Just incredible! I feel like I'm on my PC playing the best sci-fi games that there ever was to this incredible music. By the way I have all 5 PC games plus Wing Commander Saga and can't wait until they release Star Citizen and Squadron 42
The criticism of this movie was unfounded. It was an excellent sci-fi, ranking with star trek and star wars. The theme was one of the best in movie history.

The BEST theme and score of ANY Sci-Fi Film including Star Trek and Star Wars. The Film is my all time favorite ,more than Star Wars. Read the Novel, played the PC Games. The theme tells you are to embark on a great adventure.

I am just here for the 3:35. I now play this in all my star fighter games. Right now I am fighting the Covenant in my Saber on that level of Halo Reach.
I hear ya dude. I use this in all my space games along with "The Last Starfighter" theme, "Robotech Shadow Chronicles" theme, and "Judge Dredd" theme (the Sylvester Stallone version).
Although I do wish the movie had starred Mark Hamill, Malcolm McDowell, and John Rhys-Davies and continued the Origin games storylines, what we got was still a fun movie with an excellent soundtrack and it was fun to see the early years of the war against the Kilrathi in live action.
Didn’t Kevin Kiner do the score for Star Wars: Rebels? If he did, that gives this movie a connection since Freddie Prinze, Jr. is also in that show as Kanan.
Nothing was wrong with this movie, it just wasn't Wing Commander. It was very much Das Boot in Space. No seriously, the similarities between the movies is hilarious.
@@Nupetiet They should have included Spirit instead of Rosie, who wasn't even an actual character in the game, and made the romance subplot (if they absolutely *had* to keep it at all) between her and literally anyone besides Maniac. I would usually kill Maniac in the game because he was so annoying and unhelpful, and his contribution to the movie was comparable.

Nope completely founded, the games did it MUCH better. The only 2 good things about the movie was Maniac and the music..the rest was crap.

Who ever says this is a terrible movie then you don't know your movies , I personally think it's great and the theme makes it even better.

It really is. I love the Wing Commander games. Their spiritual successor Star Lancer.
One of the greatest movies themes for a crappy movie. Its a great military theme though! I use it in military game playthroughs.
Proof that a great score can't help a bad movie. This score was definitely worthy of a much better film than what ended up getting released.
