OP, the use of a "police" siren by non-authorized citizens could be construed as impersonating a police officer. A little tidbit to add fuel to the fire if you felt like kicking them when they were down. 🤣
it depends on where you are, a yellow light is typically used by security personnel in my part of the usa and they can be used fairly freely with no perceived harm unless it was excessive and disturbing the police.
The yellow light is more annoying than authoritative; that's why when mall, or any other, security got behind me I wouldn't stop, giving them the one-fingered salute, and keep going. Only the police had, and used, blue lights.
Specific rules vary between states and counteries but in general the use of yellow lights is for utility, construction and heavy load vehicles. Other people may attach yellow lights, but only use them off road or on private property. Sirens are only ever permissible on emergency vehicles, but trucks and vans may repeatedely honk when put in reverse, some places this is required and sometimes this can sound simmilar to a siren.
My dad was the HOA president for a year, and he literally couldn't take it. And our society isn't even that big, its a single 9 storey building with around 25 families. There were so much politics and drama, and it wasn't even a paid thing, totally voluntary. He quit as soon as he could, and the new guys are at least somewhat decent.
@@ZonalJump97 Yeah, they mentioned pancakes in the beginning and everything. It was either an iHop or some other breakfasty diner place like Denny's/Waffle House.

I can get it for condos and the such. My sister has to deal with hoa, but the people in it are great, and they have one of the best parks in there county. Even I played on it, and I'm 23. There are times, many times, that it is just ridiculous. They tried to start an hoa in my parents neighborhood. We have a few fences that probably should be maintained, that's it, and they wanted an entire hoa... It's worth talking to the neighbors before moving into one, especially in a condo unit because there will be at least two: gardening care and snow removal. Ask those neighbors if they have had issues or high hoa fees before deciding where to live. But, if I buy a house rather than a condo, I want to choose my flowers, my roof color, if my garage door is open, etc.
My aunt lives in one, she’s the only person I know who enjoys it. But she lives in a very nice neighborhood in a bad city with a teenage boy. Her HOA is pretty lenient and is mostly just a neighborhood watch after a series of bad break ins and has rules about just submitting blueprints for building things like sheds before building it. She said they don’t do anything except watch out for big parties that they weren’t notified about 48hrs in advance (normal parties even outdoors are fine but if you can hear them down the street you’ll get a noise complaint warning), the only time she knows they’ve stepped in and fined someone was when a teenage boy threw a huge party on a school night because his parents were out of town and some people from his school brought drugs and cops had to be called due to an overdose. She’s really nosey so I don’t doubt what she’s saying. They have a time and place and can be okay if they’re just there for the safety of the neighborhood and aren’t overbearing but usually they end up being run by people on a power trip with too much time on their hands

That first story re: the HOA, an HOA member is LEGALLY ALLOWED TO REVIEW HOA MINUTES AND BUDGETARY INFO. OP should have requested the same, as it seems the HOA is falsely collecting fines, etc. for their own enrichment and not based on any published "rules" or ordinances. It's likely also illegal for the HOA president to use a police siren on a public road, by the way.
Literally sat and refreshed your videos tab because I wanted to be early... Stopped to get the kids on the school bus, checked back... I'm only 4 minutes late, and there are already 80 comments and over 1K views 😅😅 Good job, my friend 👌😎
That HOA guy was riding that power high long and hard. At the meeting OP should've said "You don't have the authority to silence me...because you're not an official HOA. You have no power over me or any of us AT ALL."
I live in an HOA that hates renters. One of them tried to get her way into my house without announcing that she was the HOA president. " I just want to see where my daughter will be playing" . What- who is your kid? I've never seen her before. They told the home owner that we were running an illegal garage out of our house for letting our friend fix his vehicle in the garage. Also said we left a cooler draining on the lawn for a week. It was overnight after we got back from camping. The owner told her to shove it. She's been quiet since.
"I explained to him that if he touched me again, I would take it as a sign of aggression and defend myself" If he said that to a Polish cop, not only would he lose a few of his teeth but would also end up in jail for a couple *YEARS* if he dared to defend himself during said teeth losing process...

