Coverage of topic from technical point of view required....such as Filtration standards, it's specification...filter efficiency... etc
Hi and thanks for this Video. I try to get 2 years service from bag filters and only change them when the pressure drop is at the max level. Replacing or washing primary filters regularly is key to this. Regarding power savings when filters are dirty.....there really aren't any. A direct-on-line fan motor (no vsd) runs at a fixed rpm whether the filter is dirty or clean. There is a dP formulae to calculate the extra energy used when the filter is dirty, it is tiny. The real problem is reduced airflow.

Are there any technologies in filters which helps in reducing cost/energy /increase filter changing frequency?

i have a qoustion , the air filter of air conditioning unit has to be replaced evrey 3 or 6 months ?or moor than that ?
Can these filters can filter out pm 2.5 micron or smaller particles?
Bag filter, is it more pressure loss than pleated filter ?
isn't necessary to use a pre filter before the primary so it can catch the big particles in order to prolong the primary filter life?

depends on the application and how dirty the incoming air will be as well as how expensive the filters are.
So, this is for commercial buildings I'm guessing, because 2" thick filters aren't particularly common in homes and I've never seen that other type of filter before.
