Hey, the trailer was good. Combat doesn't really mesh with an extensive inventory but it's nice to have options. Casual players don't care about the story OR the merch
@@luislongoria6621 Respectfully, the trailer being good means nothing. That's like if you went to a restaurant and ordered a steak, and got back two pieces of burnt bacon, but argued, "But hey, the description in the menu sounded amazing!"

@@nicholasholloway8743 Yes, and that is not at all uncommon in AAA studios. When making a game, a big part of the process is researching similar games to see which features might also make your game better. As Starfield is mechanically very similar to earlier Bethesda titles, it's no surprise that they've recycled mechanics from earlier games.
Its nice to see that Bethesda still hasn't adressed the dynamic music thing. They forced Obsidian to rush a game and even they adressed it. Its like the kind of mistake that was acceptable maybe in 6th gen gaming 15+ years ago..
@VaultArchive72 Why is that even relevant? Also, Outer Worlds didn't have that problem.. And quite frankly, I'm more excited for OW2 than any Fo, ES, or Starfield release. That's not to say I'm excited for it, but the franchise clearly has more potential than some of the other established arpg franchises rn.
in his defense, it's hard to shoot both a small AND moving target. I'd encourage anyone who has never shot a gun before to try. Even people who do regularly shoot don't have top-tier accuracy. There was a study that showed even trained officers only have 18% accuracy.
Shots 1-5: Clearly missed. Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control). Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses. Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because Hiko was already dead.
The comedic timing on this interaction is so funny to me it made me cry with laughter ... everyone mentioned how he looks at you ... BUT it was the blank stare then smacking him in the head that did me in
It's the slow build-up of nothing, followed by the abupt ending of the video. Like you can imagine the player's face of contempt he's giving the guy during that brief pause.
This is the combat at its peak. So many times i've seen my follower standing still in the open or behind cover then proceeds to shoot at a wall trying to get the person behind it despite no openings.

Whoever honestly looks at a Bethesda game post-Oblivion and goes, "wow innovation that's unlike anything I've ever seen" has a goldfish memory, or is just to young to know better.
@@Salisbury_Steak Exactly.
I am so disappointed 😔 and is not even a proper space game
Hey, the trailer was good. Combat doesn't really mesh with an extensive inventory but it's nice to have options. Casual players don't care about the story OR the merch
@@luislongoria6621 Respectfully, the trailer being good means nothing.
That's like if you went to a restaurant and ordered a steak, and got back two pieces of burnt bacon, but argued, "But hey, the description in the menu sounded amazing!"
Meanwhile Boone scares the shit out of me activating the kill cam after blowing off the head of a fire gecko that I couldn't even see.
My mind is superimposing the Skyrim npc movements over this clip......how is this even happening wth
The fact that at one point he reloaded, fired one shot, then reloaded, has me rolling. It's a 6 shooter, it's in the name.
I'm the same way tbh. I think it's called reload OCD or something
“Todays not go na be your day, pal”
I love how he gives this slow little slug that much personality during a fight lmao
Whew. At least there was only one. They could have overrun the whole compound. Really makes you understand how the NPC characters lose control of things so easily.
Now I am not one to judge Bethesda, but I have not seen a single second of Starfield gameplay that makes me want to play it.
Have you also noticed how similar to the fallout franchise the mechanics of Star Field are? It's almost like they recycled a lot of stuff again, added a new skin and slapped another 60+$ pricetag on it
@@nicholasholloway8743 Yes, and that is not at all uncommon in AAA studios. When making a game, a big part of the process is researching similar games to see which features might also make your game better. As Starfield is mechanically very similar to earlier Bethesda titles, it's no surprise that they've recycled mechanics from earlier games.
What I liked most about this clip is how the shadows decided to gradually fade in after being 3 s late.
Oh man that flashlight in-game is trash 😅
Its nice to see that Bethesda still hasn't adressed the dynamic music thing. They forced Obsidian to rush a game and even they adressed it. Its like the kind of mistake that was acceptable maybe in 6th gen gaming 15+ years ago..
how much have video games really progressed in the last 15 years? Really think about it.
Did they force outer worlds as well?
Who's playing that now?
How many people even remember that game?
@VaultArchive72 Why is that even relevant? Also, Outer Worlds didn't have that problem.. And quite frankly, I'm more excited for OW2 than any Fo, ES, or Starfield release. That's not to say I'm excited for it, but the franchise clearly has more potential than some of the other established arpg franchises rn.
Please do not underestimate the cowboy. He fought with a space meal worm.
The way he leveled the gun at the player, I was worried they might get shot.
Then I remembered his accuracy.
in his defense, it's hard to shoot both a small AND moving target. I'd encourage anyone who has never shot a gun before to try. Even people who do regularly shoot don't have top-tier accuracy. There was a study that showed even trained officers only have 18% accuracy.
The year is 2330 and that invincible snail has finally caught up to you
Shots 1-5: Clearly missed.
Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control).
Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.
Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because Hiko was already dead.
It looks like the AI is trying to hit a human sized creature.
So many times i've seen my follower standing still in the open or behind cover then proceeds to shoot at a wall trying to get the person behind it despite no openings.
i cant wait to finally play this game when i can afford a 2.5K computer
I'll give it a spin with my I5 and 3080 that i built into a $600 machine.. If it works decently I'll let you know.
lol just buy a Xbox X for 500.
Or....Just don't buy busted games.
@@theviewbot thx for the info. I'll give it a spin once the torrent drops.
@@JCarey1988you're in luck! And you've been in luck since day one or early access
I came across two and killed one to see if the other would aggro and sure enough it did, luckily the adoring fan was there with his trusty shotgun to miss literally every shot while the grub crawled 20 ft to get close enough to rip me a new one for his fallen friend. Needless to say my fiance n I were dying at how goofy the whole situation was.
😂😂😂 “luckily”
@@NastyClanRecordsthat's an actual word lol
The suspense was killing me.
Good to see that Todd Howard’s claim that being exclusive to Microsoft would allow them to sort out bugs and streamline programming has come to fruition
0:29 Normally something like this would scare me but in this case, it's probably the safest place to be.
That long stare at him at the end was just pure disappointment you could tell
I'm impressed. I had to play more than 150 to finally get rid of my larva.
But it was in BG3.
It’s obviously his first time ever using a gun, which makes it all the more terrifying when he points it directly at you.
Whole new meaning to "Today's not going to be your day, pal"
The pistol whip at the end killed me😂
i would say its dangerous to point a loaded gun at your friend but with his accuracy i think you got solid odds to not get hit regardless
Thank you to the beta testers aka financial supporters working on this game. Your efforts to create a playable game experience by the time I try this game (for free years from now) is appreciated.