I am having a hard time with the second story. When I had my appendix out, they didnt release me to go back to work for almost a month, even with fast healing, 2 weeks seems a bit soon.
Managers and general managers like this are always pulling a scam when long time employees are fired like this. This person did what she should have.not say a word and get every governing body in the state to inspect all the health violations. 'snith and whiner. How about my massjve lawbreakers.
Not to mention, having an appendectomy is no joke. A burst appendix will kill you. OP should have said "I'm going to the emergency room. And I'm NOT asking." Any manager disallowing that should be sued and fired Immediately.
The last story reminded me of my situation like 2 or 3 years ago. I also had a gangrenous appendix and I had to get surgery ( I apparently have a really high pain tolerance because I barely felt something, and I was supposed to be in excruciating pain judging by how bad my appendix looked). Anyway, I was at the end of my last college year, I only had one last exam before basically getting my degree. I called up the closest friend I had in the group and told them to tell the professor that I'm having surgery the day I'm supposed to take the exam and that I'll be back in a few days. Apparently the professor didn't believe that but decided to give me until the end of the week to take the exam. Well, something went wrong (I think with the anesthesia) and I literally could not lift my head up without having the worst migraine I have ever felt in my entire life. For a week and a half I didn't leave my bed and I could only eat and drink while my head was on the pillow because it was THAT bad. Well turns out that professor failed me and I was forced to either repeat that year, or pay a few hundred dollars (yes the system over here is fucked up, you can literally pay for your degree). I obviously went with the latter. No revenge story here though. And it's strange because that professor was cool up until that point.
That HOA post is one of the best revenge stories ever!!!! ps Could you give the pupper Hugo a big kiss and hug from his friend Liz in the Bronx? Thank you for all the much needed entertainment. Stay safe, stay healthy, STAY HOME!!
I have an issue with 17:20. Why is it that people see the gross conditions food are being prepared in and never report it to the health department until its some act of “revenge”?? You didn’t have a problem with serving that food to people until you lost your job?
The restaurant story is so true. I JUMP pancakes are shady, at the place I used to work they threatened everyone and looked into many illegal ways to save food by mixing new and old food plus other crap they do
the only reason why OP in the last story should feel bad is that he didn't report the hygiene violations as soon as he found out about them. Sorry, not sorry, you need and want a job, for sure, but obviously you're endangering all your customers.
Fun fact, the second story OP would still be able to file for wrongful termination as being "rehired" for one day only to be dismissed is very clear that it was to "get out of the lawsuit"

