i've already seen this on spotify, but as it seems the tracks are getting released everyday slowly, which is really cool! i like the new return and the vibe the songs have,, definitely will be listening to all of them on repeat
I won't pretend that I can ever truly understand your feelings and interpretations when writing these songs, but your music reaches down to my soul in so many ways. I know I don't know you personally, but your music makes me feel like there's someone who understands and the world becomes a little less lonely. Thank you, I hope you can keep making the music you want to because it's truly a gift to the world
Thanks for putting my feelings into words. Her music resonates with my soul in a way I can't describe. She moves me and helps me to realize what has been nagging and gnawing at me, unable to express the feelings bottled up inside. Forever a fan. Thanks for being a refuge for the pain as well as a place to vent the rage/hurt/despair that has been building up. It's cathartic to finally release the pent up feelings and then be brought gently down to a place that can sooth me all in a few songs.
Really loving the voice, and the depression is palpable. I can only imagine the amount of stress you go through on a daily basis, with so many lives going on, but please take care of yourself. I know headless voices are hard to listen to, and you may have already resolved your problems, but please please please know so many people look up to you. :D
I just realized after listening to this so long: You can constantly hear a clock ticking beneath the track but it always gets quiet on her more 'vibrant' parts. When her lyrics become darker like the "muzzle" and "trigger finger" parts, there seems to be a pressure of time pushing her words. Her dark hours gives her the silence and reprieve she seems to want.

@@the_seeker.entity9206 ye, as @Arashi-JF mentioned the reference is from "MJB" and my 'personal' general takeaway from it is how someone's art/work can overshadow the person behind it & possibly lead to feelings of being trapped on only doing that thing, due to factors such as but not limited to: money, crowd reception, tunnel vision, and/or fear of failure. reference to it felt fitting imo! cuz the vibe of the song describes karen as also feeling a bit trapped in her own set of circumstances.

Amazing work! I'm glad you're here and thank you for making these songs. Definitely an eye-opener, and means more than I can properly say.

As someone currently coping with a recent loss in my life, the depression and grief that comes with that, and the anxiety that's been infesting my mind all my life, your music really hits me deep to the core. Even when you have success in life and reached your goals, you still feel trapped in your own mind, you still feel lost. Thank you for sharing your pain, thank you for being raw and real. This and Hazy Skyscrapers stand as two of my favorite songs of all time.
I think this track is going to take the most time to pore over the lyrics to really appreciate all the nuance. Really dig the chill yet somber vibe. And your singing has just gotten so good. Another great track.

Hi, I'm new here. Saw my guy Musicality drop this beat, instantly subbed to your channel. You guys are awesome. This is one of the best EP's I've ever heard. This is the smoothest song I've ever heard. I don't know if it can get any smoother than this. This almost brought me to tears because of how soulful and perfect it is. The other songs on this EP are amazing as well, but this takes it to another level for me, based on the melodies, the rhythm, the beat, everything. You guys have made my day today, even though it's basically over now. I know you will make my days better from now on. Thank you so much, and keep up the great work!
If u want to know, she has more songs but under a company (not allowed to say the name) but a simple digging should be able to bring u to more of her songs, they got me into demondice and are just as good
This song radiates an immaculate dark vibe that I can't explain... I feel as though I'm mesmerized by the beat and Demondice's hypnotizing vocals, I can't tell if this is a dream or nightmare
I normally really don't like pop sounds, but to me Billie Eilish was a breath of fresh air. This captures what I like about her music almost perfectly. The understated vocals, the subtle vocal emotion in the performance, but the lyrics dripping with it. The understated performance makes those moments where the emphasis is put on shine really bright. Great work.
This is my favourite song from the EP, it gives of the vibe like coming from a concert, driving in the night, looking through the window and thinking about the life one has to return back to, absolutely love it also if you listen carefully you can hear a clock ticking during the verses instead of the typical high heads, love these little details in the production, Dice always has the best collaborators
The mix of singing and rapping is perfect it really shows how much progress you made. It's a nice relaxing sober song and I absolutely love it! Keep up the great work DD! You are doing amazing!
