I love your use of color! There are so many colors and yet you make it so cohesive. I don't think many artists can pull off that many colors without overwhelming the observer. Bravo!
Hello from Elvi, a member of the Art group you demoed for last night. Thank you for the information you shared, your joy and enthusiasm for art and tips.
I absolutely love ❤️ the technique you use, your paintings turn out so vivid, bright and fun. I just discovered your channel and would love to take a class and learn how to do this. Flowers are my favorite to paint. Keep up the amazing work 🎉🥳🤗
This was awesome! Can’t wait for the follow up. I took a screenshot of your original photo. Then I did a split screen between your video and photo. It was so helpful to see where you put the additional color and flourishes. Love your explanations. Thx so much for sharing.
I love the contrasts. The dark blue and yellows and oranges. I like that in color blocking you have delineated the petals with blues to show the petals. I also like the contrast of the squiggle colors upper left to off set the large sunflower. I do agree with u maybe a bit more light colors in upper and lower right corners. At one point u added an aqua color near a flower and wow that popped! Yes I love gardening too!!! I painted my banana tress.
I was just about to say I'd prefer those two dark spots lightened up a bit and then you pointed at them and said exactly that at the end of the video. That made me feel good to think I've got an eye similar to yours. Love your work.
Hey Julia! I just found your channel and I’m thrilled! Adore your work and happy colors. The red base is so perfect. What is the shade or name of the red you use? Thank for sharing your wonderful talent and tips!
New here, Sub'd, really love your work & your use of color... you are so cute & fun to hang with, thank you for sharing your talents with us. Can't wait to see all your video's❣
Really enjoying your videos. How do you decide on the colours that go on your palette at the beginning of a painting with your pieces being so vibrant?
I know it’s probably too late to post this, but just in case, when you had all of the flowers painted, and you started painting in the blue on the right side, it looked awesome! However, I thought it looked much better, and also looked more interesting when blue was on one side, and red on the other. Go back and look at it on your phone, and see what you think! Love your work! Where could I purchase one of your paintings?
Wow very nice Painting. I like you style in Painting. I still always follow you channel. I want to ask One questions what colour you tone the canvas . If i tone Red colour can or not
Many of your earlier videos ask for a comment, but the comments are "turned off" (rendering it impossible to leave a comment). I don't know if that was intentional or happened by accident, but I thought I would let you know. Good video, however, it would be helpful if you arranged the camera so we could see you selecting your paint colors on your palette.
When you are doing this, are you thinking color schemes and complementary colors and getting all that 'right'? Or do you go off the reference and just go where your heart takes you? I find myself struggling so hard with florals and all the colors and not making it 'too busy' or not following the right rules on picking complementary colors. I'd love your personal take on what you do!
Thank you! Would love you to talk through your thoughts on this process in the early stages of a painting and choosing colors. Nothing formal just how you process colors when starting a new painting! I enjoy your channel and can't wait to see your new content! @@juliaveenstraartist
I really enjoy the dark purples and the bright teals. So good 🤩👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
