William Wordsworth, We are Seven

We are Seven is one of William Wordsworth's famous Lyrical Ballads, published in 1798. The Lyrical Ballads are commonly accredited with beginning the Romantic movement in England.
Before analyzing the poem, I note the commonalities between Blake and Wordsworth and observe some of the ensuing problems with this change in perspective for education, among other things.

The child is right. Forgetting the dead means more dead as a cycle. It is particular with that culture and whatever the date was then. The adult is thus the child.