This has to be my favorite if not one of my favorite DD songs, the way the bass hits, your singing, the flow the lyrics its all just so GOOD. this song makes my body feel things and I just can't put into words how much this song makes me feel emotions. Fun fact, I actually teared up a bit when I first heard it, it's so addictive too. I'm so glad you can write songs like this DD, thank you for this album! (the way you hit some notes remind me so much of Shakira too!!)
Well, just had this on my mind, really love the mix of singing and rapping, a song we all can relate to in some ways. You are really good at making feelings into words, thanks for banger number 3
This song during the Kawaii Kon 2022 concert was beautiful. The dark room with the blue lights on the wall , while the audience pull out their phone lights waving back and forth in sync with the rhythm of the song.
Love your music Karen, I won't pretend to fully comprehend the feelings you try to convey... However i'm glad you're able to vent these emotions you hold. 9 outta 10 times your music resonates with me hard, whether it being a mental state that I'm currently in or have experienced. Even surrounded by many people, possibly including family and friends, the world can be an incredibly lonely place sometimes... Thank you for the art you provide to us, truly
Singing game really went up a whole fucking mile in this one! It sounds like I'd listen to when I need to think because of how soft it sounds. At this point, the whole album is just my fav lol
I love the incoherent structure of the lines, never knowing when the sentence ends or starts with a few commas that pace them a bit. Capturesa chill chaotic theme I feel from the song.
re-listening to this after getting into persona just makes me long for a DDK/Lotus Juice collab, i feel like the two of them would bounce off each other perfectly and have an amazing energy
This might be my new favourite DemonDice song. The really chill beat with the occasional word play is great. Especially the line at 2:00 with a certain ballistic metal launching weapon and at 2:04 with taking a shot then putting the glass down. Really showcasing your singing capabilities at full force in this one!
These lyrics really represent the amount of stress you're going through, i can only wish you for the best and i hope everything goes well for you, and i just wanna let you know that there are many people out here supporting you. Great job for the new album Demondice.
I don't think it's any hyperbole to say this is one of your best songs yet, DDK. All of your improvement you've made over your career are blindingly apparent in this hauntingly beautiful song. Your lyrics and gorgeous vocals paint a vivid, yet incredibly sad picture. I love how it really takes you to that place of being lost with and unsatisfied with yourself and where your life is. It perfectly captures that feeling of a long, sleepless night. Even though I may not share your story, I can strongly sympathize with the exhaustion of feeling the need to constantly create and be a certain version of yourself for the sake of your career or audience, while feeling lost and like your emotions are obscured even to yourself. It's an incredibly sad, yet relatable feeling and you captured that beautifully here. I love the image of the jewelry box mind. It so perfectly captures the images and feelings the song conveys. This is definitely one of my favorites of the EP and of your entire catalogue. Like I said, your vocals are just achingly beautiful and your lyrics deftly paint an incredibly vivid and relatable picture. That backing track is also phenomenal. I can come to this song again and again if I'm ever feeling in a low place. Thanks for sharing this beautiful song with us, DDK. You've truly outdone yourself.
I shed a few tears listening to this, I and as I'm sure most fans old and new didn't know you were going through this much. Like I typed in the last video remember you are not alone I'm hoping that there is someone in your most trusted friends/family that is there for you and willing to lend you an ear, shoulder and make time for you.
Okay, I also wanna say more specifically that your singing here is absolutely beautiful. Melodic, emotional, breathy but without losing its musicality... I could listen to this for hours.
The contrast between the lyrics and the track itself is really a mood. You can chill with the song but then the lyrics hit harder and you're left stunned. Really love your soothing singing voice in this. Keep up the greatness!
Man even after listening to them all over and over, I really can't pick a fav out of this EP. They're all fantastic songs, and hit hard. Because in a way they're all relatable in different ways, and I'm sure different people are gonna relate to those same things in their own ways. Admittedly this might be the one that takes longest for me to figure out the meaning, but I hope making/releasing these songs at least helped bring you some peace of mind! Plus your singing in this is super beautiful, and I like the contrast in how relaxing the music is, while hearing how hard the lyrics can hit. I'm super glad I found out about your music, Demondice. Thank you for releasing such bangers but also for being honest with your feelings in these songs!
