Finally a dermatologist, who does not have botoxed away her facial expression. Love it, that your face and especially forehead shows movement when you talk. You look sooooo gorgeous
Yes, something is different from earlier videos. A fullness at the sides of the mouth, or cheekbones...not really obvious unless you compare side by side to older videos and photos. Not saying it’s a bad thing. I’d do it. Maybe some day when I get around to it.
I have no problems with dermatological treatments, but I just don't like it, when people overdo it. When people use so much botox, that nothing happens in their faces when they smile for example. Or when the lips are so plumped, that you see how artifactual they are. There is nothing wrong doing laser tretment to reduce sunspots or large pores or using injections to balance wrinkles. We all want to show our best sides. It just scares me how much of those stuff is used. Seeing wrinkles in somebodys face when smiling makes it more sympatic then seeing a strapped face where nothing happens when something should happen normaly.
can you please stop immediately demonizing products because they have fragrance, when in a video from 3 years ago you said they can be irritants but are safe. if something can be irritating, can you at least agree that it can be good for others. I personally have zero irritations to fragrance and love products with fragrance. you were taking a massive liberty by assuming that the company is putting it in there formulas to appear luxurious when in fact they may be targeting a different segment of the market (millennials like me who don’t have irritated skin) and that’s why they formulated it the way they did and it’s not as sinister as you are proposing. I feel like you need to take your opinion out and just share facts… that’s almost a liability issue.
Hi Dr Dray! You have taught me so much about skin care! I'm from India and not many fragrance free products are available here (On the contrary Fragrance is a very popular marketing tactic! LOL!) . My friend is visiting New Jersey so I have told him to get me so many of the products that you always show us in your Shop With Me vlogs!! Especially Vanicream and CeraVe! He will be coming in a few days with my stuff and I'm so so excited to try these! Walgreen and Target will have to restock their shelves after I'm done with them LOL.
How about a video on skincare and makeup and eye health? We put strong actives and chemicals near our delicate eyes. I recently had eye surgery and it has made me aware of how many irritants and oils we slather on the lids and then strong cleaners to get it all off.
Ziaja (pronounced: Ziaya) is cruelty free (they do not sell in China) and many of their products are also vegan. It's a Polish dermocosmetic brand. Like Vichy or La Roche Posey, only much cheaper :) A lot of their products are also good for Korean methods of skin care. The cream you recommended is also sold as Ziaja Ulga, krem ujędrniający na noc (which is Polish for "Relief. firming night cream").
berlineczka cruelty free doesn't mean they want to give up the biggest market in the world. brands can find another way to sell in China, without animal testing. actually a lot of cruelty free brands use the same way in China and I don't think it is a problem.
@@erkezhang6961 I tried to find anything about it and failed. The inky thing I was able to confirm is that in 2019 they engaged in cross-border e-commerce (e.g. selling things online from another country, in China's case it's usually selling from Hongkong). Individual import is not subject to animal testing so it's a way some companies use to work around the legislation in China. A Chinese consumer buys things in an online shop, but the shop is based in a different country so the shipping is from abroad. Do you perhaps have access to Chinese physical stores and can confirm their products are available there? Because this is what would confirm their non-cruelty status (as they do not produce in China, therefore they cannot pull a wet'n'wild move).
Broke my heart, but I just had to return a lot of Biossance products. After using them for a month, my skin became highly reactive and sensitive, and the gel moisturizer burned the most when applied. Couldn't figure out why until I watched this. The more you know... Thanks, Dr. Dray!
Hi Dr. Dray. Cereve is off the market here, I don't know if that's temporary. I am using Cetaphil in the tub and loving it. It is heavier, but works for me. Just want to tell you that you are beautiful and elegant.
I use the Seaweed Bath Company night cream, day cream and serum. Fabulous products!! Totally agree with the review of the unscented body cream. Best body cream I have ever used.
