Wow. This is like a hidden gem for radiohead fans, those tracks have some special aesthetic of loneliness. I especially loved Montee, reminded me a lot deftones covers album and true love waits is great too. Thanks for Sharing very much!!!
Loved this, and it just shows how great paranoid android is, what was released on the studio album was only a fraction of it's potential and it's great seeing what radiohead sounds like when they go full psychodelic.
@@childofthesun32 pinback's a very good (and really underrated) indie rock group, they're worth a listen--i haven't seen any other band that has the unique bass playing, vocal layering alongside using voices as instruments like pinback does. any album of theirs is a good starting point, most people recommend summer in abaddon or blue screen life as a jumping point
I've never been able to bring myself to listen to the mini disks, mad when you consider how much of my life is devoted to doing fuck all. This may well have persuaded me to take the plunge. Thanks. But as always, cheers to the Radiohead boys x
Don't worry, it's been cleared entirely :) Radiohead allows stuff like this in general (In Rainbows), and the MiniDiscs were available for a while. Make sure you pay attention to the organs in Early Nude and the Exit Life in a Glasshouse closer! I'm addicted.
Well. Very interesting. This is definitely outtakes and the early stages of experimentation. It is fascinating how much the songs changed, and were refined, subsequently. But I’m not really sure that we should be privy to their process. I’ve always wondered what it sounded like, that process, but clearly Radiohead did not release these, for good reason. These are not the final product, nor what they wanted the world to hear. It makes me feel uncomfortable, guilty, honestly, listening to this. I don’t entirely agree or trust you that it’s all fine, they don’t mind. It is evident they ultimately went very different directions with every song. That, alone, is proof enough for me that these are not for public consumption. Every artist(s) has a right to opaqueness when it comes to their process. And these clearly are a work in progress.
I really enjoy when the artistic process is revealed, and I wish artists weren't so afraid or loathe to let their progress be documented and shared. Every piece of art - every step of art - is beautiful.
Radiohead released 18 minidics of material to the public (from which these are all outtakes) - on a 'pay what you feel like' basis - after someone tried to blackmail them by stealing the material and threatening to release it unless the band paid-up. So, yeah, none of this was ever meant to be released, but the band were happier allowing fans to pay to hear it, than they were being blackmailed........
Everywhere At The End Of Radiohead
Motion Picture Soundtrack in this version sounds amazing.
i know rignt its so gooood
A fellow poison lover.
Those early lyrics to Nude are wild
please list them
This feels like "the backrooms" equivalent of a Radiohead album. I don't know how to explain why, but thanks for sharing this.
It does sound hella cursed
Todo kid a mnesia es una backroom XD
@@cristianjbc4073definitely true, though I’ve heard the songs on it so many times that it lost that unnerving feeling
backrooms fans when they hear creepy ambient music
“Feels like”??

the early nude w/ the layered vocals near the end blows my mind, reminds me alot of the vocal layering pinback does

Man soft pain 3-3 is so fucking good
I feel something when i listen to this
Like,i feel something but i don't know what i am feeling
00:57:20 Montee always reminded me a lot of Deathmetal (Panchicko's theme) when I listened to it more closely
I cannot express how much I appreciate this
This is like a reborn my god.

They’ve released all this stuff at some point, just not as one album.

@@davekatz3679 This is really interesting. I didn't know this was why they did that. Thanks for the info. 🎯
Calm down Radiohead has no issue with this it wouldn’t be up if they did. There’s tons of bsides and outtakes available for decades.
Really loving this, is there any way I can download this?
RUclips to mp3 lol
@@Riamoka it's going to get the full thing in one file, plus .flac files are of better quality.
