Just waiting for it to be in stock.. Saw today you're working on the harness! My money is waiting! Can't wait, really excited, thanks for the hard work and dedication! Nice color choice btw, I have the same!
how are you able to hook up the stock head unit to work with the amps? would it be possible to install an eq, speakers, tweeters, subs, and amps, with the factory head unit?
Hi, Didn't need to run any wires to the rear. The amp and battery are in the trunk. Used our Bose harness to tap for audio signal and wired the sub amp to the battery. Very simple process. Didn't have to take anything apart or snake any wires to the back.
Where did you ad the remote wire ? my amp wont turn off if i hook it up to the bose power cable. i even tried running it out of the fuse box using the radio fuse ....PLZ HELP
These systems are all digital now and you can no longer intercept the input signal like in the old days. In other words, you need the amp to de-scramble the signal and then it can be intercepted. Which only means the stock amp has to remain in play. But at least that signal can be fed into a decent aftermarket amp for better sound.
Just depends what you are looking for. Rear fire is undoubtedly louder and deeper. If you have no extra sound deadening, you will experience trunk rattles. Front fire is definitely cleaner and crisper and less rattles, but overall output is sacraficed a tad and that's simply due to the shortening of the soundwave. So again, it's what you are specifically looking for and that's why we do offer both.
