This made me rethink that "Anyone Can Play Guitar" is actually a good song and not just a meme of Thom screaming at the camera and jumping on the pool.
@@ghazypangerang6118 Actually it's my fav from Pablo Honey too. Even though I think Creep is a good song/well-written, I just don't think its grungy tone fits the lyrics well, and that's why I prefer covers of the song in a different style (like Kelly Clarkson or Hailey Reinhart) over the original. Anyone, on the other hand, is catchy, fun, the music fits the lyrics, and Thom sure turned it into a hell of a "performance". I'm a student at School of Rock and we are learning this song. It's terribly fun to play on bass. However, Colin Greenwood's restraint is admirable. I really want to dig in on parts but he keeps it even. I try to learn from artists I cover to get inside their head and understand how they serve the song. This is a lesson for me.