When people say your songs reach down their souls in so many ways, they weren't exaggerating. The expressions you're letting out just shows how much you've been through, Like a lot. I hope you take care of yourself, a lot of people really look up to you in many ways.
Probably my fav track off the EP. They're all really good - but there's something about this that makes me feel a certain someway. It's cool to see your skill and style develop over the years.
Loving your new stuff DD. I can low-key relate to a fair bit of these tracks. Hope writing these is as helpful for you to vent, as singing along to your earlier tracks at the top of my lungs helps me to vent. Peace out.
The person who makes this music is probably one the most dedicated and hardworking individuals if she's able to reinvent and mature her music during her hiatus, whatever she did in between her releases I'm just happy DEMONDICE is able to top herself in such a fantastic EP!!! 👍
The coma reality line hits different every time. Not only is every song in the ep a banger but they're all relatable and that's what makes the whole experience really great
As someone who struggles with chronic depression I spend a lot of time lost in that diamond crusted realm. Part of me hates it, but part of me wants to stay there even though I know I don't have the time. Thanks for the song Dice.
Oh my god dice, for the love of all that is holy and forbidden, what have you created. I'm terribly in love with your singing, it'd incredibly beautiful and it pulls me in effortlessly. All the emotions you displayed here stirred mine and made a mess out of me... Yet again.
Dream in night, jewel box, crack crack crack crack... I wonder if this art is intentionally referencing Topham's Mr. Jewel Box. Considering Dice did the art for that as well, it could very well be a callback This EP keeps getting darker and darker with every song released. I really hope Dice is feeling alright because she definitely seems to be channeling some very personal stuff into these songs
I love this song so much. It's probably my favorite off of the EP. It's hauntingly beautiful and your singing on it is phenomenal. Your voice has this tone to it in this that I absolutely love.
I think this one resonates with me the most out of the four so far. It really does a good job of portraying the sinking feeling I get sometimes when things are weighed against me, when every hour feels like a minute. I'm proud of how far you've gotten, DDK, and thinks for giving us something to unwind to. Favorite verse: A gun to my chest, but it's not for me trigger finger toward the mess I made mentally I take a shot, put the glass down descend into a dream where every minute of my time ain't behind a screen.
Love all the songs on the EP, but this one just hits different, i feel all sorts of things every time i listen to this song. Vocals, melodies and music overall show just how much you've improved since Alcatraz, which was a very good and fun album on it's own. I wish you the best of luck, DDK, new EP is awesome in so so many ways.
Whenever I feel like everything is crumbling down to the point I cant do anything to calm myself & having intrusive thoughts to just "disappear", this is the only song I can somehow just distract myself in with my chaotic state of mind while everything else just doesn't work. It just feels different to hear it in that state of mind. If I ever feel severely overwhelmed by life, this is the only song capable to soothe me down as long as I repeat it infinitely till I regain my sanity. This is a special kind of masterpiece is what I really wanted to say.
Holy crap the structure of this is so good. The flow lilts and lurches from line to line but always still feels continuous and smooth. This is giving me Nujabes vibes in a way, and it's getting added to my playlist asap.
I don't have much to say, just that DD your music means so so much to so many people. You have helped me through many phases of my life, some good an some bad. Always remember that your fans are there for you and love you and you are an inspiration to us all. Take care of yourself and thank you for being so awesome.
Hauntingly beautiful. This really captures that feeling where time stops, when "you should really be asleep right now," drowning in thoughts. It's not a fun place to be in, and I'm sure you're under much more stress than me, so I don't envy that. I don't wanna be the "is this a Persona reference?" guy, but some of the words and phrases definitely hit for me from P3, and the song in general reminded me of trying to escape into video games. I know this is the most depressed point of the album, and that there's another song after, but it hurts and is raw in the moment. I hope and pray you can find solace and transition during these times into rest, and to ultimately find contentment and a healthy way to disconnect from the screen, even as your fans and the world keep on spinning.