I used to use Origins religiously for years and I loved it, however my local Sephora store stopped carrying it because of all the fear-mongering about the essential oil ingredients it has. So I had to buy Biossance instead, and I am loving the Biossance Squalane and Omega repair cream and their marine algae eye cream. However, I saw the Most positive difference in my skin when I used Origins Eye Doctor and their Plantscription Night cream. Maybe that’s cuz my skin is used to it because of how long I had used it for. It definitely helped my skin texture and pores over time even though it didn’t make any claims about it. So, I appreciate Dr Dray’s advice a lot, however I believe trying things for myself and listening to my skin works best for me.
I've seen Aquation at my local Walmart but always thought that it can't be good for the price. Unfortunately too many of us, myself included, have this unfounded mind set 🤦🏼♀️. Thank you for this tip 😊
Who else is staying in on a Friday night, relaxing watching Dr. Dray videos with a cup of tea. This woman always makes my day, thanks Dr. Dray ❤️🍵 #empoweredskincare
I’m disappointed Aquation was discontinued. It’s my favorite moisturizer. I’m currently using the PC algae serum and like it except it’s got an odd smell to it. I love all of PC’s products and do notice a difference in my skin when I use them.
Dr. Dray, I took your advice and tried the Bobbi Brown Remedies # 80. Boy , you were not kidding that it was expensive. BUT, it has a permanent place in my skincare routine. Whenever I overdo the Retin A, this is the ONLY product I have tried tHAT calms my skin down and repairs it. I keep trying other products(because of the price) to do the same thing , but nothing has come close. It does what it claims to do. Although the bottle is small, you do not need much product, so that is good! . Also, I have been using the Seaweed Company body cream , unscented (of course) for years. Love it ! Your recommendations are right on! .
Ziaja is so cheap in Poland (around $2 for that cream), they also sell on Amazon UK - £6 including delivery. There are so many good Polish cosmetics companies, all still quite into scents though, however all of them have their 'sensitive' or 'atopic' lines hidden among others. Love Ziaja though, a brand with along history.
Can you do a video about how to deal with office environments and air conditioning? I've tried a lot of things but I can't seem to stop my skin drying out when I go to work
I hope you got some answers since this is a year ago. In case you didn’t, petrolatum (Vaseline) has been the best occlusive for me for air conditioned office or in flights.
Hi Dr Dray, Could you please talk about the importance of dermatologist exam when psoriasis is a possibility in order to also refer for identification and prevention of joint deterioration from psoriatic arthritis?
patients w/ psoriasis are screened for symptoms of arthritis by dermatologists who manage their skin disease and referred to a rheumatologist when appropriate
I tried the Aquation gentle moisturizing cleanser I must say that it’s gentle to the skin- definitely a plus if you have dry skin because it leaves the skin feeling hydrated after a wash. On the other hand, I feel like it didn’t thoroughly cleaned the skin. Terrible if you’re a person who uses a lot of makeup because it will not eliminate all of it. I also tried Ziaya sensitive night cream and it literally burned and irritated my skin (definitely not sensitive at all).
Aquation is available on Amazon both in lotion and cream I also saw a cleanser. The prices were cheaper too $12 for the cream and $10 for the lotion. Best of all it’s on prime!
I have tried the skincare line by Oriflame (it’s manufactured in Sweden) and a lot of their products contain brown and red Algae. My skin had never looked better before and now I’m looking for a replacement because they don’t sell it here in the US. But it’s super affordable (if you live in EU/UK) and gives you that hydrating and glowy look.
I like to use the nourishing cream by Medline Remedy. It has green tea, algae extract, hyaluronic Acid, glycerin, safflower oleosomes, etc. It costs me $6 on amazon.
Thanks again Dr Dray for this comprehensive video. Would you do something similar on mushrooms? Origins has had them in their Dr Weil and Plantscription lines (which were great for me but i stopped using as they’re loaded with irritants) for more than a decade, and you occasionally see it as the star ingredient in other lines as well.
I've never used any products that contain seaweed. This was fascinating and very informative. Thanks, Dr Dray! Your the best!! Have a wonderful evening!! Happy Monday. 🌼

Are you able to list all of the products (including holy grail) that you are currently using? I've just noticed such a difference in how amazing your skin is looking compared to a couple of years ago. Thank you for everything!