11:23 "they hadn't financially gained from it" a car dome light and police siren (which civilians shouldn't have for safety reasons) aren't cheap Edit: the cheapest good police siren on Amazon.com is $79.99 while the cheapest police flashing light on Amazon is a dash-mounted unit for $25.99 so if we round up, the siren is $80 and light is $26 so the combined total is $106 and I'm not including shipping or taxes... Also, pretty sure the "HOA" president was attempting to impersonate a police officer with these items
I am honestly shocked to my core that HOAs haven't been ruled as illegal. Imagine paying exorbitant fees to be constantly harassed and bullied in your own goddamn home.
The post about the fake HOA you have patience cuz if some guy was harassing me and he touched me on the shoulder I would have turned around and punched him in the face
I had to get my appendix out earlier this year. I tried to go to work, but my hubby convinced me to go to instacare first. I have a dang high pain tolerance. My appendix was 5 times bigger than it was supposed to be and the only time a shed a tear was when I had been walking around to different appointments from 8am to 5pm, with no food the entire day (incase I got surgery), and I was tired. My family was sure I had gas pain, my boss seemed skeptical because I said, "if everything at instacare is fine, I'll head right over after." I think she thought I was trying to come into work late. Once I texted family and boss that I had to get into surgery that night (because it was on the verge of bursting), all of them flipped out and began to say sorry. (My ENTIRE FREAKIN family went to the hospital as if I was on my deathbed. Love those guys.) What honestly bothered me the most was how my boss treated me after a week off. which, for my job, had to be a week. It is a body draining job. She said, "oh you lucky girl, you got a week off." ....did she think I had fun with that pain??? I could handle the pain like a champ, I didn't take any medicine for a while until I realized the swelling wasn't going down. But the moment I stood up, it felt like I couldn't breathe. I had to cling onto my husband until I got my bearings. No. It isnt lucky I got a week of doing nothing but healing
Absolutely! I mean- "You've been fired. Oh what's that? Proof???" Okay come back to work. -Next day- "Alright. Fired. What for?? You're lazy complain way to much" Uhm.... You can't fire someone for being annoying if they do their job. And you cannot call someone working THAT much lazy.
Don't sign anything, Force them to take legal action. If they don't, you know its bs. To be clear, this is for if you are not informed of an HOA before you move in.
HOA's need to be gotten rid of... I would have ripped the real estate agent a new one for not telling me about an HOA home. I can't believe the police or the courts waste theirs and everyone else's time with those trashy things.
No. IIRC They were initially started to make sure that certain neighbors(dirty) keep their yards clean. Mostly they were used to keep certain minority out of white neighborhoods.
HOA's are basically a coalition of the residents of a particular area all agreeing to certain rules, typically cosmetic type things. with the intent to keep property values as high as possible. They're a bit tricky in that you don't have to join one but if the homeowner before you or the landlord that owns the place joined the HOA before you bought the place then you're stuck with it and have to join. That may vary state to state but that seems to be the way a majority of them operate after hearing so many of these HOA stories.
Just to point out, we don't call the H-U-D homes, we pronounce it as a word, Hud. Like hug, with a D. (Housing and Urban Development, in case anyone is wondering)

