 first part of April
