➦ Script mods can be tricky sometimes, here is a quick tutorial on how to get them working.
A Script mod isn't like a typical drag and drop mod. Often it requires you to leave certain files packaged while others are unzipped.

you see my script mods are showing but.. they aren't working.. i have zero idea why and its making me a bit flustered

Did you enable script mods?
FlyBi go to settings in the game and click game options and then go to the last thing called other something and click enable script mods.
no wonder my script mods were not working it was because i didn't enable it.

Not everyone includes the "do not unzip" file so it's possible that you end up unzip it anyway! So just remember: if it says script, do not unzip! I also noticed that there are a lot of modders that put the script file under a .script file instead of a zipped one, so you don't even get the idea of unzipping it :D

I have installed the files it shows up in the custody of content and script mods at the start of the game, but when I go on the game I click on the pregnant sim and the pregnancy option doesn't show up,

For those still having trouble with installing this mod - there is a new updated version "Pregnancy Mega Mod v8.1 (8 March 2017 update version)", search this in "Mod the Sims" and follow the instructions, I hope this helped :)
Hi . I have a problem. When your showing this it has 2 flies to download . This Sep. 29th ,2015 and it only has 1 file to download . Its not even working in my game . Can you please help me!?

this helped me SO much!!! got the game yesterday and when i opened a mod and saw "ts4script" as a format, i figured there was some info i should know before trying to install it. oh and i LOVE your voice!

To let the script work don't extract the files ever just copy the ZIP file and paste it on the mods floder that's all!
PLEASE READ THIS IT MIGHT HELP!!: I FOUND OUT THAT THE MOD MIGHT BE OUTDATED SINCE THERE WAS AN UPDATE SO YEAH.... IT MIGHT BE OUTDATED.... AND THAT THEY DONT HAVE GENGER FIX ANYMORE SINCE YOU CAN GET YOUR SIM TO EAT AND LISTEN TO DIFFERENT MUSIC TO CHOOSE THE BABIES GENDER...

a potato Since you can get your sim to eat or listen to different music to decide the gender of the baby the Gender fix has been taken away... Hope I helped :)

It actually doesn't matter if you unzip the files or not. They say not to just to keep things simple for new installers. For people who have been installing mods on games for a while, we are used to unzipping the files. The key thing is going into the game settings and ticking the allow script mods checkbox. This is the one step that is often overlooked. The other thing is after ticking the script mods checkbox remember to restart the game after.
What if there is a script file AND package files in the zip-file? I just downloaded the tropical getaway modpack, and I'm not sure what to do..

Can someone help me i downloaded it and the pregnant thingy doesn't come up and i did every thing
I've input the pregnancy script and it says everything is working. Did the restart, put it in the right folder.. Still not working on a pregnant sim and I cannot figure out why for the life of me! I've done mods in most of the sims games.. It's been a while but I'm very positive I did it right and can't get it working! It only gave me one option for something to download! Not two!
The new update on the Sims 4 disabled this mod. It won't work until the makers update the patch on the mod, I believe it hasn't been working for about 2 months now.

puppy lover im not 100% sure but it could be where you are getting the cc from or mods because some of them show up for me but not all or it could be you putting them in the wrong folder? Im not sure but that may be it sorry if i cant help u but if i find a real solution i will tell u

So what is the install process for Script and non-script (I know I'm dumb). One requires you to cut and paste and the other requires extraction (Then cut and paste). I'm just looking for the difference and which is which (Script or non-script). If you could tell me thanks.

With .zip files, you can just go on your docents and right click in the download and hover over Open With... Then click windows explorer or something and then it opens it!

For people confused and do not speak sims expert
1. Download the file
2. Drag the file into sims mod folder
3. Open the download file and drag the stuff in that file into mods
4. BOOM KAPOW DONE

Oh!!! Since you most likely have the newest build you need to get the Pregnancy mod 19.1 which is the newest build for the mod

i have my custom content but it dont work so i need the script mod,so how do i have the mod correctly?
I don't understand what's wrong with my game. No idea how to unzip it, but when I looked at the mod (which is also mega pregnancy) it doesn't work. It says they are installed in the game, and script mods are enabled. Custom content works. In my downloads, it also looks like one is zipped and one isn't. I'm only getting one file to download and I don't understand what to do.

The mod is showing up under my list of custom content but one file is under mods and the other under script mods. My game detects it but the pregnancy button under the social menu doesn't show up on my newly pregnant sim. Do you know why this is?

Jen you forgot winraw link, also! I downloaded winraw and when I did after 30 days it says your free trail has ended pay $$$$ to buy winraw, how is it free

MatthewK It reminds you to pay, but you can still use it as you would with the trial. Malwarebytes does the same exact things as Winrar :)