I thought gamepass was a paid subscription? @@carlj7466
@@carlj7466 Game pass costs money. These games are only worth playing on PC with mods anyway. For example, I feel vanilla Fallout 4 is a pretty bad game. But after loading over 200+ mods it was quite good 😂 👍
its like when you twist your balls and let them spin back into place. Also known as the nutnado
How the hell can you watch this and still not think this is just Fallout in Space...
Yes it's kinda cool but overall infuriating when you realize they using stuff from a ten YO game (FO4) and slapping a new skin on and slapping a 60+$ pricetag on it.
I was planning on getting this game someday when it's 50% off and there are a ton of mods that make it worthwhile.
After seeing so many clips like this, i think I'm gonna wait until it's 90% off.
I mean... do you really want to give Bethesda any money at this point?
This has the same energy of the killer rabbit in the Holy Grail lol
I was expecting him to say something like: "I never miss a shot"
Thank you my friend, your 40 second video told me all I needed to know about Starfield .
Hard pass!!!

@@carlj7466 $70 for a game we've all already played? Btw it's been cracked and repacked so you don't even need to pay to play it lmao.
Kind of a silly thing to pass up an entire game over, an NPCs aim. It never usually is perfect and EVERY game has some jank.... besides that cowboy dude is a tool anyway 😂
Fanboys crack me up. Paying full price for a space Skyrim skin and they want you in on the action so the game doesn't have a DOA live service.
I'll save my time&money thanks, Bethesda doesn't deserve either at this point.
Also why would I play Starfield when No Man's Sky is available?
@@carlj7466 Your entire comment history is you doing damage control. Are you too insecure to just play the game you supposedly like? Interesting 🤔
May I suggest the Holy Hand Grenade?
The smack in the end was icing on the cake lmao
Truly a next gen experience
had the same problem trying to kill this tiny flying bug and wasted all my ammo.
First person shooters might not be for you then, friend.
@@mind-less some of the flying fauna get up really high and then run away when you shoot them. on very hard it might take 20 hits with an orion to down them. your best bet is to run directly under them and let them fall to you. i think you can scan flying/swimming fauna from a farther distance. my first ocean creatures were WAY out in a microbial ocean.

Damn Boone would of been like "Eat this!" and you would have been jumpscared by the killcam for something a mile away
Boone: "Eat this!"
*Quickscopes the target and trigger the killcam*
Us: What happened?
honestly the NPCs are actually okay with normal sized enemies. many times they finish off enemies that i couldnt due to empty magazine or something.
the biggest issue is their positioning and way finding
still lmao with this video :D

What’s incredible about this game is how it literally feels like playing fallout 4 to me. I don’t usually say things like that, but it’s remarkable. This is truly a game of all time.

Did you "upgrade your pc"? XD
It’s crazy how on every negative comment there’s like 2-3 positive ones about the game. Doesn’t seem organic
Except fallout 4 was actually good