Think about what you did." Luckily, my parents thought it was dumb. They got me McDonald's. Pretty good day for 9 y/o me.
Imagine a principal trying to parent a kid they barely know
B R U H
If that's the case send kids home for bullying other students. That's just stupid
I was bullied and nothing happened other than "we'll change this class" like... They can still bully in halls and lunch and breaks. Fucking retards.
Usually, teachers become teachers because they suck at everything else
Strange that you can be fired on the spot for "being lazy and complaining" without prior warning etc
Yeah, work at will states suck
Yup.... stuff like that is why I'm moving far, far away from my current location soon
That’s why I’m saving up to move out of the country. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get the plane ride covered by school, but I got 2 backup plans.
I just Looked up "IHOP Shut Down for Unsanitary Conditions" and what i got was a Dover Chain closing in 2020.
That self important rent-cop is a regular ole Zimmerman. People like him are dangerous and power hungry!
*Scammer:* Good day sir! Is this Duchi?
*Me:* _No! This is Patrick!_
I will absolutely never move to a place with an HOA! There are SO many horrible stories. These people go above and beyond to make life hell.
Op: parks can a little bit too much to the right
HOA: Smells like money
I live in an HOA that hates renters. One of them tried to get her way into my house without announcing that she was the HOA president. " I just want to see where my daughter will be playing" . What- who is your kid? I've never seen her before.
They told the home owner that we were running an illegal garage out of our house for letting our friend fix his vehicle in the garage. Also said we left a cooler draining on the lawn for a week. It was overnight after we got back from camping. The owner told her to shove it. She's been quiet since.
"I explained to him that if he touched me again, I would take it as a sign of aggression and defend myself"
If he said that to a Polish cop, not only would he lose a few of his teeth but would also end up in jail for a couple *YEARS* if he dared to defend himself during said teeth losing process...
I have to say, this is the only youtube channel I have seen EVERY SINGLE video off. I refresh everyday just to watch the new vid. Thank you rSlash, and if you ever want my story of prorevenge/entitledparents, hit me up.
I am having a hard time with the second story. When I had my appendix out, they didnt release me to go back to work for almost a month, even with fast healing, 2 weeks seems a bit soon.
I love you
Everyone's recovery time is different. My brother was back in under a week.
These stories are beautiful. Gives me hope that there are still good people in this world.
HOA’s are terrible, even if they are legit, never sign up for them
Managers and general managers like this are always pulling a scam when long time employees are fired like this.
How do these people have the restraint not to assault these people? If likely end up in prison for concussing somebody if they did me dirty like that.
There is nothing wrong with being a “snitch” in a situation like this.
That HOA story is like a legit reason the mob exists to beat the crap out of people like that lol
Oof, a church and an HOA. At least the former can sometimes be good.
I think you mean latter
Neither are ever good
Both can be good. It depends on who runs them.
14:33 now that we know OP had appendicitis which can kill we know that the moron of a boss endangered OPs life
The last story reminded me of my situation like 2 or 3 years ago.
OP: *is alive*
HOA: Sir, that's an HOA violation.
That HOA post is one of the best revenge stories ever!!!!
ps
Could you give the pupper Hugo a big kiss and hug from his friend Liz in the Bronx? Thank you for all the much needed entertainment. Stay safe, stay healthy, STAY HOME!!
Was the president even allowed to use the fake siren? Isn’t that considered impersonating a police officer?
there are many forms of sirens and some areas yellow light is permitted to use to the public.
Sirens, from what I've read, are illegal to use as an ordinary citizen
I think I found the news article for the second story or at least a very similar one. Love that it shut down, the person deserves better.
OP: Wakes up
HOA: FINE
I have an issue with 17:20. Why is it that people see the gross conditions food are being prepared in and never report it to the health department until its some act of “revenge”?? You didn’t have a problem with serving that food to people until you lost your job?
Dude, that HOA story sounds like a really good movie plot😂
Karen: **knocks on door**
Me, age 12 and realizing she's got the haircut: **stepdad's name**
Stepdad (6'7, buff, tattoos, veteran. He served in the Iraq War): Hello?
Karen: Where is the woman of the house?
My dad, a gay male: Hold on. **My name** would you mine talking to this woman?
Me: Hello, I am the woman of the house
Karen: Where is your mother?
Me: At her house with her wife. This is my dad and stepdad. I'm the woman of the house. May I help you?
Karen: **surprised Pikachu face** You mean they're *GaY* ??????
Me: Yes. The hell do you need?
Karen: Uhh... **leaves**
Did that actually happen?

