If you have a ‘The Works’ shop in your High St (UK) … they are selling packs of 12 and 24 ‘knock off’ pens remarkably similar to POSCA pens for between £8 & £12 which so far are quite good.
I've wondered for a long time whether Mad Magazine was actually real (I've only seen it referenced in the Simpsons). Looking it up, it looks like something I'd have loved if I'd been able to read it as a kid.
Could you do more sketching with perspective? I really struggle with it …maybe some easy buildings. The last one I watched had buildings and people and cars. I was overwhelmed. I love your videos and I am learning so much. Thank you for making art fun. I appreciate the time you put into making our videos as well.
I’m jealous of your talent, but it inspires me to do a little everyday. I’m kind of at a loss as where to begin. I feel overwhelmed by all the things in the internet.
I've seen your other people-drawing vids and marked them as "watch later" so I can sit down and study them. Which simply means I am procrastinating! But just now I watched this vid and literally believe I could go and do this now 🤣!So helpful and fun Toby, thank you! I'm off to my second-ever urban sketching meetup in a couple of hours. Which gives me an hour to practice these doodle people 🕵🏼♂🧍🏼♂🏃🏼♀🕺🏼🤾🏼♂🤸🏼♂
I enjoyed doing this with you. It sure never hurts to brush up on the gestural sketches of people. Thank you.

Reminds me of those people in the little Mad Magazine comics placed around the margins of a page. Was always fascinated by them. Cool tutorial!

Dude, your videos are amazing and so is the style. You've inspired me to pick up sketching back again after ages.
These are so much fun! Congratulations to you and your bride! 💖🌷💖
Thank you so much!!
I’m in Looe. Trying to put your teaching into practice. This video has shown up at just the right time. Thank you 🙏.
You are so inspiring to me! ❤❤❤
Always inspiring thank you
So nice of you
Do you like to use a certain sized tip? I see Posca are available in a lot of different sizes.
You can find all my supplies linked here - www.sketchloose.co.uk/supplies - POSCA pens are mentioned in the pens section

Follow up - this time I actually did it! I just doodled 14 little people similar to yours and I'm thrilled with them. Did it in under 2 mins, in ink 😊
Well done for doing those one 😁😁😁