Hello Andrea! This seaweed topic has reminded me to ask for recommendations on legitimate Dead Sea products. Love it but there's so much to choose from, it's hard for me to determine which is good and which is not worth my time or money. Thanks for everything you do!
Ok so i LOVE the texture of the Biossance gel moisturizer (It feels super hydrating without being too heavy for daytime) but I do have rosacea. Do you have a lighter moisturizer (maybe another gel?) that you’d suggest for sensitive skin?
Flora Mare is an affordable German brand that uses sea weed extract in their products and their texture is pretty good as well. I don´t think they are fragrance free though.
Dr Dray... Thanks giving day is already went but Thank you.... You don't know how much my skin is changed and even on money wise I don't spend too much on skin care. The only I spend too much is sunscreen. I don't use eye cream, nightcream or even scrubs. Thanks
Absolutely appreciate your honesty in all your videos. May you please do a review about the first aid beauty ultra repair wild oat hydrating toner and the then I met you cleansing balm!
Hey Dr Dray! I have a question about sunscreen. We have bad winters where we live and i was wondering what drugstore sunscreen is the most moisturizing? Or can I put on a moisturizer under my sunscreen without compromising it?
Oo I’ve been hoping you would review the Biossance product (and seaweed in general) Can’t wait to hear your opinion, it’s a very important one to me 💕🙏
Hello. Can I ask you if you are still taking the pearl powder? Is it safe and has it made a difference? I really want to buy it but it's kinda expensive, so any info you provide will be extremely helpful. Thank you so much. ❤️
Do you think that liquid fucoidan supplements are beneficial? I have a friend who has seen the best outcome with her psoriasis since using the supplement called Limu. Another friend has seen a reduction of issues with her hands since using Limu.
Dr Dray, can I use my tinted sunscreen under my eyes? I see you do that, but I have syringomas under my eyes and I'm afraid to put anything there :) thank you x
@@maralshab is it mattifying? I have 3 brands of tinted sunscreens, IT cosmetics CC+ cream SPF 50, Paula's Choice Resist, DRMTLGY. The one that I found was not good for under eyes was Paula's Choice Resist. Although it states "wrinkle resist" on the packaging, it dried out my under eyes and caused fine lines. I stopped applying on the eye area. Only using it as a top 3rd layer on the rest of my face. My new favorites for eye area is a first layer of DRMTLGY tinted, then let is dry a few minutes and put the IT cosmetics CC+ cream SPF 50 which contains hydrating serum. By the way, the IT cosmetics comes in several shades of color. That allows for a closer skin color match. The under eye darkness/discoloration can be masked with this product. I hope that this helps you in some way!
Hi Dr.Dray, About 3 months ago I ditched all my skincare I had been using from Sephora that I leaned was full of fragrance and irritants and I switched to the Cerave foaming face wash and Cerave moisturizer. I’ve been using those 2 products (along with sunscreen) everyday and my skin still breaks our daily, I’ve tried so many things and nothing seems to clear up my skin, I was wondering if you have any recommendations for anything that has helped any of your patients with skin that just won’t seem to clear up. Thank you
Meg A hi! I would strongly recommend you to make an appointment with a good dermatologist, it’s worth it. Our skin is complex and sometimes the problems in it are deeper. There are different causes for acne so, it is important to identify which could be yours. Good luck and take care! :)
I have have super sensitive skin too. Neutrogena Oil-Free Daily Facial Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin, Ultra-Gentle & Lightweight Moisturizers Free of Fragrances & Dyes works for me.
Hi you didn't give any indication of your age. I'm from the UK and we don't have the same access to dermatologist's here as they do in the US, so it's a bit more trial and error. Your family doctor/general practitioner may be an option if your acne is hormone related. A gentle fragrance free salicylic acid wash in the morning may help (rather than the foaming cereve) an option is the Eucerin dermo purifying wash. It may be you have fungal acne which will need topical products from a doctor utilising anti-fungal ingredients. There are many forms/causes of acne so getting a diagnosis will be really helpful, allowing you to research which products you need to treat your acne. My sister has PCOS which has caused long term acne and getting treatment for the underlying PCOS has improved her skin greatly. The two cereve products are great basic skincare staples, but alone they won't treat acne. If you are in the US Differin may be an accessible option depending on the cause of your acne as well. Hope that helps.
