In my 20's I was at one point foolish enough to believe that those who were older than me were more mature and had obtained more knowledge. I was wrong. It just depends on the person's on life experiences. You can't devalue someone's opinion because they are younger than you are. Not place more value on another person's opinion because they are older.

Adrienne suggested that there may have been another (more constructive) way for Monique to resolve her grievances and she was right because the way that she went about it was messy and brought no resolution or peace to anyone. I disagree in some aspects with your statement. There's many aspects to note that makes their experiences different: - Monique has been in the industry longer than Adrienne (all the way back to the 90s) -Monique was in the industry as a PLUS-SIZED woman, and a Darkerskined BLACK woman -Monique has been around more high level actors and producers than Adrienne. Her experience in the industry is more than Adrienne's all together. Although age is *not always* a factor, this is not the first time Adrienne has said things that come off as ignorant and naïve.. Even Loni has had to check her a few times. Nevertheless, like they said, this is the Real and they allow guest to come and have thoughtful discussions when there are past disagreements. That's life. And both Adrienne and Monique handled it respectfully.

I love and commend Adrienne for how she handled this situation. Older generations tend to feel as if the younger generations can not voice their opinions on something the older generation has done or is doing. Respect is a two way street and it doesn’t matter how old you are if you’re acting out of turn, being extra, being unnecessarily loud, etc; one has the right to call it like it is. I love that this show and the ladies allowed her to come on so they could talk it out, and although I don’t agree with some of the statements I love that a conversation was needed and a conversation was had!
The "baby" label is a bit much. I think she's low key judging Adrienne partly by her size, partly by her age - which she doesn't want people to judge her by. But I like that Adrienne stuck to what she said.

I am curious what age "old people" are. I will say I am older and I view things differently because of life experience. I believe in class, sophistication and being a lady. I don't believe in cussing because I don't feel it's ladylike. I was raised differently than many young adults. I came from a strict home where my parents did not spare the rod. I believe in respecting the elderly. I would never disrespect an elder or mother. That being said, Monique is right, Adrienne doesn't have the life experiences that she does. It is nothing wrong with it, but her point is valid
Well, I am not 50-65 yet. I don't think she dismissed Adrienne. I remember when I was 30, I didn't understand when people said that. It actually takes some age and experience to get it. As I look back now, I understand that I didn't get it. I thought that because I had gone through a lot that it gave me the wisdom of someone older. One day you will look back and see what I am saying now. It will also make you listen to your elders more. You'll see.

I agree with that statement, but I think when some of us get loud it’s because we are caught up in our emotions. And as far as age, some of us do get wiser with age because it comes with a lot of experiences. But it’s never a good thing to judge people. You really don’t know their journey. And not all people display their pain for the world to see. And we don’t know what meetings and conversations and comments this woman had or heard behind closed doors. Saying their has to be a better way. We can all say that. But what opinions or suggestions are giving? And how do you know she hasn’t tried them?

I disagree in some aspects with your statement. There's many aspects to note that makes their experiences different:
- Monique has been in the industry longer than Adrienne (all the way back to the 90s)
-Monique was in the industry as a PLUS-SIZED woman, and a Darkerskined BLACK woman
-Monique has been around more high level actors and producers than Adrienne. Her experience in the industry is more than Adrienne's all together.
Although age is *not always* a factor, this is not the first time Adrienne has said things that come off as ignorant and naïve.. Even Loni has had to check her a few times. Nevertheless, like they said, this is the Real and they allow guest to come and have thoughtful discussions when there are past disagreements. That's life. And both Adrienne and Monique handled it respectfully.
I do think agreeing to disagree is a resolution, and they did it in a way that did not create animosity.

They so eager to be recognized as being grown and they wonder why they find themselves in the same situations over and over again. It's because, they don't want to listen and learn from someone who has gone through before them. I'm 36 years old and still listen to the advice of my elders and when they are speaking I shut up and listen . I'm not sitting up there thinking of a response, but I really listen and apply their advice to my life and that's why my life has been so richly blessed through The Most High. In fact The Most High commands that the Older women supposed to teach the younger women and the older men teach the young men. I love and commend Adrienne for how she handled this situation. Older generations tend to feel as if the younger generations can not voice their opinions on something the older generation has done or is doing. Respect is a two way street and it doesn’t matter how old you are if you’re acting out of turn, being extra, being unnecessarily loud, etc; one has the right to call it like it is. I love that this show and the ladies allowed her to come on so they could talk it out, and although I don’t agree with some of the statements I love that a conversation was needed and a conversation was had!

Well, I am not 50-65 yet. I don't think she dismissed Adrienne. I remember when I was 30, I didn't understand when people said that. It actually takes some age and experience to get it. As I look back now, I understand that I didn't get it. I thought that because I had gone through a lot that it gave me the wisdom of someone older. One day you will look back and see what I am saying now. It will also make you listen to your elders more. You'll see.

Monique is what so many are not, she is a direct person! She says what she says and stands by it even if she is wrong in her opinion. Sadly, a lot of people confuse directness with truth. Just because you are real in what you say in that moment doesn’t mean it’s everybody else’s truth.

I love my girl A, but let’s press pause and revisit the original video that Mo is talking about. If you look at that, A was reeaaaaally strong with the “loud and boisterous” comments even to the point where Loni checked her. There was a lot of butt kissing to the other people mentioned and a lot less grace to Mo for her perspective of this story. As much as I agree that Adrienne is a grown woman, based off of what was said in the video they’re talking about, it makes sense why Mo came off as strongly as she did. I honestly think that the WAY Adrienne voiced her opinion during the original discussion is why you can sense the tension lol. Because others at the table said their opinion but she only really came for Ade. 🤷🏽♀️
