Great video as usual and glad you did one on this tool. Excellent tool ....I used an socket with an impact and it worked perfectly. Beat the daylights out of it.

I personally really like this kit and for an unusual application. Yes, it is very convenient for tight areas. But I also use it to get my kids involved with my builds. My kids don't have the strength or coordination to hold a drill and pull the trigger, but using this kit I can start teaching them to drive screws. I put the long snake and right angle attachment on my drill (that's the part they control) and then I get full control of the trigger. It's like a mini drill for them. Maybe a tool tip Tuesday? Just saying.

Those flexible extensions can come in handy. The only issue I've had with them in the past is if the fastener you are working with is too tight, the springy extension thing will just twist and not turn the head.

      @cnrbrd 2 года назад +2

This one is not like that, I know what your talking about. It's solid and well built, if you can get your bit into the head of whatever you're trying to drive using the extension, it will drive it!

If you’re a DIYer debating whether to get this or not…get it. You won’t regret it. I got one 6 months ago and have found multiple uses for it. Saved me a huge headache when replacing the draw fronts in front of the kitchen sink! Also used it in a couple other tight spot that I could have powered through with just a long straight extension but much easier to do it with this.

I have one of those that I got from home depot and it was yellow on black. The one I saw a Lowes was black on yellow. Home depot and Lowes have the same tool but the colors are reversed. It is handy. You have watch for the extension when torque over comes the drill and twist your hand.

Purchased this a month ago from the HD for $29 plus tax. Lowe’s has it as well but at the time was $10 more.
Also there’s a hole in the back of the head that allows you to use a pick to push out any short bits that may be problematic to remove.

@@ToolReviewZone I have the right angle with the removable handle without the flex section. It's a handy thing when I need it. I primarily use it for taking off ceiling fan blades when there is little clearance between the blade and the lid. Or for when the rear screw has little clearance.
For what it is worth I don't use the handle attachment all the time but I have used it and so far it hasn't broken but enough cold winters and hot summers and it likely will break eventually from being in the work van.

I have one and its awesomeness, not a gimmicky tool at all.
When you find need for it in tight spots it's extremely satisfying.
When you get to use the flex shaft it's even more satisfying because it's usually in some awkward spot that would have been a real pain in the ass without it.
I don't know how every manufacturer doesn't have the flex shaft thing figured out by now 🤷🏻
One minor complaint is the way short bits have to be ek ted by inserting a small random object through a hole in the back.
They should have a spring loaded button on the backside that you could just press to pop the bit right out.
It would be easy enough to do.
You're welcome Dewalt, if you read my comment & steal my idea...please send Clint a case full of the revised models to review & giveaway to all his awesome viewers because it's the cool thing to do.
Then don't forget to Smeesh dat like button on the way out 👍🏻🤙🏻👊🏻

Had to replace an old fart fan once in a weird house. So old that nails held it in, and it took me a while to find the hidden panel in the bath wall I could lift out to gain access to the attic space so I could sawzall the brackets from it spanning to the other joist.

I gotta real Nice Like idea for DeWalt. They need to come out with an impact attachment that'll make my Monster In Law vanish, along with her daughter's nagging voice. Id even camp out in front of Lowes for a week like those gamer nerds do at Game Stop to buy that sumbitch!! In fact, id buy one for each of my married buddies while im at it! 😁😁😁