As far as a topical antioxidant, would you recommend an algae extract over a vitamin c? I know your thoughts on vitamin c and I just really like the idea of a topical antioxidant in addition to spf.
The ordinary marine hyluronics serum is super watery. I didn't feel like it did much. Thank you for the information. I tried to find a marine product after your La Mer video. Lots of stuff to try now!
Thank you for this video! I've been curious about seaweed in skincare for some time now and now I understand the concept but also where the research stands today regarding the usage of it in skincare. Have a nice week! :)
Dr Dray. I am not able to find mineral sunscreen in NZ , just one i.e. Invisible zinc. Is there any reason only chemical sunscreen are available in stores or pharmacies . thanks
Dr. Dray.... Would be be awesome if you created and sold a very affordable skincsre line of your own. I think you would do very well. Of course cruelty free, no dyes, must have sunscreen, and I know it wouldn't have fragrance...lol A dupe skincare line of La Mer would be awesome.... without the spit in the soft cream...lol...😊
Dr. Dray, thank you so much for taking the time to explain everything thoroughly. I have been learning so much! I do have a request, can you please review the Biossance line? I like the line and their ingredients but I want to be sure it is worth it.
Could have talked more on the biosaance. Writing it off due to one potentially irritating ingredient seems short sited. I’ve also noticed you comment on ingredients that exacerbate rosacea often. I and many others don’t have that condition and I was really hoping to hear more on that particular product.
There is an online website called beautypie that offers “luxury products without the luxury prices” and i was wondering if you could look into some of the popular stuff they have! Keep up the good work. x
Kristy Kelly 😂. That’s very true actually, I was just curious as the products do seem good, although I guess good marketing can make almost anything have an appeal. I’ve used a few of the things from there and aside from fragrance, I thought they worked well.
I got the equate Oatmeal Daily moisturizing lotion with Dimethicone skin protestant. Fragrance free paraben free. 33 oz. under 7.00 at Wal-Mart. Feels great. Use 50 Sun screen on face. Thank you so much for your great videos . Starting to take care of my skin . Lorrie ♥️😎
Funnily enough, Deciem just released (as in today) their new CAIL, a product containing a newly-discovered blue-green algae . Pricey but it also contains copper peptides .
Another great topic. :) Target also carries The Seaweed Bath Co. products in their natural products aisle. I love your critique of the Peter Thomas Roth line! I see so many glowing reviews of this expensive, fragrance-laden product line. I usually associate dyes in less expensive drugstore products. You would think that spending $50+ you'd be able to avoid such ingredients. :-P Happy Monday!
Oh man I actually have a Biossance squalene probiotic gel moisturizer and I really like it but it can sting a bit sometimes if I’ve been using my retinol a few nights in a row. I thought ginger root extract was good for the skin 😢 Dang well I’m probably gonna finish this jar and not buy it again. Thanks for talking about these.
Hi Dr. Dray ☺️ I would like to know your opinion on the Avene line of skincare products please? In particular the Eau Thermale spring water spray. Is it a gimmick or is there really something in the water? Much love from Australia 🇦🇺💖 PS thank you so much for your past recommendations on the Cerave products. I have recently started using the PM Facial Moisturising Lotion and the Moisturising Cream and they have been a godsend for my sensitive skin ☺️💖
Happy Monday Dr. Dray and everyone . I agree you look stunning . Thank you so much for this topic . Love how you breakdown each product , so tried of hearing other youtubers just say "buy it , its great " You are the best !!!