My friend posted it from my account
Ah
14:20 When I heard "stabbing pain in lower abdomen" I knew immediately. Old friend, inflamed appendix. I'm told the pain is unreal.
Friendly reminder that rslash's bday is next Saturday (^: dont forget to wish him a happy birthday
2nd story:
Am i the only one who feels like this story has Kitchen Nightmare feels? Then suddenly Gordon Ramsay suddenly popped up and screamed "IT'S F***ING RAW!!"
Best thing to do to a scammer is get into _their_ computer and make them install a virus. It'll shut down the entire center.
Ugh that HoA. I would have snapped way sooner. Mind, with how pushy he was, I'd have brought it to a lawyer right away, then come back going, "Your HoA is illegal, wanna go?"
11:23 "they hadn't financially gained from it" a car dome light and police siren (which civilians shouldn't have for safety reasons) aren't cheap
Edit: the cheapest good police siren on Amazon.com is $79.99 while the cheapest police flashing light on Amazon is a dash-mounted unit for $25.99 so if we round up, the siren is $80 and light is $26 so the combined total is $106 and I'm not including shipping or taxes... Also, pretty sure the "HOA" president was attempting to impersonate a police officer with these items
the research put into this is great
I am honestly shocked to my core that HOAs haven't been ruled as illegal. Imagine paying exorbitant fees to be constantly harassed and bullied in your own goddamn home.
You know with all the HoA bullshit I've heard about I 'm really surprised that I haven't heard of an HoA story that ended in murder.
The post about the fake HOA you have patience cuz if some guy was harassing me and he touched me on the shoulder I would have turned around and punched him in the face
what HOA standed for for the fake HOA: Home's Ours, Alright?
What that Managers doing is MASSIVELY Illegal
Nobody:
Not A Single Soul:
House Owner:
HOA President: *_THATS A VIOLATION OF HOA RULES_*
Love those guys.)
What honestly bothered me the most was how my boss treated me after a week off. which, for my job, had to be a week. It is a body draining job. She said, "oh you lucky girl, you got a week off."
....did she think I had fun with that pain??? I could handle the pain like a champ, I didn't take any medicine for a while until I realized the swelling wasn't going down. But the moment I stood up, it felt like I couldn't breathe. I had to cling onto my husband until I got my bearings. No. It isnt lucky I got a week of doing nothing but healing
There has to be some case for skirting around wrongful termination.
Absolutely! I mean- "You've been fired. Oh what's that? Proof???" Okay come back to work.
-Next day-
"Alright. Fired. What for?? You're lazy complain way to much"
Uhm.... You can't fire someone for being annoying if they do their job. And you cannot call someone working THAT much lazy.
Holy shit that HOA lying to everyone inside it! Damn
You forgot the read the rest of the story where OP's friend decided to open up the place again but differently (I think still pancakes or something).
Lived in an HOA like this, cannot stress enough how much I HATE HOAs & how ESCTATIC I am that we sold the house and made a killing doing so!
OP:
HOA: Wait! Thats illegal!
Don't sign anything, Force them to take legal action. If they don't, you know its bs.
To be clear, this is for if you are not informed of an HOA before you move in.
Honestly there need to be an r/HOA-owned
I like the longer stories TBH

I’ve heard these stories before, but these two never get old :)
Me: Dang people are mad about hoa.
Other people: *HOA MEME COMMENTS*

HOA: *"That's a fine!"*
"Flash forward 6-9 months" *Me:Laughs internally* "Me:69"

HOA's need to be gotten rid of... I would have ripped the real estate agent a new one for not telling me about an HOA home.
I can't believe the police or the courts waste theirs and everyone else's time with those trashy things.
RSlash please upload to the podcast I lisiten everyday and I’ve been lisitening to the same episodes over and over again
How can anyone buy into an HOA? How could you possibly be fine with not having full control of your home? Who thought this BS was a good idea?
Are HOAs actually mandated by law in the US? Cause I keep hearing about them on stories like the first one. Idk about other countries though
Pro revenge is my new favorite subreddit.
OP: Goes home
HOA: That's a paddlin'.
HOA President: give me ur money
OP: 🔃
HOA President: sh•t *sells house*
The guy in the thumbnail was saying "Hey, Vsauce, Michael here."
HOA's make me violently angry. I'd be arrested if I ever had to answer to one.
Me : SL IMY BEANS
HOA : ThAtS a ViOlAtIoN
Scammer: I'll take your money.
OP : *Uno reverse card*
Anyone else getting deja vu? Heard the second story on this channel very recently.....
Just to point out, we don't call the H-U-D homes, we pronounce it as a word, Hud. Like hug, with a D.
(Housing and Urban Development, in case anyone is wondering)
When I read the title I though it said 20.00$
This is where I am _so_ glad my neighborhood doesn't have an HOA. Seems like a hell of a lot more trouble than it's worth.
If I were OP I whould of murdered
Them cuz why not
Ha I feel like the manager from the last story would be like Amy from kitchen nightmare acts all jolly but complains a LOT and is just pure crazy.
