    Thank you, this was great. I normally find your workouts sooo hard but this one was just right, not sure if it was a little easier or if I'm getting a little stronger. Thank you

    • @PilatesBodywithMichelleAlexis
      @PilatesBodywithMichelleAlexis  Год назад +1

      Awesome!! I definitely think you’re getting stronger because I thought this one was challenging while I was doing it. 😊 For any of my workouts, if you are finding them too hard, try doing the lighter spring option that might help. I think the older workouts tend to be a little harder than the ones where I’m in a new location. Sometimes I get a little excited with the workout that I plan and it is become harder than expected. Glad you enjoyed this one and have continued to try other workouts on the channel, appreciate it! 💕

      Thanks so much! Did it bother your neck doing the side leg work with your forearm on the box? Just out of curiosity bc toward the end of that series it got a little uncomfortable for my neck.

      Awesome! Thanks so much. I’m only posting free workouts every 6 weeks… but on my app/ website Pilates Body With Michelle I post new workouts Mondays and Fridays. I offer a 7 day free trial if you want to try it out. (There is a RUclips membership too, which has the same workouts as my website, but no free trial here. I made the RUclips mainly for those that use subtitles or prefer the RUclips set up.

    Another winner, thank you! I have noticed the mat on your reformer bed a couple of times now. Can you tell me about it? It looks like a great way to maintain the vinyl.

    • @PilatesBodywithMichelleAlexis
      @PilatesBodywithMichelleAlexis  3 года назад +1

      Thanks Lori! The towel does help protect the vinyl because you don't have to use products on the reformer to clean the carriage. You just throw the towel in the wash and its clean. Its also great if you sweat a lot, the towel absorbs the sweat so you don't feel like you are slipping or sliding around on the carriage. It's also nice to use if you go to a pilates studio, some people probably don't clean their machines that well, so you just put the towel down and you know your safe from any germs. Hello. Thank you for this video! It has been a couple weeks since I got my spx at home reformer and I am uncertain where the metal spring bar (3 slots) and the removable stopper? I am 5.5” tall. Are you able to provide guidance? Thank you.

    • @PilatesBodywithMichelleAlexis
      @PilatesBodywithMichelleAlexis  3 года назад +1

      Hey Kerri, So i'm 5'7 and I have the metal spring bar at the first slot, meaning closest to the front of the machine and I have my stopper at the first hole. I like it close because when I do foot work, i like to get deep in the bend, and find that when my stopper or metal bar are out further I don't get as much range of motion. If you feel like you're cramped when you put your feet on the footbar then move the stopper out one slot. I typically don't move the metal spring bar unless its someone that is over 6ft tall. Hope that helps!

    Hi. I,ve been subscribed to your channel for years. But now I am unable to access all sorts of content because I need to “join the channel”. What does this mean? I’ve been all over the place in frustration not finding how or where I do this. Can you please direct me?

    • @PilatesBodywithMichelleAlexis
      @PilatesBodywithMichelleAlexis  Месяц назад

      I created a “RUclips membership” for many of my videos. There are still a handle of free ones, but if you want to join , RUclips has set it up where you have to join through the web browser not on the app. If you are on a computer, the join button will be right next to the subscribe button. Once you join, you can watch the videos on the RUclips app.

      This one was definitely a hard class. Not sure if I did it in this workout or not, but sometimes I’ll say the number of pulses or reps we are going to do and halfway through regret haha. But I would suggest if there are a lot of reps and you start getting tired, maybe lighten the spring slightly so you can still continue.
