She definitely is which is sad cuz she's always been about love We need to give this Queen her roses now. She's not just talking sisterhood, she's walking it.
Monique is appreciated now. She is the only one bold enough to call it like it is and Hollywood and Lee Daniels dont want to be exposed. There is no REAL defense coming from Lee Daniels only what Monique did or did not do. She is speaking truth.
I have always appreciated her so I never thought about it this way until you said it, but you are so right. I just pray that she knows there are people out here who see how hard she is fighting and who understand how much it costs her to NOT bow down to the golden calf.

I love my boxers....Let me try to give you some perspective....We people of color feel the need to openly express pride about our "blackness" because the majority..... does the EXACT OPPOSITE. People of color are portrayed as less than, in every way. We are portrayed as lacking education, lazy, lacking ambition, incompetent, nasty, ugly.....the list goes on. We aren't acknowledged by the majority for accomplishments, often not even acknowledged as human, deserving of the same respect and dignity of the rest. When mass media covers "US" they usually show us being handcuffed, the ones who don't have a good grasp of the English language and so forth. It's therefore up to us to openly acknowledge that we are indeed capable and do in fact achieve in the same way every one else does. We are mature, ambitious, hard working, civil people. All we want is for the majority to accept that there's good bad and ugly in every race. What's tantamount however, is that we want the majority to acknowledge that WE BLACK people are just people, the same as the rest. Much respect!!
@@kellyannr4171 That was an excellent way of explaining it but the most important thing black people have to realize is that white people and those who are racist will NEVER accept you ,but they do need to respect you. The good traits about black people you mentioned , being hard working, mature, and all the other things are traits that should be "respected" however the reason they will never truly accept you are for reasons you have no control over. The color of your skin, your bilogical genes, are things the other reasons that spark racism. They will never accept you but they can and should respect you.
when she was talking about her husband and how she changes from mother to wife 'you upset my wife', that's exactly how my husband is and i love him for it so I know how much she appreciates her husband too
This was an absolutely beautiful exchange between Mo'Nique and Loni. Real women, dealing with real issues, displaying real sisterhood. We need a lot more of this in our world.
And thats why Hollywood tried to Blackball Monique because she is real, uncut and understood that black actors and actresses need to keep eachother other close because the industry is not so kind
I agree. And also because she has a mind of her own. Lee Daniels and Steve Harvey said Monique wouldn't play the 'money game'. The game isnt for all celebs its for black celebs. They tried to keep her in a little box and she wanted to go her own way so she got blackballed despite her winning various amount of awards for her performance in the film 'Precious' its ridiculous. Hope she continues to remain humble and real.

Monique got black balled but refuses to quit. I like her drive and I hope she makes a comeback and gives the middle finger to Fox, BET, and Lee Daniels while in the process.
Jamal, you were not there. People, especially black people, need stop blaming the white man unless they can personally speak on a direct encounter. And even then "name" the individual or group, i.e. that person who did the actual behavior or that business entity, instead of generalizing all whites or all white men. To generalize is bias and racists in itself. Racism can ONLY END if we ALL make change in 2017 (and going forth).
Again, were you there? All he said, she said. Celebs make deals with the devil and cry foul when it doesn't go their way. Since the beginning, Hollyweird has been one seedy business. Again, people have names. Like blacks don't like being grouped and blamed as one, neither do whites. Until this double standard changes, racism will continue being alive and well and victim mentalities being born and fed. God gave ALL OF US freewill. We choose.
This is a TRUE heart of love and forgiveness. Building one another up, not tearing each other down. Love her spirit. Go Girl. Amazing hair, make up and black dress. Mo'Nique you rocked it.

I love this. The media often portraits us Black women like violent, loud and crazy people. But this is how we really are. Honest, humble and full of love.
I know the conversation between Mo'Noque and Loni really hit home with the other co-hosts too. That sounded all too familiar, let's keep it REAL with our Sistas!! So Lovely!
Dang it, Loni! 😭 Dang it, Monique! 😭 Sisterhood is a beautiful thing. No matter what Hollywood brings, that Real, Respectful & Unconditional Sisterhood will forever remain. ❤ Beautiful.
Monique's heart and spirit is just so welcoming. I love her so much. It is so good to see her in something again after that "blackballed Oscar" scandal.
Awwww that was beautiful! I love to see black woman, come together and sort things out... without the drama! Beautiful!!! So happy your back Monique😘😘😘👏🙌
loni has had so much pain in her life that her heart is softer than those white clouds on the sky! she is a true human-being with the soul! this show means so much to me, bcoz of the women like her. I love u Loni! your fans love u!
B Hutch She is blackballed. The industry gave her a bad reputation. Executives have problems with her because she’s demanding and outspoken in a profession where you can’t act that way as a minority.
Kudos to Mo"Nique for being mature and talking things out with Loni, like Loni said she could have easily been nasty to her but instead she showed maturity. Side note, how gorgeous does Tamera look with her curls?? Stunning!!

If you ain't real you can't get it. Monique is REAL. I met her last year and was so enchanted by her willingness to hug and speak with every fan after her stand up at the Improv in Tampa. She even called my Mother in Law over the phone just to say "hello". She's a real WOMAN.
Monique is such a powerful and beautiful woman.. and when she speaks aaah! I miss "The Monique Show" *We love you with two sugars baby* haha #ifyouknowyouknow !
I swear when Mo'Nique mentioned her 4 boys it really puts a light of fire in the room. My mom loved Mo'Nique when she was on "the Parkers" and Mo'Nique kind of reminds me OF my mom. As for her and Loni's reunion it really makes me feel good especially when I watch soul plane and seeing their sisterhood with soul and power. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Monique has that ancestor love. ITS TOUGH and it may come off harsh but if you’re listening with your heart you can hear the love and correction. My great grandmother who is still living today has the same kind of energy as well. I grew up feeling like my grandma hated me or just didn’t like me and now that I’m older and seen how she deals With us in the family I just come to realize she was giving me tough love like when someone hugs you reeeaalll tight to where it’s almost uncomfortable until you hug back and the grip gets a little more loose and you realize they were never squeezing at all you just didn’t receive it.
The first time I saw her on The Parkers I was impressed with how fly she was she always looks amazing and I love her style companies should hire her to model their stuff because she is really a Gallant fly foxy lady my uncles and brothers love her.
Mo'Nique's voice is so commanding...when she speaks, I listen ☺️

U said that preach
Monique has never been ugly but I've never realized how beautiful she's become. The older she gets, the wiser and more beautiful she becomes
Antonio Brooks Yes i watched her Breakfast Club interview and just gained so much respect for her.

With us in the family I just come to realize she was giving me tough love like when someone hugs you reeeaalll tight to where it’s almost uncomfortable until you hug back and the grip gets a little more loose and you realize they were never squeezing at all you just didn’t receive it.
I love the color and outfit on Loni!
That is so beautiful. It makes me want to be a better woman and friend. Thank you.
The Queen. I love her being REAL. A servant of God to show all of us, misunderstood vessels
Just seeing her walk into a room would make you want to cry tears of joy. Such a sweet soul.

Loni is really emotional...and this is coming from the biggest crier ever
She’s a cancer! Everybody knows cancers are cry babies. Most water signs are emotional