Hi Dr Dray. Was wondering your thoughts after switching from differin to Tretinoin.. What ? if any benefits have you discovered. I'm currently using differin and am considering switching. Thank you in advance. PL
Gabe enterprises: Type “dr dray differin” in the YT search bar and the top video is titled, “Why I stopped using differin.” I think this video should answer your questions.
thanks for respond. Love your channel. questions? are you still using tretinoin? Have you had any benefits from it? All the data I read on it's not very significant , there's one doctor that promotes glycolic acid and never prescribes differin? confused???... thanks
@@DrDrayzday I got it last week. I can say that's a bit greasy for my oily skin. It has a castor oil, which is tempt to clog my pores. But I will be using it sometime, for a while. It feels nice mosturizing on my skin, absorbs really well, do not give mi a film filling on the skin but it gives me a lot of oily shine. I like more my CeraVe mosturizing cream.
Can you talk about willow bark a little bit more? I'm trying hard to learn about this. I use the zen med redness relief mask. It works to calm my redness (I have rosacea) and it seems to help the pores on my nose but because of the essential oil in it I will be eliminating it. I'm guessing the ingredient that is helping is the willow bark extract. I've read multiple times that it's a natural BHA but I don't understand if the extract of it is always a BHA in a product or if that element can be eliminated.

Hi dr Dray! Thank you! Had no idea Bioderma has this ingredient! Very affordable in Europe! Will definetely try!
Ekaterina Kozlovskaia let me know how you like it, they have some good products
Pleeease do a video on shampoo/conditioners for acne prone skin! My shampoo/conditioner causes me acne!!!!
Sabbatical Skincare has a "marine serum" that I've been eyeing for awhile. It seems to have every kind of algae in there. It's affordable too.
What are your thoughts about OSEA brand
Kristy Kelly: 👏
If the algae makes protective film on the skin isn't it difficult for other active ingredients to penetrate through it after aplying it?
Hi Dr. Dray. You didn't mention anything about Biossance cream? Is it good?
Hey Dr Dray! I have a question about sunscreen. We have bad winters where we live and i was wondering what drugstore sunscreen is the most moisturizing? Or can I put on a moisturizer under my sunscreen without compromising it?
Destiny Martin
Absolutely. Just do, whatever skincare routine works for you and apply the sunscreen last.
Altruist sunscreen is very moisturizing.
Cerave AM facial moisturizing lotion!!!!!
Got my hands on some Aquation. Yes! Thanks Dr. Dray🥳
@cloud - thought Would you mind telling me what you think of the product? I would love to hear your thoughts. ☺
Thanks for another great video Andrea!! So informative . And what a cute pastel pink top
Oo I’ve been hoping you would review the Biossance product (and seaweed in general) Can’t wait to hear your opinion, it’s a very important one to me 💕🙏
Did she even mention Biossance? Did I miss it?
I like eating seaweed lol. The Noodle Company (same company that makes the kelp noodles) has a yummy seaweed medley.
feylights I love that medley 👍🏼👍🏼
It's so good!
Dr.Dray can you please tell me how to get rid of acne scars/dark spots .BTW (I have oily skin )
Can you use the ordinary hyloronic acid one day after you use a retinoid ?
This is off topic but you look really beautiful and radiant in this vid!! You're like a mixture of natalia dyer and rooney mara!
Please do a Pixi by Petra skincare review!!! I use the toner but wanna know more
Fragrance in alot of them
Dr Dray, can I use my tinted sunscreen under my eyes? I see you do that, but I have syringomas under my eyes and I'm afraid to put anything there :) thank you x
What brand of tinted sunscreen is it?
@@LilBoPeep777 La Roche-Posey
@@LilBoPeep777 Thank you very helpful :)
What are your thoughts on repechage??
What about algentist? They claim a lot on their website. What’s your opinion? Super pricy but seems to work well with my skin.
Tatiana Cupeles fragrance
Hi Dr.Dray,
About 3 months ago I ditched all my skincare I had been using from Sephora that I leaned was full of fragrance and irritants and I switched to the Cerave foaming face wash and Cerave moisturizer.
PS Dr Dray just posted a video a few days ago on treating adult acne.
Cerave foaming face wash gave me large underlying pimples which I didn't have beforehand. I switched to the hydrating cleanser &:my skin cleared up.
