@@nico114334the movie was independent when it was filmed! Monique never complained about what she was paid! She did it to support her friend on his film project! So this was not a matter of being upset about low pay!
@@delretadonaldsonThe movie was an independant film with a small budget. That is important to mention when you talk about her salary. The entire budget of the film was low. Now she could have had royalties and residuals added to her deal to offset the upfront low salary. That seems to be where her and her team failed.

If this was made available much sooner I believe it would have balanced out a lot of the vitriol this legend has suffered through but that's okay; its delay makes her testimony of God's providence much greater. She literally weathered the storm of public persecution. Glad to see the sun coming out for her.