DemonDice droping the new 2022 #1 Hit
Singing game really went up a whole fucking mile in this one! It sounds like I'd listen to when I need to think because of how soft it sounds. At this point, the whole album is just my fav lol
I love the incoherent structure of the lines, never knowing when the sentence ends or starts with a few commas that pace them a bit. Capturesa chill chaotic theme I feel from the song.
re-listening to this after getting into persona just makes me long for a DDK/Lotus Juice collab, i feel like the two of them would bounce off each other perfectly and have an amazing energy
About that...
@@azurerider812 yeah I was gonna say, very ironic in retrospect :)
Absolutely critical soul emanating from these past few songs
The illustration for this one is divine and suit the song so well
This might be my new favourite DemonDice song.
Holy seesh just got done with all days work and what a feast!!!! Thanks man!!! Keep up the good work!!
Kinda feels on the hazy skyscrapers side of things, if not a bit more advanced and I kinda love the crap out of it.
Whenever I needed her she was there, such a heroine back at it again
2022 looking good with the return of demondice!
This song is super chill with the beats and stuff. Really love your singing as well
When people say your songs reach down their souls in so many ways, they weren't exaggerating. The expressions you're letting out just shows how much you've been through, Like a lot.
I hope you take care of yourself, a lot of people really look up to you in many ways.
I love this fresh theme. It's so easy to get lost in your music, Demondice. So poetic.
Peace out.
here's a free hug from a random person online
I am floored by the emotion, feelings in the words, passion in the music. Your soul spills into the flow and it can be felt on the other side
Quite a powerful song, and you have been demonstrating a lot of growth with these last few; I am really enjoying it!
I fw this girl so heavy now, she has my undying support.
I vibe with the music and the singing is really nice here. The lyrics hit as expected, love your stuff as always DD!
My favourite from this album
The person who makes this music is probably one the most dedicated and hardworking individuals if she's able to reinvent and mature her music during her hiatus, whatever she did in between her releases I'm just happy DEMONDICE is able to top herself in such a fantastic EP!!! 👍
Certainly didn't stop working, that's for sure. Not gonna say exactly where she went tho
Don't pretend that you don't know.
Dude your songs never get old I swear. This is just another example of how talented you are.
Oh my god dice, for the love of all that is holy and forbidden, what have you created. I'm terribly in love with your singing, it'd incredibly beautiful and it pulls me in effortlessly. All the emotions you displayed here stirred mine and made a mess out of me... Yet again.
Every song on this EP has been a complete jam. This is going right on my favorites playlist of work jams.
What an amazing song, you’ve got a lot of talent! I saw you in SydSnap’s video and had to check out your socials!
The vibe in this one is out of this world. A really emotional piece.
Dream in night, jewel box, crack crack crack crack... I wonder if this art is intentionally referencing Topham's Mr. Jewel Box. Considering Dice did the art for that as well, it could very well be a callback
This EP keeps getting darker and darker with every song released. I really hope Dice is feeling alright because she definitely seems to be channeling some very personal stuff into these songs
It's taking me a few rewatchs to understand everything in this one with my incomplete english but man it hurts more with every rewatch
I love this song so much. It's probably my favorite off of the EP. It's hauntingly beautiful and your singing on it is phenomenal. Your voice has this tone to it in this that I absolutely love.
Perfectly described
I think this one resonates with me the most out of the four so far. It really does a good job of portraying the sinking feeling I get sometimes when things are weighed against me, when every hour feels like a minute. I'm proud of how far you've gotten, DDK, and thinks for giving us something to unwind to.
Favorite verse:
A gun to my chest, but it's not for me
trigger finger toward the mess I made mentally
I take a shot, put the glass down
descend into a dream where every minute of my time ain't behind a screen.
Another amazing work. You can really feel the lyrics. I know I can. I know we’ll find the light despite how hard it is, or how long it will take.
Felt. The song makes me cry, but in a good way.
