    Just watched Unsolved Mysteries Legacy documentary and the director of Rainboy talked about it and said the last day the entire crew staying in the hotel woke up to 2" of water in their rooms and in the hallway. He said it was strange and wasn't sure if Don Decker was connected. The producer also confirmed this and called the hotel lobby and they didn't know why.

    The "Rainboy" episode is by far one of my favorites. Not because it was an excellent episode, but because of the unintentional humor I got from it. I remember when I was a kid, me and my siblings started saying "I have powers that you don't. I can make it rain" and everyone thought we had lost our minds. My dad thought it was hilarious and asked why we were saying that to which we later showed him this episode when it aired and sure enough, he also laughed and later began telling my mom "Love, I have powers that you don't. I can make it rain" I miss my dad.

      i mean c'mon don't you think if something extraordinary happens there would've have been someone out of any of those possibilities to take a picture or film or anything? I understand it was the 80s/90s where it would have been difficult to do but my god, produce some evidence man!

      So yeah there are many reasons why these people would lie about this. That or just the fact to get more people to join the church. Just like all those people lied about the crying virgin Mary statues and other hoaxes done just for them to say see we were right its all true.

    The "Rain Man" episode scared the crap out of me when I was barely 10 years old. My Family and I used to watch this show weekly. I had so many nightmares. That story is the most puzzling episode of all time with the amount of very good eye witness testimony from reputable witnesses such as Police Officers and Corrections Officers including the Warden. I always chalked up the leaking water to snow which somehow gotten into the attic from holes or cracks and froze until it thawed one day and leaked down the walls and dripped. But multiple locations? Crazy.

      I live very close to where this took place, and I can tell you that it definitely wasn't snow lol, this case in my opinion is the most credible paranormal events in history!!! My father was a police officer in central Pa when I was just a little kid and when this happened I was in my early teens and my father had a lot of friends and what took place in Stroudsburgh Pa with Donnie Decker definitely happened actually a few thing's that happened were actually left out , but to this day people question the authenticity of this story but I can say with 100 % confidence that this actually happened, could you imagine if that happened to you? Pennsylvania is one of if not the most haunted state in America, I was the biggest skeptic I knew as far as people I knew and in the area I lived at the time of my paranormal encounter which took place in a very small town called Girardville pa. and my encounter took place in 1989 , I believed in ghosts and spirits but had a hard time believing that I would have an encounter however that changed and now whenever I hear someone talk about an encounter I really listen closely because you can tell when someone is being honest especially if they have other witnesses. And I had another witness who saw the same thing I saw , a girl I was dating and this actually happened at her brother's house which had a very old grown in cemetery directly next to the house.

But I used to be a skeptic before I experienced paranormal activity during a Christmas party in Ancaster, Ontario, at a place called "The Old Mill" where 4 American soldiers were hanged by the British in the war of 1812. I literally seen a ghost of a red coat warming his hands over a fireplace. I even took a photo of him. I talked to the ghost and said "nice costume" but he disappeared in front my eyes. I had to take a defensive drivers course in Austin Texas ; this ex cop taught the class. He would tell us past experiences while being on the field as a officer. He told us one experience that is almost similar to the rain story. He and his partner were called into a home in East Austin where water was being thrown at the tenants ( like spitting) . He said he walked into home but his partner was hesitant but the minute the partner walked into home he walked back out and refused to take the case. The ex police officer said he saw some weird unexplainable events .

      When I was 8 years old I was going to private school and just got saved in school during a ''worship Wednesdays''. The next day I came home from school and my neighbor had a wooden devil doll. I told her it was demonic and God could destroy it if he wanted it. She said yeah sure prove it. I said ''In the name of Jesus fall to pieces''. It's leg fell to the floor. I said it again and another limb fell off. She ran home screaming and I felt pretty in awe myself. Will never forget that. Either some kids can tap into telepathic powers or it's all real.

    Don Decker is one of the greatest segments of this show. So many questions about Don himself like how his grandfather would’ve only been 49 if he started abusing him at age 7. Just seems so bizarre it was “physical” abuse and not sexual. How wouldn’t of Don’s parents seen marks on him? Why wasn’t Don’s father ever abused? How could a young Don keep that completely inside, and not confide in his mother? His grandfather apparently had the whole family fooled when they mourned his loss which infuriated Don. There’s got to be a lot than what he told, the whole “good vs evil” as he thought of it. Don’s whole demeanor is just weird in general, “that’s when I thought I could do things.” The fact that 10 people including Don go on record, and say what they saw is just mind boggling. You can see that these are regular people with nothing to gain, and are literally telling you the story as if they can hardly believe it themselves.

      First off - that's just what he said. Physical, he could have also meant sexual, or perhaps don left that out. Perhaps he only beat him in certain areas to not leave a mark, but inflict massive pain. Additionally, we dont know the family didnt know, from experience I can tell you sometimes they do know, but look the other way, and then deny that they knew. Lastly, it is very common for children to not tell adults - again I have experience. They arent believed, they are threatened, etc.

    • @user-ip9ru1os3o
      @user-ip9ru1os3o 2 года назад +17

      The term 'physical abuse' is a euphemism for SA. It's common for some people to describe it that way when they're still struggling with the reality of it.
      And, to be frank, it's pretty common for kids to be taught to keep secrets or that their parents/family won't believe them.
      Don's behavior and history fits with CPTSD based in childhood trauma pretty well, honestly.

    Rainboy had a stronghold of unforgiveness towards his father that provided an open door for a demon(s) to come in and possess him. He needed to forgive his father for all he did to be delivered from it. That's why the manifestations would subside whenever a preacher was praying The Lord's Prayer over him "as we forgive those who trespass against us". He needed to repeat that prayer as a daily supplement to keep that demonic spirit away.

    One of my all time favorite episodes! I’d love to interview the rain boy on my channel! 🌧️🌧️🌧️

    This show is a real instance of something supernatural happening I saw this when I was young I’m 37 now and I think about it all the time and still have no idea what it means. I know someone does though and I don’t think we will ever know until we cross over unfortunately
