so this is a t4e marker .43 cal correct. what ammo do you as the manufacturer recommend? the only plastic or will it run all types of t4e balls. I see people use the steel balls but that cant be ideal for longevity of wear parts. I bought an airsoft rifle years ago never having known they were very close to some firearms. I don't play I got it to train and become proficient will safe operation and then some tactical practice. I've since bought a bunch of stuff and am currently shopping for the new umarex Walther PDP compact t4e pistol but I'm not sure if this is overkill for me. does it operate like a marker or is it essentially a co2 blowback air gun. im just trying to get an idea of what this offers that would make it worth a non- law enforcement person to utilize it to irs fullest potential. I'm going to do some research on it this evening. I do know a little about to kwa force on force model. if you get a moment to suggest the best way for me to see this being used for its ideal purpose. if and when you get a moment if you know where I can find the best source to see this in action. appreciate the help much obliged. cheers

There have been a lot of questions about how the UNIT4 Training Rifles differ from traditional gas blow back airsoft rifles, so we wanted to address them. Airsoft rifles can be great training tools for sure. There are a couple key differences between the UNIT4 and traditional GBB Airsoft rifles, and the biggest difference is the quality of the materials we use in manufacturing. Our rifles are made from the same real steel materials that firearms manufacturers put into their rifles, so they're made to be durable goods that can withstand rugged training conditions and will continue to deliver at a high level over time. Think of it as a real rifle that’s been retrofit to shoot pneumatically. And because we've started with a real rifle and stripped out as few parts as possible to make it pneumatic, it has better performance in areas like felt recoil, mean time between stoppage and performance in rugged conditions. From a durability standpoint, you can treat the UNIT4 the exact same way you’d treat a real rifle. This goes for the magazines too; for example our magazines have been stress tested to withstand 300 drops onto concrete, unlike traditional airsoft magazines. Another key difference is that our system shoots marking rounds alongside of BBs. Finally, the rifle is made in America which does add cost but we are proud to have it made here.

So yes, the price of our rifle is higher than traditional airsoft systems because we built it with the same materials as the real M4 and we made it in America.
Please feel free to reach out to us directly for any and all questions!

I love Mike Glover, I've been a supporter of his for years now, first watching his "What to look for in an AR-15" video some 5 years ago.
With that caveat out of the way, this dude is a meathead.
I'm sure he's a swell guy, but if you're going to start the video by saying "This training rifle is a more professional grade than your airsoft toys," then proceed to demonstrate that this is EXACTLY like a modern gas blowback airsoft gun, then you immediately lose all credibility.
My airsoft guns are all the same size, [close] weight, and setups, as my real steel. I have an ACOG on my 20 inch rifle, so I have an ACOG on my 20 inch airsoft gun. I have an EOTech on my 11.5 inch "pistol," so I have an EOTech on my 11.5 inch airsoft gun. It's not rocket surgery.
Modern GBB airsoft guns are all metal, with MLOK, picatinny rails, and all the rest. This dude was super stoked about using his own sling, optic, and a flashlight - yeah, airsoft has had that for years now, all for under $1000 LOL
Hell, because the options are so limited, people use Zenitco furniture on their airsoft AKs!
So I'm sure this is a quality product, and I'm sure they got some good compensation for showing it off on their channel, if you're going to make a claim about how much better it is than airsoft, you should really know what there is to offer in that realm.

I think the goal of the company is to appeal to the pRoFeSsIoNaLs and LE departments across the nation. They shun a good airsoft idea for decades but when they see it in a shiny new wrapper, being pushed by credible people, they buy. Great marketing for a company that basically piggybacked an already successful product. However, it is getting more training in the hands of people who probably need it, so it is what it is😎
