    That was an amazing poem but J'Kobe's reading brought life and imagery to it. He is very talented and his smooth voice made it sing.

    What a beautiful, resonant voice you have and how well you recited the poem.

    Awesome poem reciting, but I teared up just now hearing it because within the last few days, my former high-school English teacher passed away and I was mentally brought back to a time when my class back then were tasked with the entire class reciting the poem for that class to have a pizza party as kind of an incentive, I guess. I sure will miss that teacher, because she was a cool lady.

      I'm sorry to hear about her. English teachers usually are the most passionate with their students. But yeah, I'm sure she would have loved to know that you remember her by this beautiful poem.

    I was just thinking of Grasmere Gingerbread and found this. Thank you for introducing me to professional poetry, felt like I was on the hills again.

    I always imagined this poem as ever raising in pitch with every line and with a climatic if not orgasmic last line; his rendition is good of course but it’s anticlimactic, the opposite of how I always read it in my mind

    I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud
    BY WILLIAM WORDSWORTH
    I wandered lonely as a cloud
    That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
    When all at once I saw a crowd,
    A host, of golden daffodils;
    Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
    Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
    Continuous as the stars that shine
    And twinkle on the milky way,
    They stretched in never-ending line
    Along the margin of a bay:
    Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
    Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
    The waves beside them danced; but they
    Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
    A poet could not but be gay,
    In such a jocund company:
    I gazed-and gazed-but little thought
    What wealth the show to me had brought:
    For oft, when on my couch I lie
    In vacant or in pensive mood,
    They flash upon that inward eye
    Which is the bliss of solitude;
    And then my heart with pleasure fills,
    And dances with the daffodils.

    Very nicely read and beautifully paced. Being English I find many American accents to be grating and harsh but not this guys accent.

    Just read the damn poem. It's not a film audition. No acting required. Only an American can ruin a beautiful work. Hope you won an Oscar at least. Jeez!
