In other words those who have a relationship with God. Not the church. Saying your Christian does not make you a person of God. It makes you a person of the man made church Jesus came to fight against.

Yes, I was raised in church, but then as an adult, an old friend reached out to me at a low time, and I saw the love and grace of God!! Thanks to her I was saved at her kitchen table!! Now I know my Lord in a very personal way and KNOW that I will spend eternity with HIM!! GOD BLESS YOU!! BTW, I am 72 now!! ❤🤗🙏🙏
I know plenty who say and repeat scripture after scripture, but they don’t live it, they don’t try. Seriously I’m worried for my husband who knows the Bible front to back, but doesn’t live it, I can’t remember scriptures worth a darn but I try so hard every day to do what god says. Who gets in ? I pray most do but I don’t think so. These people are on their deathbeds, and there is no scripture talking about or even indicating how this population is dealt with salvation-wise. Uncomfortable question I know, but it's baffling just how many people have that much pride that they only look at themselves and shut out an entire populace from salvation based on the fact they can't work to achieve it due to limitations.
Reminds me of a time. We had very actively shared about Christ, but we moved to a new area. We thought, let's just live our best life but not be too vocal. Let our lives speak for us. When we were moving a little over a year later, some of our good friends said, "You are the best Mormon's we ever met." We asked why they said that and they explained they had a negative view of most Christians (believers in Christ) but thought Mormon's were better. Lesson - live the life AND watch for every opportunity to lead others to Christ.
At 83 years old I quit calling myself a Christian a long long time ago. My answer is I am a believer of the whole word of God and a disciple of all the principals,commandments and precepts to follow. Romans 10:9-10 if you will confess with your mouth (out loud) the Lord Jesus and believe it n your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved! But then don’t stop there this is the first step go on to receive the Holy Ghost (power to overcome) Acts 2:38! Because you can be a follower of Jesus and not be filled with Holy Spirit! Take whatever you think one must do to be saved and then apply that to someone who is severely medically compromised, with say advanced stages of dementia. These people are basically vegetables on their deathbed, so what would they need to do to get saved or stay saved? Considering that scripture nowhere mentions anything about how this population is dealt with salvation-wise, and we know what scripture says about adding to the Bible... Or is it a case of you don't think this population is eligible for salvation based on their physical and mental limitations?

I sold everything I had and I moved to the country, I am now 65 mi from the nearest town and only go to town when absolutely necessary and that's pretty much only twice a month. My nearest neighbor is a half a mile away and I have only four neighbors within 3 Mi and they are all very close to us and considered family. 😊

Even though I was raised in church, and thought I knew Jesus, after I became an adult, a friend I had known since 4th grade re-established contact with me and through her I saw the REAL JESUS!! How would someone with say advanced stages of dementia "prove it". This population are basically vegetables with severe physical and mental limitations. Scripture doesn't mention anywhere how this population is dealt with, and you know what the Bible says about adding to it. We know Jesus said that those who believe will have everlasting life. Their parents are all Christians serving the Lord faithfully in their church, as singers , deacons, praise team vocalists and musicians, etc. They hear Scriptural messages from a wonderful pastor God called into the ministry.. do I worry? Absolutely, but I recognize the “author of confusion” for who he is, and give those worries to The Creator of the universe. Buddy you are so right! It also put the two greatest commandments into sharp focus. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” We were not meant to go through this life alone!

I sold everything I had and I moved to the country, I am now 65 mi from the nearest town and only go to town when absolutely necessary and that's pretty much only twice a month. My nearest neighbor is a half a mile away and I have only four neighbors within 3 Mi and they are all very close to us and considered family. 😊

Even though I was raised in church, and thought I knew Jesus, after I became an adult, a friend I had known since 4th grade re-established contact with me and through her I saw the REAL JESUS!! I thank God that she lead me to a true relationship with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!! At 72, I am so grateful to her, and for the personal relationship I now have with God!! Matthew 7:13-14. I’m SO GLAD I chose that narrow gate! God has given me SO MUCH MORE THAN I DESERVE! I’m 70, and ready to cross over Jordan with Him when He calls, but would LOVE for God to let me live long enough to see my grandkids saved! Their parents are all Christians serving the Lord faithfully in their church, as singers , deacons, praise team vocalists and musicians, etc. They hear Scriptural messages from a wonderful pastor God called into the ministry.. do I worry? Absolutely, but I recognize the “author of confusion” for who he is, and give those worries to The Creator of the universe.

It also put the two greatest commandments into sharp focus. Matthew 22: 37-39-“‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” We were not meant to go through this life alone!

Amen Buddy! So many people do NOT want to talk about what is going on and how it affects our faith - our walk with the Lord. If you try to talk to them - they say it upsets them so they just pray and go on with their lives. I pray but I also watch what is going on - I pray about that - how can you pray about what needs prayed for if you aren't listening - if you aren't taking part in fixing America! The Lord said to be prepared. You can't be prepared if you aren't paying attention!