Aquation was excellent. I'm sad that they discontinued it.
It's available on Amazon.
@@lisameehan6937 Thanks!
Fleur Bandito you can also get it on Walmart website
The lotion that is in the circular container is not available on Walmart any longer, but it is available on Amazon.
That Bobbi Brown Skin Relief No 80 is brilliant. Definitely strengthens the skin barrier. It's crazy expensive though.
Do you apply it after a moisturizer or what step in your routine?
It comes with a dropper. I mix about four drops into my moisturiser and apply at night.
As far as a topical antioxidant, would you recommend an algae extract over a vitamin c? I know your thoughts on vitamin c and I just really like the idea of a topical antioxidant in addition to spf.
Thank you for the unbiased, honest info! Greetings from AZ 🌵
The ordinary marine hyluronics serum is super watery. I didn't feel like it did much. Thank you for the information. I tried to find a marine product after your La Mer video. Lots of stuff to try now!
Yeah too many, I have been spending so much money on skin care products after watching many skincare youtubers.
Of course cruelty free, no dyes, must have sunscreen, and I know it wouldn't have fragrance...lol
A dupe skincare line of La Mer would be awesome.... without the spit in the soft cream...lol...😊
Would you categorize sea Kelp with sea algae? I just got a sea Kelp serum from Inkey List, is it worth even using?
Dr. Dray, thank you so much for taking the time to explain everything thoroughly. I have been learning so much!
I do have a request, can you please review the Biossance line? I like the line and their ingredients but I want to be sure it is worth it.
Lovely to see Ziaja (Polish brand) on your channel.
It's a cheap, but gentle/basic brand.
Also, you pronounce it Ziaya, or Zaya. ;-)
Oh thank you!
no wonder I no longer see any aquation products on the counter. really enjoyed their products
Would you review 'Advanced Clinicals' skincare products please?
I am allergic to iodine. Should I avoid skin creams containing red kelp? Is absorption through the skin a concern?
I got the equate Oatmeal Daily moisturizing lotion with Dimethicone skin protestant. Fragrance free paraben free. 33 oz. under 7.00 at Wal-Mart. Feels great. Use 50 Sun screen on face. Thank you so much for your great videos . Starting to take care of my skin . Lorrie ♥️😎
Funnily enough, Deciem just released (as in today) their new CAIL, a product containing a newly-discovered blue-green algae . Pricey but it also contains copper peptides .
Cristina Risso that’s super expensive
I saw that too, Deceim is it the ordinary? They aren't expensive worth a try 🙏
@@michelles2299 well, Deciem is the mother brand of TO but this product is NIOD, which is their expensive brand
@@cristinarisso8668 thank you for explaining this is very helpful 🙏💖
Yes, me too! A review on the Gentle Milk Cleanser, Gentle Toning Lotion and Skin Recovery Cream please?
Happy Monday Dr. Dray and everyone . I agree you look stunning . Thank you so much for this topic . Love how you breakdown each product , so tried of hearing other youtubers just say "buy it , its great " You are the best !!!
@Diana Moore thanks Diane enjoy !
Aquation is good..they also had the soap at dollartree..bought it before

All the data I read on it's not very significant , there's one doctor that promotes glycolic acid and never prescribes differin? confused???... thanks
Thank you so much Dr, will go get a Ziaja sensitive cream, it's 4.99 €. Greetings from Barcelona!
yellowmystic let me know how you like it
@@DrDrayzday I got it last week.
Hello Dr Dray, what mineral sunscreen would you recommend for combo skin with tint and without?
Dr. Dray, y
ou are gorgeous as always! May I ask you can you make a video about radiofrequency facial? Does it really worth?

Hi dr dray ❤️ will ingested seaweed give the same effect for the skin ?
Have you seen the new Peter Thomas Roth Creme for bags under eye! I wonder if an equivalent or dupe would be Prep-H?🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Hi Dr Dray! What do think about Ectoin in skincare? Thank you!
Hi Dr. Dray! Are the bioderma options safe to use on the face?
