  • Today we explore the beautiful town of Barranquitas in the central mountainous region of Puerto Rico. We start at the beautiful Barranquitas Bicentennial Plaza that's one of kind on the Island. Then we enter Saint Anthony of Padua Parish. That’s right! It’s called like the Catholic church in Guayama, except that this one was open. Oh, and did I mention that it’s gorgeous?
We also go by City Hall, the Luis Muñoz Rivera House Museum, the Luis Muñoz Rivera Mausoleum, the Barranquitas Linear Walk, the “Swing” and “El Cortijo”.

Very nice job with this video. I visited Barranquitas about 10 years ago, and got to experience the museum, and the mausoleum. During the same trip, we got to visit the Fundacion Luis Munoz Marin in San Juan. Everything was very enjoyable, and educational. This is the type of video that's great prep work when visiting un pueblo for the first time. It helps to really maximize the experience while there. Thank you for videos like this.

It’s my pleasure. My wife and I spent 5 years visiting the US National Parks. During that period we visited 22 national parks and around 50 state parks. Then we put that quest pn pause to visit all 78 towns in Puerto Rico. So far we’ve been to 26. Once we finish, and put away some cash, we’ll return to the national parks.
      Glad you liked the video.

Barranquitas Pueblo is so pretty! Thank you for these videos, it shows you put in a lot of effort and dedication. There isn't much info on all the pueblos, I agree. But you are doing a great job doing it yourself!

You never went to my hometown of Arecibo. Just wondering why. Good content. But just disappointed that you didn’t get there.

      It’s not that I never went. It’s that I still haven’t. It’s about 8 months away.
