The #AnitaBaker and #Babyface# drama continues weeks after Babyface's set was canceled from Anita's tour stop in New Jersey due to technical issues. Just before kicking him off of her tour officially yesterday, Anita went back and forth with Babyface fans on Twitter and revealed he hates Beyoncé, which sent the BeyHive buzzin'! Babyface called on his fans to stop cyberbullying Anita, but they continued, causing Anita to remove Babyface from her tour due to "personal safety" reasons.

Well the crowd was confused . My husband and myself came to see Luther . She was an extra bonus . Can’t remember if she actually performed , but Luther was and always professional gave us all we needed. Now here we are talking about Anita , 30 years later. I was so pleased that she was making a come back and getting the flowers she deserves. She is the young Nancy Wilson. Please I hope this is all a miss understanding. Well as I remember it it was Luther's tour where he was the headliner not Anita and she left the tour...it was assumed because of some stuff with Luther but that was never confirmed or it could have been behind some personal issues which was the rumor at the time some 20something years ago.
@@pj195 Anita admitted that she and Luther had their 'beef' sometimes but still remained friends. She used to do a memorial section at her concert, honoring artists who have passed - a picture of Luther always featured.

Until now and all the years of being in the industry I have never heard about Anita scraping with anyone and according to both Anita and BF...the reason she asked him off the set was because of scheduling and time. His set was late with his set and she asked him not to come one because it would roll into her time. Now for those who know nothing about concerts this is how it goes when you are booked you are booked to perform from a time until a time or in minuets now if you are not the only one on the tour it all can be scheduled for 4 hours meaning you divide the time and you and your band who are usually union are being paid for that time and not a moment longer. The encores that are in some performances is added to what you and the venue agree upon. Some band members travel with the artist some are hired just for that event..so she being the headliner,answer this, you paid 200 to see anita and my understanding that an artist is required to at least perform a minimum of 15 minutes, would you be okay with that? Probably not, so in order to give people what they paid and fulfill her obligations, it only made sense for her to not perform that night, and my understanding he Babyface chose to leave the tour. And since he wrote a few of her songs, I doubt that he is upset or losing any money.

Anita Baker. I prayed for her comeback three years ago. I saw prophetic a health issue and prayed and fasted, However, her ego has manifested and cursed her blessing. She was told by her label back in the 80's to let L.A. and Babyface produce her next album and told the label she was going to remain with her producers and band "Chapter 8" and after L.A. and Babyface sent her demos for her album with reference tracks sung by a young Toni Braxton, she told them she was not interested. After they explained that they wrote the songs specifically for her and what should they do now, she responded with "Let the girl in the demo sing them". L.A. and Babyface did just that and Toni Braxton's entire first album was the songs meant for Baker. She was so successful, she knocked Baker out of the industry as old and dated. Bakers album flopped and the label dropped her as a gamble gone bad. She is trying to get payback because she is bitter. Ask Otis Smith, Chapter 8 and Luther what she is really like.

Wow have always loved her music but I never knew she tripped like that. It just so happened that I absolutely love Toni's 1st album and I can't imagine Anita singing those songs. It worked out just as it was supposed to.
