hey, thanks a lot for making these really helpful videos! I had no idea what my lecturer was teaching in school but your videos made the concepts clear to me instantly. currently doing last minute revision for exam tomorrow watching the videos :))
@@EngineeringMindset Hourly analysis program(HAP) it is the software and it is used to find heat and cooling load calculations by giving required parameters.
So we can say the main differences between CAV and VAV are the motorized damper unit with its complimentary accessories which will control the air volume for thermal comfort and the working time and power of the AHU for energy saving purposes?
Hey Paul, thank you for your clear explanation of a CAV system. It's really helping me out! I have a question: is there also such thing as a terminal 'recool' instead of a terminal reheat for CAV systems?
You could do it but it's very expensive to make, run and maintain. Much easier for the central plant to do. Otherwise just add a split unit in the room
Each zone should have it's own temperature sensor to which the dampers in the mixing box will change position to hit the correct supply temperature as required to the location. Sometime multiple small rooms can be classed as one zone.
Can't you just install dampers before the diffusers, so you can adjust them manually in order to control the cold air flow? So you could adjust this flux according to the thermal load
It's not as easy as that. You need to calculate it and the method you use depends on the design of the pipework and location of the pump/s. You should have a "description of operation" and commissioning data sheets for your building, check these.

I have started working on HVAC systems; this channel helps me a lot! Kudos to you
Just found your channel and I gotta say I found a gold mine. Keep up with the brilliant work, bro!

Very Good for teaching & learning purpose. Tqvm
Thanks a million times Sir
great job man !
Thank You so much for your videos !!
Can you please make videos on HAP sofware..
how to calculate loads with the help of Hap !!
Not sure what Hap is?

Excellent Knowledge
Thank you Paul!!
very good videos, but if u mind, u have to add the selection ways using catalogs & types with pictures
Which system occupies the least floor area? VAV, CAV, FCU or underfloor A/C system?
excellent videos.
Great videos! Will you be making videos about Boilers?
great work tjanks

+John Ron correct.
CAV you get what you're given
VAV you get what you need

hello, there is no Turkish subtitles in this video. Can you add Turkish subtitles? Very good information! thanks.
We have that in CLEVELAND CLINIC ABU DHABI, vav and cav.
With regards to the dual-duct CAV, Is there a thermostat in each room allowing temperature control per room?

The Engineering Mindset The dual duct can be seen as vav?
please upload fan coil unit working video please sir

Yes that's a VAV system, check this video ruclips.net/video/HBmOyeWtpHg/видео.html
Nice vedio,
If the total flow rate of all AHU and FCU in the building = 311 L/S

What's provide maintenance CONSTANT VOLUME BOX?
Why is there 2 videos about cav
The last room will receive low air that's a negative
Cav hvac system study higher despensive words web way
👍
